    I think that's the time I met you, when I got a set of these. Wish I still had that Bike, but I'm considering another.

    I got to get this kit for my 2005 GL1800. This is the coolest Safety kit item that I have seen, that is a must have on my list. Thanks for posting...

    hey guys this was installed on my 2012 Goldwing a few days before Christmas. They are great in two ways, one, is the light blue glare really is easy on your eyes, day or night. No more headlights blinding you as you look in the rear to change lanes. Secondly, the big bright turn arrow, really lets other drivers know that you are about to change lanes.All bikes that tour or use as main transportation should have these.

    I did the install and found that it is easier to snake that mirror wire to the back side of the housing, not by trying to go through that little hole that the instructions that come with the mirror mentions, but to just pop out the black plastic insert between the turn signal lamp and the inboard side of the mirror housing.

    Who sells the mirrors? I installed the taillight kit on my 2004 Wing. All I can say is WOW.
    I also installed the headlight LED strip. Very nice touch. Thank you for the how to videos

    Unfortunately they have changed their harness - it now comes with a double adaptor from Kuryakyn so there is a LOT of plastic to fit in a very tight space :(

    Do you need to change the flasher in the Goldwing in for these new LED mirrors?

    Can you use these with the SoCalMotoGear Dynamic Sequential led turn signals?

    My 2005 had these but mine could not be removed from the locks. Is there way to do this that you are aware of?

    I put these on my 2015 GL1800. I ran into what the video warns about. On my left side mirror the bottom screw was basically welded on and after getting it part way out the screw head stripped. What a stupid design. Luckily Honda put a slot not a hole. So pulling firmly on the right side of the old mirror I was able to pop it out. So that’s a tip if you run into same problem. I was almost ready to just smash the old mirror and plastic until I noticed the screw was half way out and it was in a slot. Be very careful with those screws!

    When you do strip the screw, how do you get it out? Yes... I stripped the crap out of it.

      Funny you should ask, I did the same thing on my 2007. I worked on getting the damn thing out for half a day. I tried the Eze-Out bits, but working from underneath, I could never get enough leverage, all it did was completely shred the screw head. I finally ended up cutting a slot in what remained of the head and used a flat head screw driver to break it loose. I can't remember how I cut the slot, but I am sure that is how I did it.

      Thanks for the response. Not sure what I'm going to do. Might just take it to the shop and add that to having my new tires mounted.

      Adam, I almost gave up myself. I think I just got lucky. It is a really poor design. I know that it really helps to strike the screw firmly with a screwdriver and hammer before trying to loosen the screw, but that does not help you now. Can you email me a photo of the screw head? info@cruisemansgarage.com

      I’m a bit surprised that no one here realizes that the screws on a goldwing, and all Japanese motorcycles as far as I know, are JIS standard, not Phillips. They strip because the Philip’s head is designed to do that and it’s a slightly different shape from JIS. Solution is to use a JIS (think it means Japanese Industrial Standard) screwdriver. I got mine from amazon.

      See my public reply. The screw is in a slot. So if you got it part way out tug on the inner top of the mirror to pop the screw out of slot. If the screw is still too tight it won’t come out. Then since the mirror is glass and plastic, just smash, drill holes whatever it takes....

    I know you got the Amber led that illuminates with your turn signal, but do they both turn Red when applying the brake? I saw a video where they did that but wasnt sure if it was this Muth product.

    • @cruisemansgarage
      @cruisemansgarage  5 лет назад

      No, they are not impacted by the brakes at all.

    Hello My question is about the front fender which is damaged my bike is 2012 goldwing can I use 2007 or 2008 is it all the same

    • @cruisemansgarage
      @cruisemansgarage  5 лет назад

      While they might be interchangeable, I cannot confirm because the Honda part numbers are different for the 2012 front fender from the 2007.
