I think he might be denied entry. As the issue for him started when he was not able to answer the name of his school. The worst thing to happen to you is being nervous while been interviewed or trying to play smart. On your letter of explanation whatever is there is what you are supposed to answer and not what you feel like

Is it the same as Statement of Purpose you used for the school admission or letter of explanation you used for VISA application?

They are two different things
And yes it an explanation
Statement of purpose is the letter you write and submit with your application While letter of introduction sent to your portal by IRCC showing that ur application has been approved.
Oh! I see. Also, do you used the same SOP for both school and visa applications? And what differentiate it from cover letter?

That's the more reason they want TIES. You must have a Landed property in your country that will make you to go back and start managing after your school. You must have a family in Nigeria with their pictures that's also a TIE cos you would want to go back after your studies to meet with them😂😂😂.

The rule of the immigration says that you must not travel more than 4 wks before your sch resume. How were you able to travel more than 4 weeks?
By giving them a good reason why u came in early.

Would have been shorter but there was an ongoing strike so it took that long
I meant duration, did it take up to 2 months

Becoz I have heard of cases that u will be asked to make payment right in front of d immigration before ur permit will be given.
