Microscopes are for hounds, not just nerds! Those microscope pics were lovely, seeing the different materials never gets old! You guys were having way too much fun. Thanks for bringing us along for the good time. Cheers!
Your videos always amaze me, the material is second to none with beauty.... I'm going to have to send you some agate that is only found in central Oregon in one small area. People walk over it and (or) don't want it, because it looks so boring . Hahahaha I know what's inside of them and some of it will just blow your mind!!
Thank you so much!😄 that truly means a lot my friend! And i would happily accept some agates! Oddball agates are something ill never turn my nose up at😂 i still need to pack up a box for you as well!
WOW, EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME! That microscope is epic! Thanks Montana Rock Mom for letting Theo play! Why do you get all the great rocks? Thanks for sharing! Oh I loved the tree!
Hi Alexis! 😄 Thank you for letting Theo feed Drogon while you were at work. He really chowed down on some amazing rocks. Thank goodness he leaves the bones for us to look at.
Absolutely beautiful, the microscope shots and the slabs! You three really crack me up! There's no better way to work on your rocks than with a friend having a blast. I love that Alexis is always messing with you, I do that to my husband still and we've been married for almost 28 years. Thank you for sharing the beauty and the fun!✌🤠
It was just way too much fun!😄 i actually wasnt even planning on recording but we were having such a blast i figured it needed to find its way into a video🤣
Wow, love all the colors, closeups off the banding, just beautiful. I love the plant love and bugs inside the rocks that is the coolest rock I've ever seen, wow, amazing!
Right!? I absolutely could not believe that spider and the termite in amber!😁 the spider is about half the size of a pinhead so seeing it like that was just mind blowing😱 thanks so much for watching!
Hiya Theo, hey I get the real beauty of checking out stones from the microscope because I do it all the time. You can see all the things that no one will ever see, I call it.....beaut- a- must, now jam that word together and, you have it in a nut shell. Lol awesome video, awesome gemstones, and awesome people. ( it don't get no better than this!) It's what we say in Cajun County. I hope you have a awesome blessed day! Cya! 😺🐟 out!
Hello Theo, that was quite amazing, some of the details that show up under the microscope are quite exquisite, truly stunning. Thank you to MRM for cutting as well, Bit lost for which one I think is more stunning. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Absolutely!😄 it was really amazing to see those things up close like that! Ive definitely never gotten to see my stones that close before!😁 thanks so much for watching!
A great video, I always enjoy looking at my specimens under my digital microscope. There are always some details that it picks up that I didn't notice before hand.
It is some incredible stuff😄 and a joy to work with when you can find some nice stable pieces; it really likes to fray unfortunately. Thanks so much for watching!😄
Isn't it amazing the wonderful friends you make through rock collecting? And those colors and fibers and swirls and pipes and moss plumes and flashes were a world in themselves. Thanks for making me excited for this next season of rock pickin'. Kudos, Theo and Alexis (sorry if I spelled it wrong)and MRM! What a variety!
Absolutely right!😄 ive made some wonderful friendships through rockhounding! Its always exciting to find kindred spirits to freak out over finds with😂 thanks so much for watching!
This is a great idea for the winter season when you can't get out and hunt rocks you can share with us fans what you cut and the microscope pictures are awesome. You two have a great chemistry thanks
Thank you so much!😄 kim is a very good friend so its easy to make fun videos with her😂 and definitely will be doing more vids like this soon! We just got hit with another foot if snow so itll be a little while before we can get out to hunt again unfortunately

Wow Theo, you are going to be very busy making some fantastic creations from those beauties! Looking forward to seeing what you do! Hi to Alexis! I have a biologist friend who uses a lighted microscope hooked to his computer, asked where he got it, he said “basically it’s a kids toy off Amazon.” I’m getting one too, they show a whole new world!😄👍👍👍
Thats pretty much what this one is too!😂 hard to beat 68 bucks on amazon!😂 definitely going ti need to get one for myself! And absolutely well be doing some cabbing and polishing with these ones!😁 can not wait to cut that sagenite agate!

Gotta love those alexis photobombs🤣 and we will certainly be doing more vids with kim😄 it is always just way too much fun when we hang out😂 also definitely looking into getting one of those scopes for myself🤣 thanks so much for watching!😄
OUTSTANDING wow that was very impressive Theo. I wish I was able to walk your rivers for just one day. But I would also have to rent a truck to carry them all home. Wonderful content Theo and a definite shout out to Montana Rock Mom and DROGON for having the ability to cut such large pieces. The microscope does certainly adds a space like quality to them , stunningly beautiful. Mother Nature Rocks. Thanks for sharing that with us. Cheers
Absolutely!😄 it was so cool getting see those rocks in ways ive never viewed them before!😁 definitely need to look into getting one of those scopes for myself! And we will definitely be joining forces with MRM for more rock cutting very soon! Drogon has a date with the "dentist" and then well be able to get into the bigguns again😁
Really enjoy watching you two feed off of each other’s energy! 😂 Those close ups were so beautiful 🤩 & loved the detail you got on your amber bugs! Loved that Kim got Alexa to smile and loved her photo bomb in your outro!!
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: those micro shots are amazing ! Some of them look like pictures from outer space of nebulae! The micro and the macro sympatico! Isn't that exciting!! Rock on!
Omg, I’m actually crying happy-tears over the fact that it does exist people that shares the same passion about stones, rocks, pebbles and all things found near (or under) water. I have been collecting all my life, but latest year for real. Spending days at the sea (and with one of those lamps you can wear om your head you can stay out way past sunset!!;) are my BEST thing!! And that feeling when you found something extra!!! Got my first Dremel for christmas, so I’m still in ”pre-school” and consuming how-to videos to learn more, found yours that is both funny and educational! Thanks from the bottom of my heart, if you guys come to Sweden I’ll show you some great spots! How did you learn all the names and to tell them apart? I have so many cool and beautiful stones/minerals but don’t know what they are?!?!! Drives me crazy! Any tips? Sorry for my bad english and thanks again for sharing!!!

Ok, all the superlatives are trying to come out at the same time so I'm stuck with Dude!!! The showing before, then after the cuts wete amazing. So then had to rachet it up another notch with micrographs. The four of you were fun to watch, yes I'm including Drogon. I'm still smiling. Be happy, safe and stay healthy. 😷⚒
I've been watching you and other rock hounders for a month or so now. Absolutely enthralled by some of these finds. Today, although this is a little older video, I'm quite blown away. Within the last couple of years, I have begun painting on canvas in abstract style, much like you commented during this video about how abstract your agates may be once cut open, and I can see that painting what may be in an agate would translate well in paint on a canvas. I think I will pursue that idea and once I think I've got something, I'll share it with you. One more note. A kid in a candy shop couldnt show as much enthusiasm as you do, Theo, when you cut open a new rock. 😉🙂
Theo Theo Theo my dear friend I love this video! I had to watch it twice. And my Alexis....I totally laughed out loud with her object video bombing....haha...what a fun day.
