    This video is so satisfying i love the iron lion motor the 304 5L is the best sounding holden motor. Well done. I wish i could do this i would love to rebuild my 304 5L in my wagon. Keep up the amazing content 😎🍻

    I found this vid on my for u Page and I’m doing up my vq with the 304 iron lion but I haven’t googled anything also they sound sick with a lumpy cam

    push the lifters down from the top so as not to score the lifter bore if you have the camshaft out.

      I could have. The varnish was so bad didnt seem to make a difference which way i pushed them.

    What thread is the bolt in the end of the crank snout?

      Fine thread. Size i dont know. I put the engine together almost 2 years ago.
