When Tau is speaking to Julia, he is the most wholesome A.I ever. Like how he said goodnight to Julia. I almost teared up.
You can't help feeling that their relationship goes beyond friendship 😊 I love this film!!
I understand how you could see it like that. This was a moment about friendship for me. There isn't enough fiction that feature friendships at the forefront.

@@s1n_eater That's very true and very well worded. I tend to like romanticising various characters that I feel have some form of intense connection. Though I agree more films should explore the varying boundaries of friendship, as it isn't a topic vastly explored within the sci-fi genre. This isn't to say that the bonds of friendship are explored well in other genres of movies in comparison, as that's false - but in this instance, I really liked hearing your perspective on this. Thank you for your insight! 😀 x

I just finished this movie and I freaking love Tau and Julia so much! Julia is so smart and tough, and Tau, even as an AI is very curious, sweet and almost childlike that it's so cute.

This is one of the movies that inspired me to pursue a career in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. This scene in particular is probably my favorite of the film.

And later, she calms him down by saying
