Handmade Knit Dish Cloths using Leftover Yarn and Learning New Stitches (stash buster)

I have made two new dish cloths with my leftover yarn, while learning new knit stitches. I tried the Double Woven Rib Stitch and the Basket Weave Stitch.

I learned my lesson the hard way when I stopped my project at Row 30 and didn't write it down. Took forever to get on track. Also worse. During a project I borrowed that size of needle for a different project simply by putting stitches on a string. Not the first time. When I went back to the project on a string I put the piece back onto the wrong size needles. Sometimes I use a different size than pattern calls for. I only noticed after many new rows. I try now to always make myself a note.
