There is lot of changes in me after performing this pooja.It is now 84 days chanting 1008 times a day offering pooja both home and visiting lord shiva temple daily offering one flower without fail.I really glad i visited unexpectedly godess temples in few areas on my way ..as( she offered me with fruit,bindhi with bangles by the devotees.)....also performed kunkumarchana :)hope will do next completion of my 108 day of pooja with good result.. of my marriage with good and strong person.

I never stop fast on monday and shiv pooja..till now
It is good. No harm. When you are intaking the mantra vibration you inner power (Kundali power) might have raisen. This would shake the body. This will happen to the persons who are more concentrated and near to the God. You can start recite the mantra inside instead of chanting open voice. Have certain number of recitation of Mantra daily. When you are near to the God be more responsible and speak to the God openly how your life should be and plan ahead. Best wishes.
You are so correct that when listening to this mantra the body after a while will begin to move left right or front and back.. i see it as energy
You have to recite on your own. The mind should vibrate without interruption (like a oil pours from the top to bottom). This vibration will reach the god and turn the God towards us. Japa is also called Tapas. Tapas means Agni (Fire). This heat will get generated from Kundalini when you sit and continuously recite. Further whenever we are sitting and doing there is a creation of upward triangle which will attract more cosmic force inside us and easily transfers our wishes and

You may skip the japa during periods . But in the mind you can be reciting the mantra . No problem. When blood connection is made with the mantra japa the matra will tend to produce negativity . This is the reason for this exception. This is applicable to men also . If men is having any bleending wound the japa should be avoided. After healing the would they may do the japa.

@MsToledo80 Just for the sake of worshipping also this mantra can be recited if you are not doing for a specific reason. It would provide you attraction force and team leading ability. Whether you are listening or reciting you would get the same result. When you listening with full concentration the mind automatically generates the Mantra vibration.

This is the right of every creature in this universe. If there is a delay the mind and soul are having a pain and feeling distressed. Dear Venu send your mail id will forward mp3. Start on Tuesday / Friday early morning before 7.am or start after 6.30 pm evening. Deeparadana means lit a ghee lamp and show before the god in clock wise round manner . Nivedyam means offering pure eatables food/fruits/Milk/honey etc to the god. These are just done to receive the present God in a proper way as we give respect to our guests to our house. Reciting in heart will produce more quick result. But need more concentration re recite inmind

This mantra one of my friend cum astrologist told me to recite it on Wednesday’s and hv to visit the near by Parvathi temple and lit 5 lamp with ghee for my marriage and he also warned me to ask for what I exactly want meaning. Lik if we pray I want a person whom I lik so much that simply means u will lik that person but that person might not lik u so pray for what u exactly want. Such a partner will get automatically get attracted towards you. So believe in Durga and pray and she will define grant u what ever u wish. Such a powerful one! My own experience

Sindhuja Reddy nothing specific, on Wednesday u hv to say it fro 108 times and keep 5 ghee lamp in Durga temple. I usually hear and recite the mantra a long with this RUclips in the morning and go and light 5 ghee lamp in the evening. No hard and fast rule, just believe strongly and pray.

You can do this japa too. When somwar fast is regular one in your life you need not worry. Including monday you can do the japa.

Swaha is part of this mantra. This should not be replaced with Namaha. Whenever you are having swaha in a mantra while doing aahuthi you have to add one more swaha in dheerga swara. I can provide you another example if you take Ganapathi moola mantra it is having swaha as part of it. There also you should not change with namaha. One more swaha to be added while doing aahuthi.
@gragonfly13 We cannot take a literal meaning of the words in the mantra. Astrologically the ascendant is called the native the 7th place from lagna is called their soul mate. If we call the ascendant as sunrise the 7th place is called sunset.

You can do 1008 times if you are having enough time. Not an issue. Minimum 108 you should do. what ever you are doing make it consistent over 48 days. If you are having already accumulated good divine power in your earlier births you would get the result soon. Otherwise it would take some more time with more countings like a lamp needs certain voltage to give light. But with more love & devotion you can reduce the resulting time.
Sir. You told without break we should chant for 48 days without break. So could you please tell me if ladies can chant this during their menstruation time. Please reply.

You have to atleast try read mantra with audio..if you are struggling with sanskrit. Otherwise your mind cannot vibrate what you want to.

Based on your time availability decide the number of times. If you want to be vigorous take 1008 . The logic is when continuously you are praying the vibrated heat energy will travel more in the universe and find the correct answer to your prayer soon. Ultimately devotion and concentration is more important. Belive these words and proceed. Any counting proceedure is ok. Japa mala is good . During menstrual cycle you can recite the mantra in your mind. Japa you can avoid.

If you are not having an earnest and sincere feeling due to discontinuity after telling to the God you can restart for another 48 days. To acheive anything you have to concentrate for a certain period. It is between your Father (God) and you. It is a matter of love between yourself and God.
