How has been the long term performance? Did any of the leds or led strip go bad??
Until now - no problem
Just make sure the installation guy has all the time of the world while installing the lights else he might damage the wires!
I believe cardi is an excellent brand and i haven't heard issues about it!
Also there are other copy brands but make sure you get the cardi only

While I don't use it all the time , only to actually change my driving mood..still it seems to be a great product and prices have gone down a lot too
good one. However if we give connection from fuse box, then it could be warranty issue in case of electronics failures. Any thoughts about that?
the Service guy on my Mg service center told me that it is ok as you havent damaged any car cable!

But also remember if you are claiming a warranty for headlight then they won't look at the fuse box!
No doubt these looks amazing but my concern is our cars ECM/ECU BCM are not coded for such ambient lights in that case what to expect?
These lights take little power from the car battery!
Other than that its not connected to car system in any way!

When i got the ambient light installed in my car soon after i went to the service center for a service !
I showed them the light and asked them if the warranty gets void by this!
He specifically told me that since there is no ORIGINAL CAR WIRE CUT hence there is no issue with the warranty.
While installing the ambient light we give the light power through the fuse box without tampering with the original car wires!
Hence the point of warranty getting void stands cancelled!
Also if in case you are still doubtful then you may ask the car dealer to connect the light with the car cigarette lighter.
In that way you will always be at peace!!

2. No the installation guy took minute care so that no wires are left unattended!

There are multiple apps which can support cardi K4 - as of now I use LED lamp app - I took the 22 piece Cardi K4 coz u can lighten up ur speakers

@prakashparadisee very less still ranges upto 6-7k 🥲 well recently i installed single color 18in1 ambient light just for 1200 its amazing and value for money.
@pronoymahapatra8141 1200 is steal deal.... Honestly I am happy because it's still working perfectly 😀
@prakashparadisee yeah been a month still working, not sure about how long it gonna last.. as its a diy.. i mean i used my brain and made it 18 in 1 ambient light got a atmosphere for 350 got ice blue ambient for 600 and wiring for arround 200 and some neon lights for 100, installed it myself.. trust me i did with perfection.. saw so many videos on RUclips shop person just stick it with super glue to the dashboard ruining everything..

This is Nikhilesh from Hyderabad i am a subscriber. I took the MG Astor Savvy CVT 1.5 black colour very much satisfied with the car, i do agree with some cost cutting, so I felt very disappointed that the sound speakers are low quality, can you suggest or any plan to change your speakers. I am not looking for an amplifier with a subwoofer looking for good quality speakers like component speakers.

Nice Vid ! how does the music mode work ? does it respond in every mode ? radio usb and BT ?
In order to make the music mode work you need to play music via the specific app of the LED light. And for that you should have pre downloaded music!
It works well but I have only used it once just to check if it works or not.
Is it turn on when ignition start ? Can we have option to for manual turn on instead of ignition. Mine is in ignition but it irritates as some times car stopped and it again turn on. Can you please confirm ?
Yes you can manually turn it off and on!

No everytime if you have turned off through the app!

How is the AC cooling in MG astor? In hot summers
It works well! No problem at all!
If you have an Astor with paranomic sunroof then in order to remove the internal heat just open the sunroof and within few seconds the car temperature will fall down

@Prakash, were there any holes drilled in the door panels? The shop that I went to install the very same lights on my Honda City, they said that they would need to drill holes on the door panels for the wire connections. Would be great in you could clarify on it.

Hi, I just Got 6 pieces k4 installed in my Xuv7OO, but the app that you’re using is not working with 6 pcs setup, so jeetu bhaiyya from CP asked me to install a different app (Ambient Light), but that app only have few modes, do you have any idea why the app that you’re using (led lamp) is not working with my car’s 6 pcs the setup
This is mainly because it's not actually cardi!
It will work same but that doesn't come from cardi!
The Chinese manufacturer have an app and that's what you have to use!

I have installed k3 version in my car it works flawlessly, i felt k4 was too much flashy
But you can always decrease the brightness and change the patterns
I personally felt anything above 10 is too much 😄

No it does not affect the warranty of the car. Just make sure you don't give power to the ambient light after cutting any stock wire it should only be done from the fuse box

bro i wanted to install this ambient light on my car toyota corolla altis D4DG and i have also bought the light but when i went to shop for the installation they said this light cant be used in your car but we can install our ambient light which will cost around 8 to 9k rupee with installation charges included i got very disappointed because i was unable to install the light by my own

Bdw, your setup does look dope, however I would like to mimic the Byd Atto 3 interior ambient light look, which is extremely subtle, specially how it gives a floating look to the screen!
Is there enough space to align the LED strips below the Infotainment system and such that the throw illuminates the gearbox!

Nai it's not an accessory it's pre-installed in the car!
I feel the installation of the same has definitely helped in noise control inside the cabin!
Actually damping is very useful in light weight vehicle like Swift, Amaze , Dezire etc!
In those cars the difference is really extra ordinary but in premium cars it's won't make major difference
