There are GOOD things, and BAD things to learn about Church history. But as James points out, we must be careful not to SUPERIMPOSE our modern perspectives upon these cultures, in which communication was far more difficult. This is an interesting subject that, I must admit, I could still learn A LOT MORE about. It's fascinating to look back at the course of events from the end of the New Testament, up to the (near) present.

Everything is to be questioned and should be explained by the one that claim to know this is why we were born with freewill every time we trust men and forget to actually find our connection with God inwards is when all have failed and corruption starts taking over.

Better explain what I AM means to men! Your funny, classic first Adam. God and his name is I AM! When you point to another as an authority in your world, you are transferring the power that belongs to God to an idol. Now, if you call for anything with the name of God, and his name is I AM, and you say I AM . . are you not your own maker?
God is, for I AM! I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal. I create the light and I form the darkness and besides me there is no other God. Whatever I want, I must assume the full responsibility for it. If I want to conjure health and the doctors tell me I cannot overcome my illness and I believe them, I have made my choice and must accept the responsibility for it. But if I dare to assume health, God is proclaiming it, for he has no name other than I AM! This is the grand revelation found in the third chapter, the 14th verse, of Exodus. “Go and tell them `I AM has sent me to you.’ “Whatever you declare, is; for God’s name is any form of the verb to be, whether it is I AM, I was, or I will be.

You can tell JW thinks the thoughts in his brain are so much smarter and higher am than his unwashed audience by the way he explains his jokes and his jokes and sees necessity in reminding us that the second century started in the year 100 and NOT 200

The reformation occurred during the first century, based on the fulfillment of the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34.
See Matthew 26:28, and 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 7:12, Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and Hebrews 12:22-24.
Heb_9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
Nobody alive today has ever broken the 4th commandment, based on Colossians 2:16-17, and the scriptures found above.

@@vanessanestes8589 hmmm maybe that's because protestants and catholics believe in the trinity 🤔 more than one person can use a symbol just like more than one person can use a word. Using God’s name in vain would be a good example. Just because there is a false use doesn't mean you have to give up using something properly. We still use the rainbow but certainly most people would think of that as "paganism."

Good ol dishonest James White. It’s funny how he slanted the history of the Didache at the end of this video. He said that the Didache was just the practices of Christians in a particular place. Actually what he failed to mention is that in the early Church there were many different locations who had the Didache included in their collection of scripture. No, ultimately it wasn’t included in the closed canon of the New Testament but for a period of time it was included in many Churches canon and this wasn’t in an isolated place. It was all over the place. Just like the Church at Corinth included the first letter of Clement in their canon very early on and they listened to Paul speak directly to them. It’s often said that James White knows a whole lot about wrong stuff...
