American laws with these guns are a little weird. In Canada, they are in our non-restricted firearm category, and we are allowed to put full stocks on them no problem. I've seen guys successfully using them for deer hunting. They're good wildlife, ATV, and camp guns. I've got a short length youth stock on my shotgun. Keeps it small and light, while still allowing it to be shouldered. Awesome.

If I ever go the SBS route, TAC-14 is for sure the gun. Love the traditional wood
It's quite handy how it is but I agree this would be mean looking with a stock.
