I am Nigerian, Nigerians LOVE stock fish. Do you eat the bone and skin (I know you said your children don't like the skin)?

I eat the bones as for the skin it depending on what you cook

Most places in the northern Midwest have it. Any town filled with tall white people with blond hair, blue eyes and unpronouncable last names sells this.

@ajshousenorway289 I am Norwegian, I grew up eating stock fish and luttafisk. It is our cultural food for thousands of years. It's what the Germans who conquered Rome ate thousands of years ago, it's what the Vikings ate when they conquered the known world a thousand years ago and it is what the (related by conquest) British navy ate when they conquered the entire world. You can only find it in places where Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish people moved to America hundreds of years ago

It has been banned from import in Nigeria to save on foreign exchange reserves. Even though it is Norway’s number one exporting country for stockfish.

Ok wow i had no idea that it has been banned. But anyway thanks for watching and commenting🙂

It's easier to remove the skin straight off the fish when it is dry. Use a pair of pliers and pull it off.

They should just rename the Norwegian Stockfish Magnus at this point.
