mine would be Ryan Gosling's character "Driver" in the 2011 film "Drive". the movie is surreal and very scorpio-like. Gosling's character is so emotionally complex..it's unlike anything i've seen before. he even wears a cool jacket with a gold scorpion on the back! haha, IMO his character portrays a scorpio rising in the movie...it would be cool if you did a study piece on the film/his character....it's a great insight into the underworld and life of a Plutonion/Scorpio Rising individual

I am ♓ . I have Sun square Pluto and Mars square Pluto in my natal chart. Also Sun conjuct Mars. Just like you said I don't know how to control my intense power. I know something inside of me is so powerful and intimidating but also it's like a curse of me too. When I was a child, my life is really chaotic and full of struggles. I tried so hard to control myself.
14:17 is spot on for my sun conjunct pluto because my dad protected 7-yr old me from a homeless man who grabbed me after I gave him some coins. The event made me realize how vulnerable I can be and it really affected how I dealt with strangers afterward.

I'm sag sun conjunct pluto in 6th house. My pluto is also inconjunct ascendant and square my midheaven. I've struggled with boundaries issues in my teens. The sun with pluto in 6th house pushed me to experiencing other people's traumas to the fullest. Like, I would fail classes in school while my best friend was going through the trial of her stepfather, where she had to testify all of the sexual abuse she faced from him. I was always there for other people, was a shoulder to cry on and very early my innocent view of the world was brutally changed by all of the trauma I've learned my closest friends had to deal with. I also always assume nothing very traumatic ever happened to me and that it was always other people's business I was wrapped up with, but I nearly died when I was 14, when I drank hard alcohol for the first time. I was hospitalized and afterwards had to undergo a trial in family court. Up until then I was always a "good kid", nobody would've expected something like that from me. But the death of both of my grandparents, which I didn't see coming, but very naively so, because my grandma was very ill hit me like a ton of bricks. I never understood what she was actually going through, I just assumed every grandma lays in her bed all day and night, mixes up her grandkids' names and doesn't even speak all that much. Then, my best friend told me her stepdad would rape her and her sister, when they were little kids and had to go through court hearings, where she would be asked about what she was wearing around him, if she ever willingly sat on his lap, is she sexually active with her boyfriend (at 14 wtf), because somehow that would diminish her trauma. Like, I had to go through all of this suddenly and alone, because my mom was so numb after the loos of both of her parents and my sister moved out to go to university (and we slept in one bed since I was born up until then). Then, I got mollested when I had my first kiss, and that sent me into the cycle of reclaiming my power, going out, drinking lots and kissing whomever I wanted. Faced ridicule for it from friends and other kids at school. Like, these are all pluto themed things. Issues of equality and gender were always present with my father. He didn't know how to deal with his kids acting out like that with parties and alcohol (cause my sister also drank a lot), so he was always stern, demanding and controlling. We would frequently argue with him, when he told us to come home before 11 pm, challenged him by saying that if only we were guys, we could get home past 1 am and it wouldn't be an issue, but only because we don't have dicks we magically can't have fun with friends for a little longer lmao. And this issue carried on into high school for me, when people would make fun of me for being easy and kissing all these different people at parties, but even though the ridicule hurt a little, I always felt like I was proving a point by doing this. Girls are no different to boys, and if boys kiss random strangers at parties, then so can girls. I also respect myself very much, thank you, you can respect yourself and kiss someone you don't know, fuck, I wasn't even fucking the people and it was already such an issue damn. So yeah, uncontrollable outbursts of sexuality and darkness (pluto inconjunct ascendant), damaging to public image (pluto square midheaven) with deep need for proving something to the public and claiming my own power through it (sun conjunct pluto)

12 degrees Aries Sun Trine 12 degrees Sagittarius Pluto! I feel this influence very strongly and sometimes forget that the deeper aspects of life are not discussed easily for everyone. It can be difficult to try and tamp down this part of myself. Awesome video Tan!!

I needed to see this. Sun square Pluto and have struggled my whole like to work with this aspect. On performance reviews I've been told how intense and intimidating as well as hard I can be. That I'm a great worker but don't work well with the team. Leaning into my sun in the 11th house would make me more influencial. Great work

Really good insight and thanks for including the inconjunction. I have my sun in cancer inconjunct pluto within 1 degree and mars (2.5 degrees) which are conjunct. I couldn't even finish watching the joker, as it brought up some weird dark feelings in me and I had to leave the room. It's interesting because the reason it made me so uncomfortable is that he reminded me of my past self when I was like 16 (20 now), which was when I was having my pluto conjunct moon transit (which was horrible btw)

Hi there! I have Sun conjunct Pluto[ trine Saturn & opposite my moon. Thank you for your description. What I've learned about Pluto is that the real power within it gets unleashed when I use it not for myself but for people. The thing w Pluto is that I am able to get out of my own way so that I am able to support something much greater than living simply for my selfish desires. I experience my power in creating the "bridge" from my heart to knock down walls between others to give the moment whatever I can to bring people together in a way where they're able to witness and feel the genuine humanity we share.

Wow damn, you really nailed this, Tan! I love that your videos are so informed by your own insight, meditation, and research, and is so grounded in the nature of the aspect. The father themes, trying to control and be tough like the father etc, really ring true.
It's so delicious to be in that seat of power, but when I am outside of it and not exploring the pain of being in the driver's seat, i'm way out of my element - which is tough in relationships. The child subconsciously feels like no matter what it is they try to do in life, they have to do it to the extreme, and that's the imprinting of the father, the extreme of the father. Whatever they decide to do, there's a subconscious sort of programming there already that "it will be the same as the father, it will be as extreme as the father, it will be about getting power from the outside, it will be like proving like the father did" until of course you decondition"
THIS, this made so much sense to my Sun conj Pluto in Sag in the 6th house. Always wanting to the best at anything, always forgetting about what gave me peace and made me happy just to do what I was supposed to in the most perfect way possible. Being perfect and controlling everything in my 6th house would mean nobody could hurt me or judge me. So clear now.
good stuff Tan, loved the message about Peace toward the end :) it's so true...i'm a plutonian individual (scorpio rising/sun/mercury/saturn and 8th house moon) and my whole life has been, in some ways, like what you talk about on each aspect here. i just wish i had realized my 12th house pluto power sooner in life.
my natal sun in scorpio is also conjunct my pluto, a little less than 4 degrees apart...so many ups and downs, tranformations, problems with my father, even drastic changes in appearance (i have an Uranus Rising). i wonder sometimes if i can ever understand or see what a "normal" life would be like or if it's attainable....i guess i need to look to my 7th house Taurus for the answers, huh?!? haha ;) but then again, who says "normal" is normal for me (Uranus rising talking again lol). i clearly wasn't brought here to be "normal" or go with status quo....my chart makes that obvious

@@victory1691 Lots of shadow work. Lots of therapy. A lot of it was about taking my power back and learning to love all of me. I talk openly about my experiences and what are often considered taboo topics to destigmatize them and bring more awareness, like mental health and abuse. I want to help other people see that no matter how strange we may think our situation is, there’s often another person who has gone through it, thought of it, etc. Our darkness isn’t as bad and scary as we think it is.

Personally, I have noticed that I do have power when it comes to helping people when they are going through tough situations (especially break ups - that might be the Libra) by sharing my own experiences and also helping them to see things from a different perspective. Leo sun in 5th house square Scorpio pluto in 8th (Aries rising with all houses in domicile). This was extremely accurate and helpful. I feel like i was already riding the intuition/impulse of choosing between planets, but having it explained concisely made so much sense. I feel, and others have told me, that I have a tendency to swing between very light/easy and very heavy/dark so easily that its intimidating. This is a very hard aspect to integrate if not impossible. I constantly feel sort of like 2 different people simultaneously; its exhausting

Sun in Taurus, Pluto in Scorpio here. They are opposite but not a close opposition. Itäs either a 8 or 9 degree orb. But oh boy is it still packing a punch, I know and am in the process of making both friends and peace with my inner dark side. But making the effort is worth it for my own peace of mind.

My sun (scorpio) is conjunct pluto in scorpio... the 8th house is strong 😂 I also always found Hannibal Lecter fascinating so I'm not surprised to see that there 🙃

@@TanAstrology I don't remember enough of his character to say exactly but my intuition wants to say yes lol. I want to add that I have a deep fascination with the human psychology especially that of criminals or people who do "evil" deeds even though it also makes me uncomfortable and disgusted at the same time.
