Gear fourth/Snake man - focuses on stretching 4.Gear fourth/Tank man-focuses on durability 5.Gear fourth/Bound man focuses on all those attributes, and Gear 5th should be a boost to those balance attributes or you can replace Gear two and Gear third with different Gear fourth forms
My only concern about Gear 5th during the war is that it might be the situation where he can't move or use Haki for a period of time like the other gears and we can't really afford that Then again Dressrosa went by fine but still

To me, it depends on the following pattern: Boundman: basic attack G4 Tankman: basic defense G4 Snakeman: advanced perception haki G4 to fight advanced perception haki and speed. Lionman (?): advanced armament haki G4 to fight advanced armament haki and tenacity. G5: awaken powers submitting the akuma thanks to conqueror haki, being able to transform the surroundings into rubber and being able to expand without the air to inflate his organs, we will have a giant full haki Luffy, perfect to fight Kaido (of course, this would cost a whole lot of haki in a short period of time). I came to the conclusion that the secret to awakening is influencing the akuma with all the 3 haki. Armament haki is the channel that allows your akuma to lend you its full powers and lets the akuma expand out of the boundaries of your human body by means of imbuing the environment with that haki. Perception haki works depending on the type of akuma you have: you can use it to create independent clones of your "element", to transform into your element unconsciously... And, last but not least, conqueror haki allows you, as I said, to submit your akuma and do almost whatever you want with your powers, otherwise, you can only use a "hybrid" form of the awakening, less powerful but less tiring (examples: Luffy's G4, Big Mom's haki fist that absorbs haki, Crocodile's draining hand...). I feel like the reason Doffy and Katakuri could change their environment was because they had paramecia fruits that let them produce something. It would be strange to me at least if Luffy developed an awakening like that since his fruit only affects his body.
Can you do a video of how more effective usopp would be if he carried a sidearm or why he should have a gun or rifle (not as a replacement of kabuto but to use in certain situations)? I mostly think he should have one for a situation such as dressrosa where he was sniping sugar. All of the time and preparation that when into the ammo and shot along with the struggle to pull back the giant kabuto could've been avoided with a rifle. And as far as any argument with him being undertrained to use a gun, usopp was an expert at firing a cannon from the very beginning
Hey mahn, If you do not quite understand why Zorro got that all of a sudden ashura, then PLEASE READ: Zoro's religion is based on Buddism, as seen in many of his attack, and buddist do not believe in god(if you are thinking that Zorro stated he does not pray to any God). Thus Zorro follows the six paths to enlightenment, and he gets his power by accepting and realizeing each and every one of these paths. One of which is the path of Ashura, thus justifying Ashura power up. Another is the path of the animal, thus justifying his Gorrilla Biceps and other animal based attacks. there are other paths also, and Zorro is yet to show us his God Mode(Path of the Gods) and Hell Mode(Path of Hell), thus after he conquers all of these paths he will become enlightened and probably receive another HUUGGE power up. and if you really wnna know more, I suggest you watch one of Joy_Boys video on Zorro Gode Mode.

I agree, he might not need a gear 5th until end game war. I rather prefer him to show fluid changes between the 4th gear forms with ryo. Imagine a snakeman quick sneaky attack coated in ryo? Who is winning against that? I would argue that he hasnt mastered 2nd and 3rd gear just yet either. He is still too slow when entering gear 3rd, he needs to bypass that pumping air into the bone lag. If he can expand his bones at will mid punch, thats deadly in itself.
Gear 5 will be an advanced Ryou based gear IMO. All out offense type. Visually it would look more similar to his base form, than his other gears. (less animalistic). But with a Ryou based visual, to show the flow of haki going to specific parts of the body he is forcing the haki into. It would likely combine his advanced ryou with advanced observation, for like an ultra instinct, god mode luffy lmao. P.S. People forgetting how strong/fast he is physically after the seastone training. *I believe G5 was teased in opening 23. Where his haki flows to his fist, his eyes glow, he punches kiadou and the air cracks.
Luffy's awakening; IMO He is not a producer, he ability only affects his body and he cannot externalize his power. I believe awakening is essentially awakening the spirit/soul of the devil that resided in the devil fruit the person ate, and is laying dormant in the body. Logia's affect their environment naturally; however awakened logia's externalize their power to a greater degree and quite literally change their environment. Paramecia's like Doffy, and katakuri are different to luffy in that they can produce strings/mochi. Therefore their awakenings are able to turn their surroundings into external sources of power for their DF. Luffy's awakening will act in a similar way, in that it will extrinsically effect his environment/surroundings however it wont work exactly like Doffy's as Luffy is not a producer. Luffy will be able to "rubberize" the land, sea an air. That's it, very simple. He wont be able to produce rubber, nor will he be able to permanently change the environment, hell simply apply his abilities which only affect him, onto his surroundings. This would be the perfect counter to Blackbeard's Gura Gura no mi. Earthquake? Nah m8 rubberize that shit and make the floor ripple instead. Tsunami? Nah m8 rubberize the sea and simply make it ripple. As well as it being the perfect counter to the Gura Gura no mi. It would be very applicable in combat, being able to jump off the now rubberized air, Luffy could possibly rubberize the sea and bounce of it's surface (f he were to somehow fall down towards the sea). He could rubberize the floor/air to greatly enhance speed/power etc. he could use it to disrupt his opponents balance/foundation, he could rubberize the sunny to repel cannonballs. He could possibly create walls of rubber via the floor/air/sea to repel enemy fire/keep his comrades safe. I can think of so many applications lol.

Put 2 and 2 together and you get 4. Its a pretty logical idea to say that akainu/aokiji's effect on punk hazard was due to awakening, and therefore we can infer from their encounter that logias affect and change their environments. Luffys awakening affecting himself would go against the 2 confirmed awakenings of paramecia type we have seen so far. My stance on luffy adding his effect onto his surroundings rather than producing extra resources with his ability (aka more strings/mochi) etc. makes sense because luffy does not produce rubber. He is a human with rubbery physical qualities. Therefore he would not be able to produce rubber externally. Instead he would, like his body add the rubber effect onto his chosen surroundings. I feel like luffy is gonna have another gear fourth type that's focused more on strength and it would be related to ryou armament haki in some way shape or form. As for Gear fifth I feel like he will get it after wano just cause I feel like already having gear fifth for kaido would be too fast unless luffy loses to Kaido again. For wano though I feel like luffy would have the following: Gear Fourth Bounce Man, Snake Man, Tank Man, [whatever the power version of gear fourth name will be] Luffy will be able to change to different gear fourth forms at will which would be very useful depending on the situation of the fight. Idk I would argue that 5th could be an advanced application of ryuo potentionally coming up in fight against kaido. And 6th could be an application of his awakening with seamless transformations from gear to gear mid fight
I’ve always thought that Bellamys ricochet attack is a foreshadowing of one of Luffy’s awakening attacks. Maybe Bellamy dies some kind of honorable death, or impactful death, redeeming himself, and Luffy does an attack similar to his but on steroids in his honor, sort of like Red Hawk.
I really like the idea about Luffy being able to switch into his different Gear forms at will I think that would be super Op. But no offence man but everybody and their grandma has made a video about Gear 5th and theorised all of the ideas you had in this video.

I don’t see anyone speculating this, but up until now we have seen Luffy expand one part of his body to a massive size. What if gear 5 is him expanding his entire body to be proportionate to the size of the elephant gun and coating his entire body in hardening or the advanced armament invisible armor. It would fit with his recent mastery of ryuo control and could be something he started to teach himself during the 6 months of self training while he fought the huge beasts.
How about Luffy getting a staff (a weapon he's familliar with) that extends and retracts in his will since he can manipulate rubber properties. *Wukong's monkey king bar reference*

He’ll be hard to deal with if his awakening would be like Gentle Criminal’s quirk. Imagine awakening with advanced observation haki. He can create rubber walls to intercept charging enemies and make bounce them away. He can also use that to make projectile attacks ricochet towards his enemies. He can also increase bound man’s power by jumping on a rubberized surface.
there could be a monkey king form, myo-o form, buddha form, fujin form, giant form, gear neutral, gear negative, nightmare gear 4th, a gear also tied to the nervous system, dragonman, beastman. one thing I also noticed is that luffy is heavily tied to the myo-o, the monkey king wukong and also hercules since hercules completed his trials from different animals and the last one he defeated is the cerberus which is blackbeard
Gear Secondo involves the Cardiovascular System. Gear Third focuses on the Skeletal System. Gear Fourth deals with the Muscular System. There are 11 Organ Systems in the Human Body: Neural, Skeletal, Muscular, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Digestive, Reproductive, Urinary, Respiratory, Endocrine, and Integumentary (Skin) Systems. We already have three out of the way. Reproductive and Urinary most likely aren't options. Remember, a car can have six and occasionally seven gears. Observation Haki and Conqueror's Haki could be the focus of some of them. His elasticity and others aspects of Rubber can be as well.
Luffy is in a sense a paramecia/logia since his body is made from the "rubber". But if the rubber breaks, he gets injured unlike logias. I think awakening might give him the ability to basically grow and shrink his body without manually inflating. Hes already shown examples of this when gear third used to make him shrink. And weve seen the opposite when lily grew inside of him and he became a giant. Almost as forshadowing. Awaking could also give him the effects of logia rubber, which means if his "rubber" body was to get injured or get a hole in it then it would grow back just like a logia.
Im D. King even if he doesnt gain logia rubber, he could still gain the ability to stretch holes in his body basically by stretching his cells apart. This would work similar to katakuri’s mochi mochi. Or luffy has already awakened by learning how to harmonize Haki with his devil fruit. Gear 4th and snake man are examples. If i remember correctly, doflamingo couldnt combine haki with his strings, which makes luffys ability fairly unique. Look at what he was doing with his haki when he was snake man and stretched his arm for like a mile. Luffy doing this is like the equivalent of crocodile making haki sand or smoker making haki smoke. Pretty sure katakuri could only coat the ends of his mochi with haki (the fist part when he was imitating luffys attacks).
I believe luffy will reach the most peak strength in One Piece history therefore his final strength will be scary!! Also, if Luffy goes fifth he might use the Conqueror’s haki to manipulate to create that form since he already used Armament haki to create Gear fourth

I was thinking maybe his awakening will also allow him to have limitless stretching..since luffys moves are influenced by other things he sees, I’m thinking he will be influenced by the giant race and stretch his body to a point (due to awakening) where he can reach a giant form.
I think Luffy will galvanize his rubber for 5th gear to further increase his durability and strength in conjunction with his awakening to potentially bounce around like a rubber haki bullet
one piece is a devil fruit named Destiny Destiny which gives you the power to restart your journey and adventures again from the beginning thats why after roger sees it at raftel/laughtale and the poneglyph states that you've come again here in onepiece they laugh cause he remembered it after he ate the devil fruit, Roger and Luffy really likes adventures cause they were the same person. Then after he ate the fruit it activated the power which caused him to get ill and surrender himself to the marine so he can die and be ressurected, and that is LUFFY and so his journey restarts again. and it will repeat again and again then laugh caused he made it again haha.. maybe because of the will that zorro and rayleigh has the same mark on their eye and rayleigh's wife looks the same as robin and then maybe the twist is that luffy has had a devil fruit with his encounter of shanks for the first time of his endless journey being a pirate that he cannot eat the fruit again there's a lot of maybe cause this is just my theory. lets just wait for our ODA.
As far as taking an L before gear 5, what about the major L he took to Kaido? Or the fact that in Toto Land gear 4 was completely ineffective against Big Mom? Or the fact the gear 4 has only scraped by against commanders so he might need a new one for the yonko? Do those not count?
Luff ya awaking will be him being able to turn anything into rubber but when you get down to it that means he is probably the strongest devil fruit users due to him becoming immune to swords bullets and punches because he can turn almost everything into rubber so yea
Its been shown that people can control the temperature of their DF like katakuri burning mochi doffys burning string ace using green flames against BB if youre ab to say what ab red hawk well that is actually just him using speed and the friction of air to create flames but gear 5 could be him actually heating his own body to become liquid or at least very hot rubber and this doesnt necessarily have to be an awakening luffy cant generate rubber so him being able to turn the surrounding into rubber is unlikely i would lean towards him being able to maybe start producing rubber, control the density of his body, and or the shape of his body better like how katakuri made his hans into clubs but turning the surroundings into rubber might make sense also its worth mentioning maybe not all DF can be awakened because think about it what would an awakening look like for logias like the light and dark fruits or the tremor fruit
I was thinking a lot about Gear 4th Bullet Man, basically gear 4th while Luffy is small sized. And the disadvantage of this form would be that Luffy stays in the small form only a bit. Think about Ant Man when he is small, how strong he is. I think Luffy will be the same in this form. What do you think?

I think we are going to get gear 5 after wano. I also subscribed to the idea that with all these supernova in wano we were going to get a thriller bark type fight but instead of the strawhats vs moria, it was going to be the supernova vs kaido. With them using their powers to make like a modern day nightmare luffy. With hawkins powerup, and then kidd giving him armour like champion luffy. That's what I want to see

In a way luffy has all aspects of devil fruits within his. He transforms like zoans, being that characters like mr plastic and mr fantastic are highly capable fighter because thier ability to transform. I'd say luffy is a zoan in that regard. Also he if kind of fluid like a logia but he absorbs kinetic energy and it technically a paramecia

Luffy’s gear 4 forms are just him experimenting until he finds a fighting style that he can take advantage of. In Wano he’ll probably master gear 4 as he develops ryou.
I think luffy won’t be able to change his physical limbs into axe or swords only because the same reason he doesn’t need a weapon, his arms are literally his extendo staff that the monkey god holds there is no need

BTW are people forgetting what blackbeards devil fruit power is? It annulates the enemys df powers. Which means if blackbeards touches luffy in his gear 4 from, he will isntantly die from all of the air inside his body since his body becomes like that of a normal human. So in conlusion i dont think luffy will be able to rely on his devil fruit powers against blackbeard.

Can you do a video of how more effective usopp would be if he carried a sidearm or why he should have a gun or rifle (not as a replacement of kabuto but to use in certain situations)? I mostly think he should have one for a situation such as dressrosa where he was sniping sugar. All of the time and preparation that when into the ammo and shot along with the struggle to pull back the giant kabuto could've been avoided with a rifle. Zoro's religion is based on Buddism, as seen in many of his attack, and buddist do not believe in god(if you are thinking that Zorro stated he does not pray to any God).
Thus Zorro follows the six paths to enlightenment, and he gets his power by accepting and realizeing each and every one of these paths.
One of which is the path of Ashura, thus justifying Ashura power up.
Another is the path of the animal, thus justifying his Gorrilla Biceps and other animal based attacks.
there are other paths also, and Zorro is yet to show us his God Mode(Path of the Gods) and Hell Mode(Path of Hell), thus after he conquers all of these paths he will become enlightened and probably receive another HUUGGE power up.

It would likely combine his advanced ryou with advanced observation, for like an ultra instinct, god mode luffy lmao. P.S. People forgetting how strong/fast he is physically after the seastone training.
*I believe G5 was teased in opening 23. Where his haki flows to his fist, his eyes glow, he punches kiadou and the air cracks.
Luffy's awakening;
IMO
He is not a producer, he ability only affects his body and he cannot externalize his power.
I believe awakening is essentially awakening the spirit/soul of the devil that resided in the devil fruit the person ate, and is laying dormant in the body.
Logia's affect their environment naturally; however awakened logia's externalize their power to a greater degree and quite literally change their environment.
Paramecia's like Doffy, and katakuri are different to luffy in that they can produce strings/mochi. Therefore their awakenings are able to turn their surroundings into external sources of power for their DF.
Luffy's awakening will act in a similar way, in that it will extrinsically effect his environment/surroundings however it wont work exactly like Doffy's as Luffy is not a producer.
Luffy will be able to "rubberize" the land, sea an air. That's it, very simple. He wont be able to produce rubber, nor will he be able to permanently change the environment, hell simply apply his abilities which only affect him, onto his surroundings. This would be the perfect counter to Blackbeard's Gura Gura no mi. Earthquake? Nah m8 rubberize that shit and make the floor ripple instead. Tsunami? Nah m8 rubberize the sea and simply make it ripple.
As well as it being the perfect counter to the Gura Gura no mi. It would be very applicable in combat, being able to jump off the now rubberized air, Luffy could possibly rubberize the sea and bounce of it's surface (f he were to somehow fall down towards the sea). He could rubberize the floor/air to greatly enhance speed/power etc. he could use it to disrupt his opponents balance/foundation, he could rubberize the sunny to repel cannonballs. He could possibly create walls of rubber via the floor/air/sea to repel enemy fire/keep his comrades safe. I can think of so many applications lol.

Luffys awakening affecting himself would go against the 2 confirmed awakenings of paramecia type we have seen so far. 1. No we don´t know that, Doflamingo mentioned that about his Devil Fruit awakening. And Doflamingo never said anything about Devil fruit awakening altering environments PERMANENTLY (Punk Hazard).
2. Punk Hazard is not a good example. If you put 2 logias fighting in a small island that is the outcome. You think when Ace and Blackbeard fought that island was the same after the fight? SMH... Don´t forget that Caesar also messed up on a scientific experiment on that island and that´s why he was dismissed of Vegapunk´s team. It´s just as likely as 2 awakened logias. LOL

Luffy will be able to change to different gear fourth forms at will which would be very useful depending on the situation of the fight. For example, luffy would change bounce man into tank man right away.
Devil Fruit Awakening
Maybe even higher levels of haki that luffy gets during the fight with Kaido, maybe higher levels of armament haki that we haven't seen yet, mastered future sight on the same level if not better than katakuri, maybe getting hints of higher level of conquerors haki.

I’ve always thought that Bellamys ricochet attack is a foreshadowing of one of Luffy’s awakening attacks. Maybe Bellamy dies some kind of honorable death, or impactful death, redeeming himself, and Luffy does an attack similar to his but on steroids in his honor, sort of like Red Hawk.

I don’t see anyone speculating this, but up until now we have seen Luffy expand one part of his body to a massive size. What if gear 5 is him expanding his entire body to be proportionate to the size of the elephant gun and coating his entire body in hardening or the advanced armament invisible armor. It would fit with his recent mastery of ryuo control and could be something he started to teach himself during the 6 months of self training while he fought the huge beasts.

He’ll be hard to deal with if his awakening would be like Gentle Criminal’s quirk. Imagine awakening with advanced observation haki. He can create rubber walls to intercept charging enemies and make bounce them away. He can also use that to make projectile attacks ricochet towards his enemies.

Gear Secondo involves the Cardiovascular System. Gear Third focuses on the Skeletal System. Gear Fourth deals with the Muscular System. There are 11 Organ Systems in the Human Body: Neural, Skeletal, Muscular, Cardiovascular, Lymphatic, Digestive, Reproductive, Urinary, Respiratory, Endocrine, and Integumentary (Skin) Systems. We already have three out of the way. Reproductive and Urinary most likely aren't options. Remember, a car can have six and occasionally seven gears. Observation Haki and Conqueror's Haki could be the focus of some of them. His elasticity and others aspects of Rubber can be as well.

Luffy is in a sense a paramecia/logia since his body is made from the "rubber". But if the rubber breaks, he gets injured unlike logias. I think awakening might give him the ability to basically grow and shrink his body without manually inflating. Hes already shown examples of this when gear third used to make him shrink. And weve seen the opposite when lily grew inside of him and he became a giant. Almost as forshadowing. Awaking could also give him the effects of logia rubber, which means if his "rubber" body was to get injured or get a hole in it then it would grow back just like a logia.

Im D. King even if he doesnt gain logia rubber, he could still gain the ability to stretch holes in his body basically by stretching his cells apart. This would work similar to katakuri’s mochi mochi. Or luffy has already awakened by learning how to harmonize Haki with his devil fruit. Gear 4th and snake man are examples. If i remember correctly, doflamingo couldnt combine haki with his strings, which makes luffys ability fairly unique. Look at what he was doing with his haki when he was snake man and stretched his arm for like a mile. Luffy doing this is like the equivalent of crocodile making haki sand or smoker making haki smoke. Pretty sure katakuri could only coat the ends of his mochi with haki (the fist part when he was imitating luffys attacks).
That flexibility also matches his flexibility so it's a perfect match

one piece is a devil fruit named Destiny Destiny which gives you the power to restart your journey and adventures again from the beginning thats why after roger sees it at raftel/laughtale and the poneglyph states that you've come again here in onepiece they laugh cause he remembered it after he ate the devil fruit, Roger and Luffy really likes adventures cause they were the same person. Its been shown that people can control the temperature of their DF like katakuri burning mochi doffys burning string ace using green flames against BB if youre ab to say what ab red hawk well that is actually just him using speed and the friction of air to create flames but gear 5 could be him actually heating his own body to become liquid or at least very hot rubber and this doesnt necessarily have to be an awakening luffy cant generate rubber so him being able to turn the surrounding into rubber is unlikely i would lean towards him being able to maybe start producing rubber, control the density of his body, and or the shape of his body better like how katakuri made his hans into clubs but turning the surroundings into rubber might make sense also its worth mentioning maybe not all DF can be awakened because think about it what would an awakening look like for logias like the light and dark fruits or the tremor fruit

I feel like he can turn his surroundings into rubber but the villain wouldn’t know and so luffy can like punch the ground or something and it’ll pop right back up hitting the villain in the chin and he can do this for buildings and stuff as well so that would really work for his long range attacks so he doesn’t get close to Blackbeard so he cant use his vortex move
For example luffy can do gum gum gatling hitting the ground and oda can have blackbeard be confused by this at first but then luffy hits come from the ground itself hitting blackbeard
