    3:18 perfect example of a hotshot not knowing the rules of the road. You move over for disabled vehicles on the shoulder. The fact that then they try to pass the Fed-Ex wiggle wagon is even more evidence that you will never have the skill to drive a real commercial vehicle.

    3:40 the trucker didn’t do anything wrong. He moved over for the car on the side of the road and moved back over after. You didn’t move over for the car on the side of the road! ALL 50 states have the move over law!

    3:19 Perfect example of the cammer not paying attention. FedEx moved over just for the car on the shoulder, not for you to pass it on the right side. If you moved over too, which you should have, there would be no video to upload.

      so will it kill to slow down? where's the fire? everyone is a big hurry that safety is no longer the priority. you would have been delayed for no more than 30 seconds to get over and follow FedEx and do what you are suppose to do, if that 30 second was going make you late than you need to learn better time management, seriously you were in the wrong and you tried to paint it like it was all FedEx being the moron when in fact you was and never pass a truck on the right, Just Slow Down

      I'm sure when I drove in the US the rule is, move over OR slow down. But yes the car was transfixed by the truck and not looking ahead. Something I learnt on defensive driving course.

      @@TheByard You slow down only when you physically can't move over. Move over is rule #1, but if you have someone beside you then you have to slow down... and if it's a cop on the shoulder, you better slow WAY down, cuz he'll come after you if he feels like you went by too fast.

    • @Brian-bc8ds
      @Brian-bc8ds 29 дней назад +2

      @@TheByard Depends on the state. In some areas it's move over OR slow down, in some areas it's slow down AND move over (if possible). Intelligent drivers take into consideration what is going on. If there are only two lanes in each direction, intelligent drivers will slow down AND move over. There could be debris on the road, people outside of their vehicle, etc. If there are 3+ lanes, it makes sense to keep traffic moving AWAY FROM an incident, but it doesn't hurt to slow down a bit as you don't want a high differential of speed between an adjacent lane.

    Regarding the part with daytime running lights, given how often people drive at night without them, the auto manufacturers should alter how they work. Just make them low-level headlights, with the rear lights on full. Or have a light sensor that automatically switches from DRL to regular headlights when it's dark. Or just get rid of them altogether.

    • @terrystratford1235
      @terrystratford1235 Месяц назад +1

      I have a 2021 africa twin. I can either have the DLR on, which automatically switch to headlights when dusk, or just headlights on! The rear light comes on with either setting! The tft screen has an auto dark mode, so at ngt you don't have a bright white screen! Sat nav also has auto dark mode! With cars, I think the dash instruments should only illuminate when lights(not DLR) are on!

      And I agree about the dash lights not being on unless the full headlights are on. I can also see where that might be an issue for safety in very specific cases. But at least then the driver would/should know instantly that their lights aren't on.

Everyone swerving to miss them. Then they need to pass everyone like idiots. It's beyond me to understand. If they want to pass everyone, why not take advantage of a lane that was designed to allow you to get up to speed before driving like a crazy maniac.
    I have a bit of advice for people... a different subject I know, but if you set your alarm clock just 5 minutes earlier, you can get on the road with ample amount of time to get to work without having to put everyone else's life and property in danger.
