@@GrantsPassTVRepair How about a drive up to the caves, or the road that runs along the river in Selma past John Wayne's cabin or a drive up to one of the fire lookout stations?
@@jackoneil3933 I wouldn't mind if I get a service call out that way, but I think some of the side roads of Merlin Galice Road would be nice. Especially if I bring a raft.
Nice drive Dave! Thanks for this I very much enjoyed it. The Camera on the top of the vehicle and natural audio provides a unique and relaxing perspective that could be a genre deserving of it's own channel "Driving Southern Oregon". How did you prevent all the wind noise? A sunshade might help the sun flare and if you had a remote gimbal to rotate and zoom the camera would be nice as well. I saw a channel from a guy in Japan who mounted a Cinema camera on a gimbal on the hood of his car and drove around Nagoya and Osaka with classy and classic Japanese pop music. It was quite mesmerizing, and you've inspired me to try to do similar with a 4k cinema camera and try to do a wind-proof stereo mic that can capture natural sounds like you have here without the wind noise.
I think the driving videos are interesting to people. I posted a dashcam video of me driving through the restricted fire area during the Taylor Creek fire and it got 50,000 views on Facebook.
@@GrantsPassTVRepair do your drives on a different channel but list it as another one of your channels on your main channel and you can put in little promos talking about your other channel. "If you want to see videos of drives around the Southern Oregon area click here"
Nope, no texting while driving that road. Hell, I wouldn't answer a Bluetooth call while driving that road. We have steep ravines in Southwest Mississippi; but, they are dirt/gravel roads and you generally don't drive over 15 mph.
love driving through here
Beautiful parts of Oregon i have never gotten to see. thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous!
Sure is!
Well that was way cool, Dave. Thanks!
Your welcome John.
All that green is very encouraging this time of year.
I could sure see the devastation from the previous fires.
That was spectacular. Thank you.
Your welcome. ;-)
Onion Mtn? Service call way up there?
Yes sir, I drove a bit beyond the guys home.
Fun! Where ya' taking us next? ☺
I'm still trying to figure that out. Any suggestions?
Indeed! More drives please!

@@jackoneil3933 I'm going to find a better a more scenic area, such as Galice. I just purchased a gopro. Any suggestions for frame rate?

Wow. I lose a few subscribers when I go off topic, but I guess you can't please everyone.

@@mikeonmicshow Sounds like a good idea.
Just a random cosmic reminder for you that you should probably take a daytrip to go soak at Toketee hotsprings.
Is it a one way road? It looks lovely! Thanks for such view. *Edit* : At 0:41 I got the answer.

Now I am sure your video can be used to multiplex any song ppl had liked. As it seems, you're an outdoor man. Thanks, twice.
Is the camera mounted up really high? Looks like it. Nice view
I used a gopro camera on a selfi stick through my sun roof.
