The Ones CREATED The Jedi Order? (CANON) | Mortis - Ilum - Lothal Connection

  • On Mortis, Illum and Lothal, we see the symbol of balance that was in the temple of The Father, at the darkside well, it was all over the place on Mortis, and only on Mortis. Until we visit the ancient Jedi site of Illum and Lothal. All three of these sites serve the same purpose, and this connection may point to The Ones being the founders of the Jedi order.

I doubt they made the Jedi order as the three were focused on balance, perhaps they merely created the temples to test those who wish to be more connected to the force (as the force is strong and almost sentient at the temples)

I think the original Jedi and their tenents of balance came from the ones. It makes sense for them to pass that down but over the milenia it got perverted.

We can see that influence on Ahch-To's mosaic of the Prime Jedi, with whoever it was (the Force Priestesses who are actually only one Force Priestess?) being depicted in Daoist fashion, the Light and the Dark in equal measure with a Light hole in the Dark and a Dark hole in the Light. static.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/3/3e/Prime_Jedi.png/revision/latest?cb=20220413031517
In Legends, the original Je'daii were based on a dedication to Balance, but had a schism on the lines of Ashla and Bogan (that wording, literally), over whether to return to using their Force-imbued katanas or to continue use the Rakatan "Forcesaber" technology, the first known lightsaber technology, which drew on the Dark Side for sustained use, after their war with the Rakatan Infinite Empire was won using that technology. Because the two moons of Tython, Ashla and Bogan, violently reacted to someone who was on one side or the other, both sides ultimately had to abandon the world. If we were to bring them into a Canon timeline, the Ashla Je'daii likely migrated to Ahch-To then, hence its title of "birthplace of the Jedi Order."

My logic is that, on their journey to hide themselves away from the Galaxy, the Ones came into contact with other, weaker, force-sensitives who basically became the Ones’ disciples. After the Ones left, my guess is those different groups formed the Jed’ai Order.
Then, after a while, two groups formed; one being allied to the Dark Side, and the other the Light. Thus, the Jedi and Sith came about.

I'd like to see how the hero Freighters were hotted up. The *cost* to do so, and the difficulties in doing so.
Could the Millennium Falcon be reproduced? Maybe even a aftermarket tuning house turning them out…
And what is the best base civilian ship to work on?
There's the various Corellian light Freighters - the YT, the VX and other series.
And then there's Sugi's SS-54 Assault Ship, the model line being incorrectly classed as a light Freighter and never corrected.
If you wanted a killer ship that wasn't military from the start (cause you wanted to keep a low profile or just didn't have the govt connections) what's the best option - both from a final performance standpoint and from a best bang for your buck?
      - For the enterprising bounty hunter or smuggler who hasn't got deep pockets or made that big score yet!

The heart is the crystal of the Jedi.
The Jedi is the crystal of the Force.

I've always thought the Ones had some sort of relationship with the ancient Jedi, but when the Sith came about that was around the same time they retreated from the galaxy and took refuge on Mortis. The Jedi probably learned things from them and revered them as gods maybe, similar to how Bendu was another ancient being who gave Kanan and Ezra advice.

I always figured the symbol was of the force, with the curved part representing the light (or ashla) and the angular and jagged part representing the dark or bogan. If you notice, the symbol has three variations and all three can be seen in the Father’s throne room. One has the light more dominant on the sisters side. The opposite on the sons side, and a balanced version elsewhere.

Interesting. Though we don't have confirmation in canon, we can look at Legends. In Legends, they didn't create the Jedi Order. I'm not as expert on the Jedi history, but I believe the Jedi order was created before the Ones and the celestials disappeared. Potentially they did make contact together. Maybe Canon has them having a lot more interaction

First, the symbol is also seen when Yoda meets the Force Priestesses towards the end of the Clone Wars in the episode “Destiny”, which can fold into your analysis well. Also, note that the symbol is an infinite loop going inward and outward. Wonder if this is a hint at the Whills who exist *inward* and exercise their “will” *outward* from a microbiotic world...they’re like the center of the symbol interacting with the galaxy. Maybe the Ones’ unprecedented ability to wield the Force was an unprecedented relationship with the Whills? Anyway, great stuff.

See 03:03 - It's not the same symbol!
Above the throne of the father there is the symbol you show first, with a rounded cross upright like a + and an spiky cross turned 45° like a × with both shapes of same size so that they both touch the ring that is around it. This seams to be the Force symbol.
But below that there's this tree-like stone monument where there are two medallions: on the left the rounded cross is far larger and contains only a small version of the spiky one, while on the right it's the other way round. These I would assume are the symbols for light and dark, with each respective cross dominating but not ignoring the other one altogether.
And indeed on Illum and Lothal we don't see the symbol of the stained glass window (the Force) but that of the left medallion (the Light) - the spiky dark side cross is very small in the middle.
So I'd say these symbols predate both Jedi and Sith, as probably do the Ones.
Just strange that the distress call that first brought the protagonists to Mortis contained a 2000 year old Jedi code...
EDIT: I literally just googled "Mortis Force Symbols" and there have been many people already observing this and coming to the same conclusion 😅

The father is kinda right about the jedi and sith having an over simplified view on the force. we've seen jedi use dark side powers and vice versa. The way the father sees it, there is no light or dark side. only the force. what you do with it determines your path in life. Maul and Ashoka have shown us that it's possible to use the force for good or evil without being a member of either side.

I feel like the symbol might stand for the light side or the force in general. Notice how at 3:06 the symbol is on the left and a different one is on the right. The structure also looks like a scale(?). So one symbol is for the light side the other for the dark - balance. Then it's always shown on a Jedi temple/structure (ilum and lothal). Lastly the one on Morris from the thumbnail is actually a little different, the spikes are more prominent and bigger, it might be a symbol for the force as a whole.
I don't know if I'm making sense here but to me it's kinda obvious and I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say 🤷‍♂️

Maybe the temples themselves were made as a test of force wielder's abilities with each temple being a bigger challenge to use responsibly- which explains why the change temple on Courscant is just a building but the Sith temple provides challenges (particularly for Sith) to be overcome. The Lothal temple is the most challenging because there's the temptation to misuse it and mess up the timeline.
The Sith temple seemed about teaching cooperation and the Lothal temple taught restraint. Both taught self control.

I did see the symbols mainly in the mortis arc but didn't make the connections in locations mentioned. My focus at time was these " other" type of force users. Cosmic types? I think since Ahsoka was brought back to life and that " Owl" hanging around, will get connected stories during her journey or near her end. She may pull an Obi- Won when he was struck down by Vader in order to train Luke, this time to train Ezra. Just have to stay turned now a sequel for SWR is rumored to be coming out.

the symbol on mortis is actually abit different the symbol near the jedi temples was actually the symbol on the right (our left) of the father's thone with the other part of the mortis window symbol being on the otherside of the thorne which makes sense as the 2 symbols are the light and dark and the jedi are the light
in fact the symbols in general seem to be made up of 2 parts the spiky cross and the rounded bit and the differances between them is just which part is bigger and in the forground so that maybe a way of showing a connection to a side but as yin and yang tells us there's always a part of one within the other

I think the ones are the first force sensitives and that the daughter helped create the Jedi and was originally a member and that the son was the one to create the sith to balance the force and the father was to see the balance in the force to see both sides not to be to powerful or weak but the father probably made the temples for those who have the force to learn and over come challenges but when the father the daughter and son left the Jedi claimed the temples as there own temples and the sith made there own it would make sense if the they made both the Jedi and sith.

The one in Ilum is the Light Symbol. Then with the Lothal one I put the video in HD to see it better, and it looks like the Father/Balance symbol... I'm not sure... But I guess it could make sense, I still remember that time the two Inquisitors also opened it even though they were darkside users.

6:39, maybe not destroy the force so much as destroy the boundaries holding force users back from their fullest potential. This being the galaxies view on the force, and how one must use pure light or pure dark side force power. Despite what many people believe, Ashoka is not a grey Jedi, but a prime Jedi. She does not view the force as light or dark, but simply is. In this case, Ashoka is the first force user... well, ever to have unlocked this sense of the force. This may be why the daughter stuck with Ashoka, so as to guide her to this realization, in hopes that one day Ahsoka may spread these teachings to other force users, and demolish the barrier that holds all jedi (and with) back. (This comment actually has quite a lot to do with my fan fiction the house of djarin, which is currently in development)

(Legends aka truth) The Ones created the Tho Yor and Tython (and its moons) taking force sensitives there to teach them balance and avoid repeating the failure with the Kwa and Rakata. Later this influence would be shown in Jeed'aii sites at some of their earliest settlements in the broader galaxy...most of which would go to the jedi as the ones who would become the sith were on their way to Korriban at that time.

I mean technically there has been more than one chosen one through out eternity bc the force needed to be kept in balanced so the father could be a force user with more jedi traditions ,but is ultimately in the middle like the bendu is or what qui gon believed in.

There are two different symbols. One for the LIGHT side and the other for the DARK side. *_If you look closely,_*
#FIRST you'll see *on the floor of the Ilum temple* is the LIGHT side one... *_it has the sharp/jagged edges (BOGAN) symbol within the cloudy/bubbly one (ASHLA)._*
#SECOND you'll see on the *floor of the bottom of Mortis where the lava was,* is the DARK side one... *_It has the cloudy/bubbly symbol (ASHLA) WITHIN the sharp/jagged edges (BOGAN) symbol._*
They are the symbols for the ASHLA and BOGAN... where ONE IS WITHIN THE OTHER. Just like the #YINYANG

I think Jedi & Sith are supposed to coexist. One cannot exist without the other: If there is Light, there must also be Darkness; If there is Darkness, there must also be Light; But Together, there is Balance, Shadow (Grey). Jedi should only be the Peacekeepers, Mediators, and Creators of the Galaxy, while the Sith should learn to become the Enforcers, Authoritarians, and Destroyers (Of things that are actually "Evil" and logically need to be killed because what "it" is poses a threat to The Force and/or The Galaxy as a Whole) of the Galaxy. Finally, a new Order in the Middle, The Grey Order or Revanist/Revanite to Uphold, Maintain, and Preserve Balance. But as long as Jedi and Sith continue to fight without actually seeking true Balance, The Force will ultimately and continuously Will towards Conflict to obtain Peace because there is no Resolution

Андрей Шурочка the force Priest have more to do with the cosmic force it’s self, while the ones are actual mortal beings. The force Priests are immortal, as they told yoda. (It’s likely they have always been immortal and were never physical beings) the priests represent the cosmic force and the ones, the living force (hypothetically, not confirmed) but both are equally important

Still dont buy into the concept so many fans seem to buy as gospel, that the lightsaber works via the force..
They have buttons. They turn on. They once had bulky backpack level power sources, now smaller as most tech progresses.
Most telling, they can, and often are used by non-force users. The button needs to be depressed the entire time while in use, hence only a jedi being able to throw a lit saber (using the force to keep the button pressed), while if dropped or incapacitated, it goes out.
NOTHING in the original movies, or even the prequels even vaguely suggests they work via the force. Nothing at all. Just that they are dangerous, and only the very skilled can safely use one.
The whole idea of sabers being force based weapons, as opposed to the contradictory evidence of the movies, makes it sound like fanfic.
    Or religion.

Papaltine refers to the Ones as the "Mortis Gods" in a dismissive way.
I think the Ones taught the ways of the Force to young species in the Galaxy but (probably because they were young and primitive) they worshipped the Ones instead of learning properly from them.
Maybe there was a situation where the young Jedi worshipped the Light, the Sith worshipped the Dark and the Ones left because their presence was keeping both sides from exploring the balance between the two...

I think these animators were just lazy...
Remember, the same people made a whole (multi-episode) story arc about Mon-Calamari having like 100 inhabitants
They animated water tubes... under the water.... for the Mon Calamari to swim through. A shark is “killed” when one of the tubes gets broken apart, because to these creators, water has more gravity when outside a tube, enough gravity to drown a water breathing creature...
    Seriously, wtf Filoni...
