I think she/leadership will be a little more effective against Apocalypse and Dracula with all of their healing. Of course Silver Bullet will help force dmg through DR, but being able to shut off healing, imho, is worth more. She is a monster hunter, and wiping out half of all nonplant life is a VERY monster-like thing to do aside from the fact he is a wrecking ball to fight against.
Two great characters, curious to see how much they'll dominate, manthing seems very tier A+ sure he'll find many homes, but Elsa's leadership also might work well with the strong 3 threats for an odd splash in sons, power rich characters like X-23 maybe?
Great overview! I like what Elsa and Man-Thing bring to Midnight Sons. I agree that Elsa and Blade bring different things and shine on different crisis set ups. I think Elsa wants to sit on a back point, so maybe Wong doesn't come in her rosters.
I guess I'll be the first to suggest a SUPER Boom! roster with the likes of Ironman and Gambit. Of course Iron Fist is already affiliated. There is also the Pyro route with Ghost Rider and Man-thing adding to Elsa's incinerate.
She is very much not the new defacto leader for MS. I expect most MS lists to run both Blade and Elsa, choosing between leaderships based on match-ups and crises. The only time you only bring Elsa is if you are really just wanting to play MS as an attrition faction
Best part of the Man-Thing card is that it only says Movement, not move action. So bringing Hulk or Dracula, throwing an enemy into another, them landing outside of 3 only to be teleported back in (potentially)😂
Uh, since you bring up Immortal Hulk and the concept of high-threat characters in her faction who REALLY don't want to be on the receiving end of a Degeneration effect... how does that interact with Ghost Riders Deal with the Devil card?
It would stop him removing damage, but I don’t think it would stop him from targeting a healthy character and coming back on his healthy side but already dazed. Honestly though, I’m not 100% sure, it will be one for the forums I imagine.
@@RichMidGaming Considering this effect is just grievous wounds, I'm surprised it's never come up. Oh wait, here's an interesting thing someones noticed. Immortal Hulk is immune to Degeneration since he only get's the Immortal token AFTER the Activation Phase ends, in the clean-up phase.
Would love to see a video of a Midnight Sons Roster Build for Elsa Bloodstone.
I think elsa has a slightly worse leadership but is a slightly better character. Don't think blade is disappearing any time soon
🔥 content as usual gentleman! I'm looking forward to the NOVA and Yondu breakdown! I know rich loves his guardians as do i, let's gooooo!
I'm super amused by the idea of splashing in Wolverine or X-23, just to give them exploding claws
Elsa Bloodstone being the anti-Thanos tech wasn’t on my bingo card, but it’s nice to have.

@ I’m not just talking about the damage reduction thing, she’s also immune to both Space/Mind stone and his own portal ability

Just to note, BOOM on her leadership says “Each other character” so it can hit friendlies or even the character doing the attack
This is very true and a great catch!

Immortal Hulk removes the damage in the cleanup phase, so he would still remove the damage from Elsa, correct?
He also removes one damage at the end of each activation.
I just bought the Monsters set with Dracula etc. looking forward to the release
I have terrible taste in movies ... and war of the rohirimm is perfectly serviceable. Really selling it there Rich
