Fun fact: in the original recording, Lorraine Toussaint played Shadow Weaver as being much more obviously drunk, but Netflix forced Nate to tone it down.
9:28 Headcanon accepted with the way she's *clearly* drinking in this shot. Shadow Weaver: Oh, Catra, I didn't notice you were there, like usual. It's strange, I sent my _favorite_ adopted child off to her death and I feel....bad about myself? Is this how you feel all the time?
Something I love that's easy to miss is the fact that Bow's only able to continue Entrapta's mission because she saved the terminal. She wasn't distracted by the technology around her, or by the effects of the teleporter. Instead, she immediately pushed the terminal out of the teleportation field, putting the mission and her friends over herself and her interests on pure instinct. It's the culmination of her personal growth, and as easy as it is to miss it's still a moment with real weight in context
It never occurred to me, but the way Glimmer say's "She *left* us"...with that anger and confusion...makes me wonder if she realized for a second that she knows how Catra felt when Adora left the Horde. Whatever the reality of the situation is, and whether it was right or wrong, it's still someone you love shutting you out, and being left on the other side of that door *sucks*. Shutting people out when she thinks she's doing the right thing is something Adora can be awfully impulsive about, and it goes beyond just being overly selfless or whatever...she truly doesn't think she has anything to offer important enough that other people won't be better off without her.

that’s the thing with adora, she doesn’t let herself think about or explore her feelings towards catra. she shuts it all down in a box to focus on her duties. shadow weaver always called catra a distraction who would bring adora down and while adora clearly loved catra, she subconsciously listened to shadow weaver. light hope did the exact same thing too. so she hasn’t been aware of her feelings towards catra and generally ignores the things she wants for herself (like wanting to stay alive!!).

Literally, she saved the world by BEING SELFISH. How good of a message is that ??? In each parts of the world, societies make us learn as kids that being selfish is bad, point. And of course, too much selfishness IS bad. So is too much selflessness. You have a right to be selfish, to want things, to do things for yourself. 6:30 hurts so much originally, it was like 'oh no, it's a trick and a trap!' but once we figured it out, it was 'oh it's just reading what you already want' and it became a mirror it went from 'this is a trap' to 'this is the real you' Also. Notice that in her heart of hearts Adora doesn't want to be the all-powerful demigod She-Ra. She wants to be herself, and love Catra
18:16 When Horde Prime is referring to "his oldest enemy", he is not referring to She-Ra but rather the "First Ones". She-Ra is of Etheria, while the "First Ones" are from the planet Eternia, the planet Adora was most likely born on. The Eternians were the Horde's imperial rival in their galaxy, two galactic superpowers that battled it out. In this competition to control the galaxy, Eternia came across Etheria and seeing its massive potential as a power-source due to the huge reservoir of magic on the planet, sought to colonize it and utilize it for their own purposes (without any care or regard for the indigenous life and people on the planet). As they lost more and more to Prime and his forces they decided to turn their new colony into a massive planetary sized super weapon. In order to do this they needed a way to control and siphon the magic, hence figuring out a way to turn an Eternian into She-Ra (who is basically like the avatar or embodiment/protector of the planet) via the old sword. Just to keep Horde Prime from winning they essentially made Etheria into a planet sized, solar system/galaxy destroying bomb. In the original She-Ra show from the 80s, the Eternians were seen in a more positive light and were more like allies to Etheria. I actually like the twist this version of the show has by making the Eternians essentially as bad as the Horde, it is a masterful critique of all kinds of empire building and colonizing and gives nuance and complexity to the show.
Somehow I figure that love will conquer all. There love will save them. It will give them the strength to overcome this situation. When the fear and the hesitation disappears because your loved ones are threatened is when you fight the hardest and so does She-Ra. 💥 FOR THE HONOR OF GREY'S KILL💥 (epic transformation)
Such a heartbreaking scene as just for a moment, Adora allows herself to step away from She-Ra responsibilities and actually believe that she can just accept being here and happy; the way her breath catches and she just considers what she actually wants for a change... ...And in a second, it all disappears, and all she can do is swallow her pain and march on. Believing, once again, that what she wants can never happen and doesn't matter. It's all about her role in the greater good. For all the self-destructive habits these two have been conditioned with, it's interesting that Catra, despite the wrongs she's done, is the first to start growing out of them.
The look on her face when she realizes it was an illusion is just heartbreaking. An excellent example of how expressive you can be when drawing someone's mouth as one squiggly line. 😢
1:14 I relate to this so much. I’m so sad when good shows end, I personally watch or have watched like 99% of the shows you have on your channel. I can’t get my friends into the shows so I like to watch reactors watch it and hear their opinions. It fills the void and feeds my craving for watching all these wonderful shows with people 😭😂 It was hard to be done with She-Ra, but either way I know you’ll absolutely love it!
Season 5 Episode 12 Reaction! Woo! I remember when I got to this point. Feeling saddened realizing I was getting close to the end. Thankfully, there were awesome RUclipsrs to watch the reactions of! Plus fan art!
Yeah the ending was a little rushed. And when Hoard Prime said "Oldest Enemy" I think he was referring to the ancients, as though they have been fighting him throughout history and she is the last one.
I absolutely love She-Ra to bits, but I won't say I'm not still hoping for a movie sequel. One last adventure where they're finally past all the hardship the series put them through. A lot of my favorite shows in the last handful of years have been like that. Not The Owl House, though. Despite that we know how it was cut short, its staff just did such a fantastic job wrapping everything up and giving us that heart-warming epilogue. A good epilogue does wonders after an arduous journey.
That was the first time I noticed entrapta push her computer out of the beam of light so it doesn't get beamed up with her I have never noticed that detail before
This is one of my dopamine shows when I feel sad I've also watched it all the way through with my daughter she's six and my son he's now 12 I think I watched it with him when he was nine I could be wrong about that but it's crazy the different viewpoints and the different takeaways of the show it is one of the best written shows I've ever seen and the animation is really pretty awesome I love it when they do things in the background and stuff like that when they pay attention to detail in animation it's just better
We need a movie or an epilogue of some kind for the show (which is probably me saying I’m not ready to let it go just yet while I genuinely think there’s more to talk about)
13:51 Here come the water works😢 That's SUCH an important line and something everyone needs to know. That they're worth more than what they do and that they are worthy of love. My heart...🥺 On a lighter note, yeah Micah calling Glimmer "baby girl" is creepy when he's chipped. 🤢 When he's not, it's sweet!🥰
I am still trying to fill the void. I mean, that's why I'm here. Also for the wonderful person doing the lovely commentary. Also Fanfic helps soothe the void. Just saying, there's a lot of good stuff out there.
Number 7 of the 10 Duel Commandments: confessions. You don't know if you'll live or die, so if you've got something you need to say, then say it. I'm really excited to see how Mosco reacts to the last episode!
Well since you've seen the final episode. Any thoughts on their plan (which has not been greenlit) to want to do a sequel series, a "next generation" involving an androgenous offspring of Catra and Adora named Finn. They have official concept art and the fanbase grabbed onto the design for tons of fan art of Finn.
Heart Part 1 is about two things: Declarations of love and once again, Adora placing the weight of the world on her shoulders instead of focusing on what really matters- herself. What Shadow Weaver told her in Failsafe stuck with her. When she is placed back in the memory of finding the Sword, she recites word for word what Shadow Weaver said: She is distracted, confused- and right after being bombarded with scenes of Catra, for that matter. The temple is once again ensuring that Adora rids herself of her attachment to Catra, just like in Promise. And for all the growth Adora has done, standing up to Shadow Weaver in Failsafe as an example, she cannot see another way to handle things except on her own. The need to serve others is a character trait so heavily rooted within herself that it might not be possible to rip out. The scene between Mara and Adora might be one of, if not the, best scenes of the series in my opinion. It could possibly be a manifestation of Adora’s deepest thoughts and feelings, or it might possibly be a projection of the temple’s own memory of Mara. Either way hearing Mara ask Adora, “What do you want when this is all over?” and Adora once again immediately disregarding the question and focusing on her duty as She-Ra hits hard. Because not only did Catra ask her what she wants, so does the projection of the reason why she is doing it in the first place: The She-Ra who gave her life for her planet. Is that not what Adora should do too? Instead of telling Adora it’s the right thing to do, Mara tells Adora that she is worth more than what she can do for other people. That she deserves love too. And to that, Adora cries. Because that isn’t something Adora has ever allowed herself to believe she was owed. She was the one who owed everything to the world. And there goes Catra, ready to face down whatever the temple has to offer with nobody but Shadow Weaver at her side because she promised she would look out for Adora. As if it wasn’t possible for a character to grow even more, there she is, doing it in the penultimate episode. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for Adora, no matter the circumstances. Only time will tell how it all goes down. What a great video! I can’t wait to see your reaction to the finale.
Mosco: I fecking hate this show! I do NOT ship these two! Also Mosco: if pretty buff lady doesn't get her cat it will leave a terrible void in my heart for all the rest of time. i demand more seasons you cowards.
i really don't see any aspect of this show as "queerbaiting". i understand the sensitivity towards it as it happens all to much to sapphics in media, but in my opinion this isn't one of those occasions. Catra and Adoras story is a very complicated enemies to lovers. In my opinion, Catra has reasons for all his stupid actions through season 1-4. Trauma from the horde, insecurities with Adora leaving her, and the self-deprecating mindset that "no one in the entire universe cares about me" To me, this is an explanation for all her actions, im not justifying any of it, but i think it makes sense with the character and i think it is brilliant writing! The show builds up these characters separately, making them face their own issues, grow up on their own and THEN give them a relationship when they're completed as their OWN person. With them being on separate sides for so long, and the show showing us scenes of their pasts, and scenes where the tension between them is indefinite, it makes their actions in the season 5 that much more special, as we see how much they have learned, grown and accomplished. I also don't agree with labelling this as a "queerbaiting" show in general as it is so openly diverse in different sexualities and gender identities. I don't think they made us wait 5 seasons to have them be together to queerbait us, as itwn not anything to do with the characters sexualities, its because it WORKS for the characters themselves, and it WORKS for the plot of the show. If they had forgiven each other, and got together mid way thru the show, the plot just wouldn't even work anymore, and it would leave the characters arcs unresolved as it gives them no time to become their own people, it would just be shoving them into a relationship when they havent grown, learn or accomplished what the characters stories lead up to. And (unpopular opinion) i love that the show did this, i think its incredible writing. Anyways sorry for this rant, their was nothing wrong with ur comment, i just wanted to share my thoughts on that subject with this show Love ur reactions, excited for the finale
This show had the misfortune of coming right after Netflix/Dreamworks’ Voltron, with which it superficially had a lot in common. That show was called out quite rightly for a high level of misleading hype and marketing relative to underwhelming, perfunctory, and sadly “Kill Your Gays” moments of LGBTQ representation. I always gave SRatPoP complete trust based on having read Nimona, but there were good faith reasons for the skepticism around the studio.

There was presumably another She-Ra BEFORE Mara, yeah? One who was born on Etheria. So if the First Ones wanted to make one of their own to become She-Ra, they needed to get rid of the previous one, right?

BUT NOT WHAT IM HERE TO TALK ABOUT I see you like books, may I suggest a good one for you to try? If you don't want to, completely understandable.
If you're looking for memorable reactions to this show...the last episode made Morgan panic attack into a nosebleed. 😅
Lmao what????😂
I Saw That, They Were Crying And Bleeding Badly.
For next episode bring tissues and a plushie to hug
Somehow I figure that love will conquer all. There love will save them. It will give them the strength to overcome this situation. When the fear and the hesitation disappears because your loved ones are threatened is when you fight the hardest and so does She-Ra. 💥 FOR THE HONOR OF GREY'S KILL💥 (epic transformation)
Hey, since you mentioned- sandpaper: did you know that Catra's tongue is-
I cant believe we are almost done with she ra 😭😭 this has been an awesome ride, with so much catra slander 😂😂
I really hope that elijah is with mosco for the final episode

And it is something an animation with a more detailed, realistic style could never hope to achieve.
19:30 Yeah, Like the bugs in S2 who chased Adora and Catra
Happy to see that you managed to restore the video, I was really bummed out that this was lost.
You... are aware that the corrupted video announcement was an April Fool's prank, right?

Season 5 Episode 12 Reaction! Woo!
I remember when I got to this point. Feeling saddened realizing I was getting close to the end. Thankfully, there were awesome RUclipsrs to watch the reactions of! Plus fan art!
Fill the void, fill the void...🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I interpreted Horde Prime calling Adora his oldest enemy as relating to her being a First One, possiblythe last First One, rather than She-Ra.
Yeah the ending was a little rushed. And when Hoard Prime said "Oldest Enemy" I think he was referring to the ancients, as though they have been fighting him throughout history and she is the last one.
Is it just me or wrong Hordak give Entrapta and Hordak child energy 😂?
WAIT you’re right…
I absolutely love She-Ra to bits, but I won't say I'm not still hoping for a movie sequel.
I've bin waiting all night. lets goooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!
1:12 I didn’t need to be called so hard wtf lol
There's some great post-season 5 fanfics!
Mosco: "I'm allowed to appreciate...the art!" Sound familiar?
Lol yeah Mosco and Elijah were made for each other
We need a movie or an epilogue of some kind for the show (which is probably me saying I’m not ready to let it go just yet while I genuinely think there’s more to talk about)
The creator was open to a movie at the time, but sadly it was up to higher-ups.
ao3 is my support system
Angella is still trapped😐

Here come the water works😢
That's SUCH an important line and something everyone needs to know. That they're worth more than what they do and that they are worthy of love. My heart...🥺
On a lighter note, yeah Micah calling Glimmer "baby girl" is creepy when he's chipped. 🤢 When he's not, it's sweet!🥰
I had always had the impression that Prime had only chipped his clones before chipping Catra and Catra was an experiment.
Can you start again, another reaction of SheRa??
Don't fucking tempt me LOL
1:24 You're Gonna Be Fine. ❤ Next Saturday Will Be A Roller Coaster.
I am still trying to fill the void. I mean, that's why I'm here. Also for the wonderful person doing the lovely commentary.
Also Fanfic helps soothe the void. Just saying, there's a lot of good stuff out there.

2:01 I Always Liked Adora With Her Hair Down.
@Mosco 00:40-00:50 Prepare for a good year-long period of mourning.
12:54 It's Definitely The Latter. ❤😍❤😍💯
GOOD LUCK FOR THE NEXT ONE. :SOB:
Mosco: I fecking hate this show! I do NOT ship these two!
Also Mosco: if pretty buff lady doesn't get her cat it will leave a terrible void in my heart for all the rest of time. i demand more seasons you cowards.
Ironic.
16:22 "There is nothing straight about this man."
Seahawk transwoman confirmed?
(Cause she's clearly very gay for Mermista).
i really don't see any aspect of this show as "queerbaiting". i understand the sensitivity towards it as it happens all to much to sapphics in media, but in my opinion this isn't one of those occasions.
Catra and Adoras story is a very complicated enemies to lovers. In my opinion, Catra has reasons for all his stupid actions through season 1-4. Trauma from the horde, insecurities with Adora leaving her, and the self-deprecating mindset that "no one in the entire universe cares about me"
To me, this is an explanation for all her actions, im not justifying any of it, but i think it makes sense with the character and i think it is brilliant writing!
Anyways sorry for this rant, their was nothing wrong with ur comment, i just wanted to share my thoughts on that subject with this show
Love ur reactions, excited for the finale
This show had the misfortune of coming right after Netflix/Dreamworks’ Voltron, with which it superficially had a lot in common. That show was called out quite rightly for a high level of misleading hype and marketing relative to underwhelming, perfunctory, and sadly “Kill Your Gays” moments of LGBTQ representation. I always gave SRatPoP complete trust based on having read Nimona, but there were good faith reasons for the skepticism around the studio.
Missed live no worries I was watching lord of the rings extended edition for the 50th time with the wife 😂 just started this reaction vid I have a feeling it's gona be amazing and 😢at the same time

You should check out the “Hey Adora” podcast once you finish. It is a really fun and interesting podcast
If you're going to be watching reactions, PLEASE watch TallSwordLady's She-Ra Fashion ranking. It's pretty dang good!
I love this show so much, thankfully The Owl House managed to fill the She-ra sized hole in my heart… until it got cancelled at least.
To this day, the ending of this show is one of my favorites ever. It’s just so rewarding and beautiful and honestly the most perfect ending it could be. I watched this for the first time three years ago and it’s still one of my favs

The moment
There was presumably another She-Ra BEFORE Mara, yeah? One who was born on Etheria. So if the First Ones wanted to make one of their own to become She-Ra, they needed to get rid of the previous one, right?
7 Minutes in and you are practically crying and all I want for you is your girl there to tell you it's gonna be ok!
Also just realized you have a Muder Drone on the shelf! Cool!
I just now realized that your and DarkCry's She-Ra finale reactions might wind up dropping on the same day (or, at least, quite close together). Did you plan this, or was this a coincidence? (Can't think of why you'd do it intentionally, but it's a heck of a coincidence otherwise, so idk.)
Looking forward to seeing you lose your mind, even though you (at time of recording) at least more or less know what has to be coming. :)
I'm pretty sure the monster at the end is called an "Elemental". But I prefer to think of it as an "Excremental" cause it's a giant piece of sh-
Speaking of, any thoughts on watching the CGI He-Man reboot? Not to review though. Anthony Del Rio voices one of the main characters and I recommend taking a shot every time you find yourself shouting "Seriously, Kyle?"
Damn, between the comment in this video about people being so starved after _She-Ra_ that they watch a bunch of reactions, and the comment about book-smart people being dumbasses when it comes to common sense in your _DuckTales_ reaction, I'm feeling really called-out.
Hey! First time commenting to these videos, love your content and love that you're enjoying she-ra, honestly was the show to help me come out as myself as lesbian and non-binary.
BUT NOT WHAT IM HERE TO TALK ABOUT
I see you like books, may I suggest a good one for you to try? If you don't want to, completely understandable.
There's a book called "A Song of Silver and Gold", a story about a "male" pirate and a siren who are on the hunt for eachother and end up falling in love. In other words, think of “My Little Mermaid” but gay
Also, the Waterwitch OST bootleg on YT is essential
