Remember when everyone and their mother had Pollard as the biggest sleeper of the 2023 fantasy season, man it’s funny how wrong literally everyone can be
I’m so glad I stuck with my Gut and took Lamb and AJ Brown over him at the 12/13 picks. I wasn’t big in Pollard but slowly leaned into him with the hype just ultimately couldn’t fully buy in.
People often forget to account for serious injury. It makes sense, people would rather have optimism that a guy will play well. Kind of a sad reality most players stink after an injury like that.
This is definitely true. Ekler has been a very consistent ppr back so far this year and pollard has had some boom to bust weeks that make him worth a spot.
I drafted Ridley and Lawrence last season.. Ridley was a little inconsistent, but my GOD was Lawrence awful. Levis might not be "better" but he does sling it. I think Ridley is going to be a good pickup this year in the 7th or 8th Rd
Calvin Ridley had more target competition in Jacksonville where he was WR2 against Kirk, Evan Engram and Zay Jones. Now he’s the WR1 on a team that’s going to be throwing a lot
Now he has to share targets with deandre hopkins, tyler boyd, treylon burks and chig okonkwo. I fail to see how thats better than the situation in Jacksonville, especially considering zay and kirk were both injured for good stretches of the season. There's no shot you think hes gonna have less target competition in Tennessee.
@@shawneuro1944yea. Funny how people will pick Ekeler pick 3 and cry when he doesn’t put up 3rd pick stats. But now that he only has to put up pick 100 stats no one wants him. Easy pick. Then he’ll ball out and next year people will be fighting for him round 1.
Ridley (where he is being drafted) is a good pick No more Henry, new head coach, he has less competition not more? Shitty offense means losing which means passing Not seeing the downfall in drafting him as your flex or wr2 if you have good supporting cast
He’s not saying he’s a bad qb. He’s saying that he’s lost all of his weapons and harbaugh is leaning more towards a rush heavy offense. Meaning that herbert’s attempts, completions, yards, etc is most likely going to decrease causing his fantasy value to decrease as well.
Yeah but he's not hitting the mark. That's how I feel about Trevor Lawrence, I honestly think he's the 2nd best QB behind Mahomes and everybody says he has weapons but he really doesn't besides Etienne, it's all Lawrence, jays talk about it. Engram was cut by the Giants, Kirk by the Cards and Zay Jones was trash. Put Lawrence on the Eagles, 48ERS, Bill's, Bengals, he would have won a chip, not to mention he's like 24/25.
Yep. Isn’t it funny how all these experts didn’t want anything to do with Kyren Williams or puka Nacua. Now those will be their 2 most rostered players while saying guys like Ekeler and Herbert aren’t draft worthy 🤣
Nah Calvin Ridley is like wr30 but they’ll get a better o line and will probably pass more without Derrick Henry. Will Levis will be better this year from his rookie season and dhop is washed. Also so many TDs Calvin Ridley barely missed last season.
Idk man. This is a prime risk of HIGH risk high reward but you gotta understand the gamble side. It’s like betting on Russell Wilson have a prime year again like his Seahawks days but that’s a toss up.
I wouldn't put it past the chargers to trade Herbert to the vikings for those picks and then select a QB with their first pick and WR's with one or both of the vikings picks.
I can understand the Pollard choice, but did you really bring up Calvin Ridley and LAST YEAR'S Titans offense? That was a Derrick Henry offense. Their new offense and coaches are night and day from that, and want to throw the ball.
Herbert is going outside the top 12 qbs. I think around 15. There’s no way he’s not reaching that low bars. How about some players going off the board in earlier rounds where avoiding the player can really have impact?
You’re looking at it the wrong way with Calvin. Levis is a downgrade as a passer, but TEN is gonna have a dynamic running game with a mobile QB and Calvin will no longer be forced into the three-down X guy he struggled in last year.
You said the Commanders offense could struggle with a rookie QB? LOL! I hope you made this video PRIOR to watching him play, and Pollard was injured last year, I LIVE Pollard and Ridley ADP, the Titans are going to have a good offense this year.
I think that Calvin Ridley stock should go down but not fall off a cliff. He was doing much better when there were receivers that could take pressure off him and if the Titan get Joe alt will levis will have a good amount of time in the pocket
The biggest problem the Chargers have is a shitty coach in Harbaugh and equally as bad is his oc Roman. They were successful the first year in the league due to gimmick college plays and an excellent defense. That team is going to suck
Trevor Lawrence to Will Levis comment didn’t hit how you probably thought it would… other than experience I don’t see the two terribly far apart in talent.
Ridkey is going to have an awesome year, hes still young enough and super talented, levis is going to throw downfield all the time, and tyke tolbert is one of the best we coaches in the nfl, per steve smith. Plus his adp is affordable.
don’t listen to this guy draft Calvin Ridley he is going to go off in this new offense with Brian Callahan and everyone is sleeping on them even tho they had the best offseason this year and made many moves just wait🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻
Everyone hating on Herbert as if he isn’t a Payton manning clone (makes his team better then they actually are) And his WR 1 not having hands isn’t true cuz Quinton will be splitting time as X receiver with DJ Chark and our WR 1 is Palmer who is an underrated receiver not because he is bad, but Becuase he sat behind Allen and Williams… so not his fault
Justin Herbert just got Ladd McConkey and Brenden Rice. Both young great wide receivers. Plus he will have extra time to throw since he has Joe Alt protecting him
Goes against how I pick. Ekeler is no less likely to put up 300fp than Mcaffery. And Herbert is going along side bum QBs his upside is far greater than most of them at his price. You probably gobble up puka Nacua and Kyren Williams tho even tho I bet 0% of your fantasy lineups had them in it last year.
Pollard sucked last year he had one good season when Zeke was still there and the second he got the starting job he underperformed. And the cowboys like to throw the ball anyway
Agreed except Ridley. His ADP is pretty low and he'll probably line up more at as the Z as opposed to the X and him and Lawrence were never really on the same page anyways
You can’t say Trevor Lawrence is better than Will Levis yet Levis didn’t even start a whole year yet and Trevor is not the guy the jags needed him to be
If they manages to get Alt at 7 their offense is pretty good. Levis is still very young and has ton of potential, great receivers, upgraded o line and I like Spears a lot
I feel for Spears he could of handled the carry for titans.. Henry leaves now he's splitting carriers with a Austin who lets be honest Austin is 10 -12 carries a game kinda guy
Cavin Ridley going to TEN is a good move in my opinion. New offense with a throw first mentality and a below average defense will mean more points. Having hopkins will also help keep defenses honest not to mention Ridley is the WR1 of his team.
