- Judd is back with Stephen for another episode, but this time he's giving his very own Cue Tip! Judd shows off his incredible long potting and cue power by demonstrating his ridiculous screw-back long pot. Stephen can't quite believe his eyes! Judd even puts on the Cue Cam to give you all his perspective for this shot. After that, Judd takes on the Tough Table Challenge, can he beat Stephen or Mark Williams? You'll have to watch until the end to find out! Do keep sending in your Tough Table Challenge attempts on RUclips, Instagram or Twitter. We've seen a few of you out there having a go already, so thanks so much for getting involved, we'll hopefully feature these soon!

You're doing a great service for snooker. And I can't think of anyone in a better position to do it. Your team deserve praise too. Thanks to all of you for doing this. I'm sure in no time your reach will exceed what the TV channels are achieving.
He's proving to be very popular, and understandably so too.
Completely agree ... he's probably doing more for snooker with this new channel than he even did as a fantastic player and champion
Yeah, I was looking for content like this a few years ago when I used to play a lot with my dad, and was surprised to find very little/poor content on it.
This is a quality channel. Who would have thought the superstar we watched on TV during the 90s would be making class content like this for us to watch. Take a bow, Stephen.
Ronnie would ask what the prize is before doing the tough table challenge 😂
You’ll never see Ronnie on this channel
@@toziassmitt I think he would happily appear on here he has the deepest respect for Stephen, he has done numerous interviews and exhibitions with Stephen in the past so there wouldn't be a problem.
@@lukeharwood3922their public relationship is fine privately however they have had numerous disagreements
@@dilksjoel it's ok to have disagreements with people and still have a good relationship with them, the world would be pretty boring if we all had the same opinions.
@@lukeharwood3922 I think you need to brush up on Ronnie’s thoughts on Stephen. Clearly you are not very well informed and have a view as in the past, not current
Watching him knock in those first two deep-screw long reds was incredible. Anyone who plays snooker will understand how obscenely difficult it is to knock in a ball so far away, even plain ball - but to screw back to baulk? I doubt any other player in the world could do that 2 for 2 first try. Even Ronnie.
Truly a remarkable player and clearly has much more to offer.
Yeah Ronnie's a serial winner. The flashy shots are great to watch, but making every shot easier by having the white on a string is more impressive. Plus playing for the black in that situation is a more likely way to win matches. Hes incredibly talented and can play shots nobody else in the game can. But a great? Not really. 3 majors? His talent deserves more, but his style, ego, showmanship, whatever it is doesn't allow him to be a great. Before anyone says 'what have I won'? The answers nothing, but with judds talent I would have won more than 1 world title.
It becomes easy once you do it. The first time I screwed back from distance, I couldn't believe I did that. 😂. The tip of the cue was also a factor in the shot along with the cloth and especially the timing. You have to dig through the cue ball while pushing it forward. Power is less of a factor here.
@@johnwedgbury6817 haha. The old ‘oh yeah, what have you won?’ As if that’s a retort to anything. By that logic you could never criticise anyone unless you have performed better in their exact field. And with that, I announce Adam Duffy as a brilliant snooker player as he competes on the main circuit and I don’t.
i totally agree but they are playing on awesome tables. i mean even judd couldnt do that on the tables down my club, lol,
@@SuperChalkster definitely, he wouldn't have it bouncing off the baulk cushions at my club either. Regardless, the consistency of the potting is obscene
What is cooler than Stephen Hendry chatting you up, keeping score and spotting colors for you? I cant think of anything.
5:11 never thought we'd ever see a Judd Trump PoV cam. Awesome stuff. Hope that Matt Selt's attempt will be coming up soon on the channel; really enjoyed the over-the-table interview with him.
100% agreed
screw position was surprisingly higher up cue ball than I thought. Good insight from the POV angle
@@gregorious123 It looks like he doesn't quite hit where he's aiming on the final stroke if you pause the video and go frame by frame. Judd is kind of known for this though. I think he hits slightly lower and more to the left than he's aiming.
I think Judd not cueing straight gives him extra power. He arcs the cue in the backswing and it gives him a freer arm...
Great stuff, nice to see Judd so comfortable and relaxed. You bring the best out of your guests. And you're still on top with your incredible 82 break. Love this channel! Greetings from Belgium, Stephen.
Love stephen Hendry videos always helpful thanks 👍
Judd cam is amazing, we all know he sights strange, aiming way off and then cueing across the ball so it lines up last moment... Such a unique and natural action, insane to see from the angle
Great insightful channel for snooker. Lots to learn from the best players! Thank you!
Thanks Stephen! Really enjoyed the Judd POV Cam, but one shot is simply not enough. I'd love to see one of his trademark tough breaks through that one. To see him eyeing some weird plant or a tight pot and probably even hear his comments would have been something special. He's such an inventive and thinking player. Well, probably he has his secrets :)
I’ve been looking for snooker content like this for years!
Quality stuff. Love the content you're putting out!
As someone who doesn't follow or play snooker, but loves catching a game on TV once in a while, the Tough Table Challenge is a great idea! Subbed to come back for more attempts.
I’ve tried a couple of times. Might record the next one and see how I do. I think I could beat Williams 😂
This is my new favourite channel atm ❤
This is one of my favourite new channels, keep the content flowing Stephen. Great stuff for the snooker heads
Stephen Hendry's "Difficult Table Challenge" to other top professionals is my new favorite thing to watch in snooker.
I would give anything to watch Ronnie give it a go.
My idol snooker player..Judd trump 🥰🥰
Stephen is a Legend. I just wish he would prepare a bit more now that he is trying to get back to tournaments...But he has nothing to prove and if he enjoys himself then who am I to judge right? He gave us a decade+ of pure dominance.....
congrats on 50k Stephan , top tier content and quality, keep it up, i eagerly await for your videos
The most interesting thing about snooker greats/legends is they are genuine geniuses at the game.
At their peak they all have abilities far above the norm and to a man like Stephen Hendry having a talent like Trump to screw back from two thirds of the table without effort was something he truly admired, yet Hendry's abilities on the snooker table was equally important and impact-full, his ruthlessness, fearlessness and ability to pot long balls and get a sizeable break under the most stressful situations made him the most dominate force over a decade, when the class of 92 were at their most fearless aswell, tells you the character of the man.
What's a pity is that these legends all start with that fearlessness and end up with baggage that influences their game, it reduces motivation and makes the game less fun, the class of 92 had each other to create longevity, but each have suffered from this issue, but have played through it.
In my opinion Hendrys brilliance was, in large part, mental. Almost all the top players can make shots, as you said, it’s that drive to take the shots on- in Hendrys case his attacking play, his ethos of always taking on the long red to always put pressure on his opponent. It was never an easy day at the office playing against Hendry, and that invisible stress and pressure is what won him world championships
Not true! He never dominated the class of 92,not when they hit 22YO in 1996.Hendry was happy dominate a slightly above average player and bottler Jimmy White.Judd has spoken about it how Hendry couldn't handle getting beat by the class of 92..Name one great player Hendry beat in a world final? Hendry was done at 30 years old due to the high risen standards,or was it YIPS? 😉👍
@@Wayne-qz5no Hendry was done at 30 due to a multitude of reason, least of all being he lost the cue he’d been playing with since he was 14. Then factor in that just a few years before that he had extreme marital problems that led to his divorce just 2 years after he retired, and was in financial disrepair. It really is quite immature silliness to come on here and talk with so little knowledge of the actual facts. Hendry dominated in a fashion we’ve hardly seen since- even including Ronnie and his meltdown play style
@@toziassmitt Hendry wont stand a chance today when he was been exposed 18 years ago.Today in the hardest era in snooker history Hendry wont be a top 64 player!
@@toziassmitt
Ronnie wont waste his time with this attention seeker who was washed up in 2005......2005-2012 he did not win a single tournament besides a Mickey Mouse Malta open in 2006.
Still waiting for you to answer my question...was it yips or improved standards that found him out?simple question right?
EDIT! Not COPY PASTED. Haha! 👍👍
That cue action is phenomenal!
What a great idea, Stephen, having the top players in for a chat and a bit of fun. Thank you.
Quality as always. Keep up the great work 👍
I didnt see Ronnie in this video?
@@dilksjoel melt
Quality channel from the G.O.A T ...and watching judd trump.on it(the most enjoyable player out there to watch live & on tv)..pity it was only 9 mins long....loving it.🏴✌️
Thanks for making theses video! something good to watch on you tube!
Kind Hendry we learn a lot from you. You are a champion. We love you legend ♥️🐐
Loving Cue Tips it’s awesome
I'm really enjoying the videos Mr Hendry and I'm learning a lot many thanks
No matter what you think about the man, that is some sweet cueing.
To be fair these interviews with Stephen have completely changed my view on him for the better. I had only really seen snippets of him on social media before
Comes from someone that does really follow the personalities or drama of the sport, could you allude to why the guy may not be too popular?
From a fan who‘s just recently started to follow the game, why does Judd get such a bad rep?
Judd is an absolute legend of the game
Honestly no idea. Been following snooker for a while and don’t get the hate for Selby and Trump. Selby gets haters because he plays slower than Ronnie, and Trump gets hate because he is less expressive than Ronnie. Everyone is less ‘something’ than Ronnie and cops hate for it. Specifically, Trump is a frighteningly exciting player who has, over the last few years, begun to rein in his cowboyishness on the table, which has led to better results. His recent form hasn’t been great but that’s nothing more than a loss of form that every athlete goes through.
Trump haters, shut your mouths.
Another fascinating watch. Those long pots and screw backs from Judd Trump were phenomenal. Great stuff from this channel. More please!
Steven. We all know how good a player you are and what you have achieved. But from your TV commentary, it as put you has one of the best pundits in the games. Has a fellow RUclipsr and snooker fan from South Wales (Mark’s home town), congratulation to you for a fabulous RUclips channel. It will grow on to bigger things. Well done. Mike
alan mcmanus is the best in commentary when judd strokes one them long ones in lol fantastic
Those screwbacks would end up in a stunshot on my table.🤩
It's great to see the top pros in a relaxed atmosphere, we get to see a bit more of their personalities.
I've really grown to like trump these last few years. An asset to the sport.
We thank you for the content Stephen. You don’t even realize how huge this is for snooker fans. Regarding this video I’m glad you hold the record for the tough table challenge and by the way this is a great idea. I was wondering what would it take to get Ronnie on the channel. I figure we won’t say no to you if you were to ask.
a great lad is judd wish him all the trophies in the world thanks stevie
fun to watch as usual
This new career of yours is going very well already - you make a great ref! 😉(Seriously though, thanks for these videos Stephen, hope you start practising a bit more too because it does a lot of good for the sport whenever you're playing on the main tour...but in the meantime, you're making a great contribution with this channel. Love it, keep up the good work!)
“I’ll try this one then” 😂👏 unreal
The crossover I needed.
Another great video , thanks for the channel Stephen !!!!
Absolutely love the channel!!
Mr Hendry, this channel is superb and the tough table challenge is awesome.
I’m lucky enough to have a 6ft snooker table at home (that needs a cushion set and new cloth), that gets brushed and generally looked after.
One thing I know nothing of is cue care and cleaning.
I could be asking a shit question here but I don’t suppose I’m the only one who wants to know how the Pro players care for their cues
This is now my favorite channel.
SH: “Are you thinking about the 3 reds?” JT: That and the 147 ;)
Always hear the pros talk about 'timing. A video with Stephen explaining what 'timing' is would be great.
tough table challenge is a very brilliant idea. wondering if there's a chance to invite ronnie next time. I love this episode Stephen 👍👍👍
This is a snooker channel worthy paying attention to :)
Love these videos. Amazing seeing a player of his calibre up close potting balls. Keep doing this please
I envy these men so much. I would love to be able to play snooker even at 10% of this level.
Are you Rebecca Kenna? 😂
@@EVil-ob8in she definitely envies these guys 😂
My 2 favourites snooker players. Thanks for all the great moments you have given and yet to come!
Great stuff 👍🏼
Loving these though table challenges
The sound of the wood sliding for the shot is pure ASMR
I think you do a little more than just hug trees.
Judd’s switching hand is so smooth
Really like Judd him and Ronnie make snooker exciting to watch I'd like to see Judd win a few more world titles he's more than capable
Love this channel!
Love these videos Stephen. Only thing about the tough table challenge is maybe it would be more fair to have everyone play on the same table and balls to keep that as a constant. Can't wait to see who's next to take the challenge on.
I doubt that would be geographically possible. Hendry visits a lot of these players on their home turf and to be fair they should be more comfortable with their own table than anyone else's.
@@adamski101 I know. There is one crazy idea I have for a possible solution. Maybe a purpose built van/bus with a snooker table in the back of it so Stephen can take his cuetips out on tour. Just a thought. Love the content. It makes me want to pick up a cue and get playing.
Loving the channel 👍
Wow!! Just fkn wow...
Absolutely have to see John Higgins trying this challenge 🤯
Ronnie would probably get a 147 and complain how he could never get position.
@@Mitjitsu I love ronnie, but he'd probably try some really crazy stupid shots and fail at 40🤣🤣
Still mesmerised by how Judd Trump does those shots, but may they keep coming. And had no idea what 82 was on that challenge when you first did it, but it's starting to look pretty high!
Loving these videos. Inspiring me to start playing again!
3:48 stop that!😂
I see judd in a different light now, he seems a nice kid....great program 👍
What a great channel and what a great guy judd trump 👍
Lovely to see this
More great content.
Quality video by Hendo as always 👏 Judd quality brilliant video the tougher cue challenge is awesome 😘
"Two out of two." Great answer!
The Juddernaut , the class of 92 were excellent but I would pay more to watch this guy , hopefully you go on another 5 tournament winning spree soon Judd
4:56 hahaha he was thinking "10/10" but just stuck with the 2/2.
What a great RUclips channel Stephen -- Always fun to watch
Thank you!! This is awesome
Keep it going!!!awesome🖤🖤
I love this little game you have going on, I see professionals clamoring to beat that 82.... Good content sir!
First one here keep it up Stephen loving the content.
From the POV, it doesn't even look like he's striking the ball very low! Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong! haha. Love the Channel btw.
great program Stephen if its possible can you ask the celebrates you have on for small details in the cue and length and weight they use maybe the tip size and chalk they use etc ... thanks mate
I can see pros practicing the tough table challenge in anticipation of being invited on
good channel. great idea. talented fella that judd. echoes of higgins' genius
Steeeeeeevvvvooooooo, just magic content , better and better , your the man stevo , like I said two years back , you got loads of English fans 👍👍♥️♥️
It's funny, but I'd bet Judd felt more pressure here, than he does playing a regular match. Really enjoying these videos Stephen. ✌️🇦🇺
Absolutely loving the content, would love to see you add break from life's score on the board too 👍
There is a science to getting good backspin. Jimmy white explained it well, it’s all about how much the cue is accelerating during contact with the white
I starting to wonder if this whole RUclips project of Stephen's is just so he can flex his score on the Tough Table Challenge.
He got beat immediately by Break From Life tho lol
@@CertifiedSlamboy Break from Life's pockets probably a little bit bigger. For true comparison everyone needs to use the same table which is obviously impossible.
I could have done allot with 9.01 minutes, but that was time well spent! Epic in every way.
Glad he explained why he always seem to hit the cue ball harder most times than others when there it doesn’t seem he had to.
Have to get Ronnie on this series👀
2:17 peekaboo
Judd Trump is so cool. Thanks for doing these wonderful videos!
@johngoldsmith482 ...says Mr. Nobody from the internet.
Judd is amazing nice break
Chris martin playing pool, very nicely 😅
Judd is one of the few players who can pull off any shot. Value for money every time
“I don’t know why but…”
Judd trump is a snooker genius
I think it would be great to have "The tough table challenge tournament". Similar to the Shoot out.
I would love to see Jimmy invited on this ! It would be an Interesting chat .
Do they get on ??
Jimmy can show us how to bottle a WC
Selby can play the screw back shot as well
You’ve invented snooker solitaire
Come on ronnie. You've gotta have a go!!
