Thanks Justin. There are indeed real live people out here, so don't stop what you're doing. Great video.
Thanks Charlie!
Thanks for stopping by the booth! It was great to have you we really love the channel! Great work Justin!
Excellent overview and makes me feel good for not going this year, thanks for taking one for the team!
For sure! Thanks for watching :)
Very well-edited Justin! Thank you so much for putting this together.
Justin- That was epic man thanks for taking the time, money and energy to put this together, I might not other ever get there. Keep on Rocking my friend!
One of the best NAMM Show overview videos out there..Great job, Cool perspective of the show..
Thanks Scott! I was trying to make it feel like you were there
Very fun. Thanks for giving us the whole walkthrough!
Thanks for this from Sydney Australia!
Players all over the world that appreciate a virtual tour like this! Subbed.
Man what an absolutely massive building. Very cool to see all the things.
Great value! Saved us all a ton of time and money, but we came away with an appreciation of the innovation and creativity inherent in the human spirit.
Thanks for doing all the walking so we don't have too. Did you have one of those step counters? You probably did a few number of miles. That was certainly a whirl-wind tour, thanks for giving us the flavor.
lol I looked it up, my busiest day of NAMM clocked in at 20,721 steps. Lots of walking for sure
This is great, Justin! I was glued to the booth the whole time so it was really fun to watch this.
I keep forgetting you guys never get to leave the booth lol. But at least you got a taste of the rest of the space in the video. Good meeting you again!
This looks like a blast to attend. Hopefully someday I will be able to visit a NAMM show. Great video!
thanks for the insider look, awesome video as always.
Superb video/audio of this event! I used to go to the Messe Frankfort years ago. I'd be there for days and never see everything. Today's technology is amazing.. Now, back to my drum practice. (I'm on day 5 and loving it).
Thanks for this Man!!! At the moment, attending NAMM with my Sons is still on my wishlist because of our jobs/college but we will attend in the near future!!! Take care and keep doing what you do...Im one of those real people!🤘😎
always look forward to this video, thanks justin
Nice job Justin, thanks for the walk through!
was that Daniel Thrasher in the piano world section? that's an awesome cameo! :D
Thought the same thing
Thiiiiis iiiissss a treat! Thank you very much! And oh hey... you had a good cardio walk right there haha! 😂
Great vid! Since I was running a booth the whole time I never got to go to any of the upper floors so it was cool to see that now!
Awesome! I think I talked to you at the booth too, see you next year :)
Thanks dude!! i am going to NAMM next year just cause its on my bucket list. That Yamaha Piano on the wall sick....Oh the drums where cool too.
Thank you for going and doing this. I had dreamt of going for years and finally got to as an artist the last big one. With the price of airline tickets the and feeling it wasn't going to be what it once was I sat this one out. Cool to see what I missed. Every serious musician should get the chance to go.
Bro, thank you so much for the work you do to bolster music!
Thanks Justin! - nailed it! ❤️
magnificent sound thanks SIR.
Very well done and enjoyable to watch and hear! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it :)
That was cool man!Tanks..
Really enjoyed the video Thanks!!
Awesome job, man. The fact that I live in another country makes this all the more compelling. Thanks!
That makes sense, there's some big instrument conventions in Germany, the UK, and China that I'll probably never get to see, but I'd like too. Just too expensive to travel that far
@@65Drums how do you mean…? The UK is right here. ;-)
Nice job Justin, thanks for showing around
Loved this video! Please do this again next year!
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO
Thank you man! This is top content.
This place is MASSIVE, not just HUGE! Plus, that drum circle looks like loads of FUN! Reminds me of ROCKIN' 1000! 🥁🥁🥁🥁
Great tour Justin👍😎
Excellent coverage of the show.
Man, that place is HUGE. Thanks for the tour!
it really is big, easy to get lost
amazing video!
I have not been to NAMM in Anaheim since early 90s. SO overwhelming when its at full tilt. I always brought ear plugs just to survive the sheer volume in some areas. Looks pretty mellow since Covid. Thanks for posting this. :)
Great job! I wish there was more from AMI, aka KAT at the Hal Leonard booth. Mario was killing it with the ElectronicPercussion!
Lmao you got unintentionally photobombed by Daniel Thrasher at 14:39
Beep boop I’m not a bot lmao. I’m a real boy!! Thanks man I hope to go to this to see the latest and greatest and you get me a sneak peak and I appreciate that. Keep up the good work!!! I look forward to your vids and you have saved me thousands of dollars by your reviews and honest feedback. Keep kickin ass!!
Wow!!!! Lots of beautiful instruments. Things you may never get the chance to see. I was very saddened by the fact that yes it was busy at these “instrument” booths BUT when you walk into the DJ section you couldn’t move for the amount of people in there. Very telling as to where the music industry has gone and where it is heading. Parents, get your kids into music and buy them an instrument!
Wow. A shell of it's former glory. Best Regards and Best Wishes!
It was much much smaller this year. But I think it'll come back eventually. Covid really made the companies reconsider if they actually wanted to spend tens of thousands of dollars on big booths this time
Thanks for going and filming, I don’t feel bad NAMM was missed this year, everything looks like 2020 with the exception of alligator man 🐊✌🏼
Very impressive! I must go when possible!
Awesome!
My feet almost hurt. Very cool Thanks man!
Great video! Thanks for stopping by our booth and most especially for sharing the whole show experience.
Thanks for allowing me to film! I always enjoy visiting your booth every year, it definitely stands out
The place is huge. Never seen anything like it. Thanks for giving us brief insight into what is called NAMM. It would take a week to get around it all, if u could!
The Fly By Night clock @6:33 is fantastic.
That brass sizzles adapter for cymbals is by Cherry Hill Drums. Best stuff
Justin! Can't believe I didn't realize that was you at Donner! I was working the booth, and you can see me wearing Nikes and khaki pants at 6:58 to 7:05! I think I may have asked you if you had any questions about the kit LOL Bummed I didn't get a pic with you, though hopefully there's next year!
Thanks man
THANK YOU
That was superb, must have been an excellent day, thanks for sharing, I'm a robot.
Thank you !!! 👍👍👍
superb video - thank you
glad you enjoyed it! took a long time to make
I remember my first trip to NAMM. For all whom haven't been, imagine walking through 30 Guitar Centers that are joined together. All the different products but also all the noise; some good, some bad.
Waw.. awesome festival 🥁👍
Seems like a blast! With a lot of coverage I've seen, others seemed to insinuate that it was rather empty but your coverage looked like there was just a ton going on. If that was empty in comparison to years past, then no telling what it's like normally.
As someone who has been to NAMM quite a few times pre-pandemic, it looked empty in this footage. Usually it's so packed you have trouble walking around.
Even though Justin said NAMM was downsized this year it kind of reminded me of what it's like too be in an art show I wonder if he can keep doing this until the pandemic is over thanks for showing us what it's like too be at the NAMM show Justin.
I enjoy this channel so much, most days it is just on auto play in the background...great video justin
Thanks for the support!
@@65Drums absolutely my man!!!
Loved the bubble pop transition
Thx Justin...another good video well done...my question is...Can you purchase anything there..like a cymbal..snare...thx again.
Thank you
Great clip. I would be in heaven there.
EFNOTE bringing the heat, the fact they seem to be blooming even with everything that happened the last few years is amazing to see. Really shows they are doing it right
you are speaking gospel man, i want one of their kits
they seem to be a bit cheaper version of ATV with a own hihat tech.
7:27 I love the finish on that Ludwig kit. It has really cool greyscale art deco look. I want it!
I really liked that pattern on the shell too
Thanks!
Thanks for the support AJM!
Was hoping to see more from efnote. Would like to see a video on the new Simmons Titan 50 if you happen to get your hands on one. Side mounted triggers on a $450 drum kit with decent internal sounds could be a game changer.
Waiting for you to post your video at the Kat Drums booth. We'll get to see Sweetwaters NDV in the back-ground ! (Inside joke, Justins on one of Sweetwaters videos lol)
I'm working on that video right now
Really enjoyable video man!
Thanks Justin! took forever to edit this, glad you like it.
@@65Drums I bet! I really wanna go next year. I don't understand why there's not one in NYC. We have everything else, haha.
@@demonicsweaters That's a law of the universe, can't have everything lol. It would be fun if it was held in NYC one year, I've never been there
Lots of finesse in the editing here!
Thanks Justin for giving us glimpse of NAMM and I hope to see you in the next one. Btw I'm not a bot :-)
come on Loyd, only a bot would casually mention in conversation that they "definitely aren't a bot" ;)
I never been to a NAMM Festival , for me I would love to attend one ☝🏻.
Not a Bot but enjoyed the video. I'm glad you endured the crowd so I didn't have to. Thanks.
omg 7:36 Traps Drums?? Are they still alive?? Their e-kit offering was one of my favorites! (cheapest Roland alternative at the time) Didn't know they're still in business.
Those WTS tuning systems looks a little funny but probably work FANTASTIC for tuning accuracy!
Bless that man who restored the Chamberlin.
Thanks Justin!
thanks for stopping by again John!
Justin Thank you for this video Could you tell me what Drum Sticks do you prefer for Electronic Drums ? Nylon or Wood ? And Does the Roland TD 07DMK be use with the Roland PM100 or the Simmons DA2012B ?
Thanks for the effort Juqtin. Loved the cameo on the weetwater ,channel too ;)
Yeah I saw them filming and I was like "finally! I got in a sweetwater video" ;)
@@65Drums lol
Omg, I just read my comment. I can't believe I wrote this bad. I promise I was sober.
Wait where was he? I didn’t see him lol
@@protobuster12 I was in the background of a Gretsch/alternate mode/kat percussion video
I'd forgotten what a cacophony of sounds those things are. My Autism would be off the charts at that. Thanks for a remote view :).
damn this actually convinced me i DO have to go next time!! thanks for making me broke =D
It's super fun, I'm glad I went lol
@@65Drums ou yeah, and so many cool products you showed, my shopping list is getting out of hand =D the WTS Drums One-Knob-Tunes-Whole-Tom thing, the Koide Cymbal with different pitches, the Tama exchangeable snare thing,
kick boxx baggage drumset, the Traps superflat drumset, all the native tongue percussion stuff... damnnnnn see you there next year ;)
That snare with the string connecting all the tension "rods" to a knob is quite interesting. I wonder how well that would work for toms. Snares are quite different in you can tune them unevenlly and get any sound you want. Still, I'd be curious to see it.
Awesome justin!! Thanks!! Not a bot btw!! 🤘😄🥁✨
That Who Are You lp cover snare drum clock is tight.
Not related to NAMM, but a quick video suggestion (sorry if it's been done before) : a guide to make your VSTi sound like real drums in the room from the drummer's perspective (using bullet mic channels, etc). By that i mean make it sound like what you hear when you're behind an actual acoustic drum kit (which is way different than listening to a fully miked kit).
thanks for your videos! is there a vdrum set that is roughly 1500 or so that is going to be released in the next few months that are worth waiting for? if not, what top two sets would you recommend in that range up to 1800? thank you!
Soooooo much ambient sound..... Ahhhhhh!!
Bots? Liked the video. That Lugwig Vistalite looks awesome in red.
Wow that was a ton of ground you covered with a lot of good stuff. Unfortunately, as stated, company's like Sabian etc. decided not to participate this year. Nevertheless, it looked awesome thank you! I just might make a a NAMM sometime in the near future.
casually walking by Daniel Thrasher at 14:39
What is that kick drum with the pedal on the side?! Very interesting
Would really like to see a video on the Millenium MPS 1000
it would be great if they sold Millenium in USA music stores so I could play one. Still have never seen one in real life.
Justin, did you talk to eFNote about releasing a multi-output drum module in the nearest future? I like how their module sound, just needs more outputs imo. (at least four, 6 or 8 would be even better)
OR!!! I someone would release a drum module with Dante ethernet compatibility! That would be the best, as it'd render it ideal in a live sound environment.
Daniel Thrasher was in that Bechstein clip!
Hey justin, completely unrelated question but I'm contemplating on getting the VAD506 and I was wondering one thing, are the resonant heads the same as the regular heads? Asking to know if I'd be good If I some day bust one up, It'd be nice to just replace it with the resonant head, it's not a deciding factor but I'm curious, if somebody else knows the answer to this I'd appreciate it too, thanks beforehand.
