Well, I play mahjong... real mahjong & not the simple tiles matching game... & I play to win but when I heard her explanation about creating order out of chaos, wow, that was indeed deep. Major props to her! 👍👏

Real mahjong is u put 1 foot on the chair u sit. Super relax. Talking shit. Smoking is good. Cursing a lot. Bet with money. Small amount is ok. When other player screws up ur game, just curse and nag how can u throw this tile out? Blah blah. I am amazed by the elegant playing style of western people. Normally I despise people keen on mahjong.

Mahjong is beyond just a game, you can actually tell a person's personality when you are playing it. As Chinese, it is one of my favorite game to have, it is a good practice in many ways.

She's 51 and I think she looks great! Everyone ages. As for the dress, when she first came out, I thought unusual weird color dress. BUT she mention it was her Xmas dress. Suddenly it made sense and was appropriate.
Edwina Godwin She does look great, but her hair looks like it hasn’t seen a brush all day, or been washed, frankly. Love her acting, but unkempt is the only word that comes to mind regarding her appearance on this interview.

I knew it was Christmas but still it was the ugliest ever.
She looks amazing for 51. But as the meat and potatoes of the video suggest, what it all boils down to is that it's largely because how successful she is at managing the stresses that come with her profession. Be it emotional, psychological, environmental, financial, or sociological, the fact remains: stress ages people significantly and can actually magnify the effects of bad habits that a person has been involved in prior to the spikes in stress.
I dont know why every single video i watch about her there's ALWAYS a comment about ageing...🤦🏼♀️ oh god...the many hardships of being a woman 🙄🙄

yay for mahjong! the game is a good mix of chance and strategy, and it's extra nice to play with antique bamboo/ivory stones. (our set isn't ivory though). i learnt my first kanji through our mahjong set :-)

It is interesting to see how people react to Mahjong. I thought Mahjong is a game that excites my whole family and the whole room would turn into some blast for the entire afternoon and night for every weekend in my childhood. But it is very interesting to see Julia chose another direction to view the game. Have fun!
I want to play that kind of mahjong...the ones I used to play is a hellist kind, where the players think nothing but bets, booze and winning. I for one, tried to look for sustance: the enjoyment of playing the game, which as Julia says, is supposed to be relaxing and can actually relate to life. Of course, I always lost but that was ok, I was a trophy wife then. I stopped playing and got divorce and now leaving a fun life. Madjong is after all, a game, probably like life, where you need to relax and enjoy it..... Thank you.
