Like any of the other that ran against him would have done better. Baltimore has bad politicians and because they're all crooked, they're not going to arrest/punish their voter base. This is why I stay out of the City.

I'm wondering what this curfew is for if there are no consequences for violating it. Why even have cops or whoever checking for curfew breakers, if the only thing they can do is tell the thug to go home or if they want a ride to a youth center? Why even spend the money on a youth center these thugs don't use? What a waste of time and money! This only reenforces the truth that juveniles in Baltimore City can do whatever they way!

Last week the Mayor said the juveniles were being "Criminalized" because they're Black. Maybe he can reach back into his playbook and use the approach he tried on the squeegee kids, telling them, the city will pay you not to, some would say, extort people at intersections.

The only way to motivate some out of control youths to subject them to a certain amount of discomfort. Discomfort their parent(s) never applied when they were younger. Trying to reason with them doesn't work because they're incapable of taking responsibility for their feelings.
