I finally found a '76 disc brake front for my '74. Looking forward to no more leaking knuckles. Love the tires, I run the same size and rim combo on mine.
I have heard a few times over the years from old timers. Pack the closed knuckles with grease instead of oil to help.
@@southernrevivalautomotive Yes, that does help I use 00 weight grease they use on tractors.
That looks fantastic. I'd leave the hubcaps off.
Appreciate it. Decided to leave em off
Looks awesome, proper highboy. We ended up getting that 1970 reef aqua f250 camper special. We body swapped it onto a 67 highboy frame. The highboy was only $250 from the junkyard We go to.
Thank you! We have a 70’ F100 Ranger XLT and that Reef Aqua is one of our top 3 favorites. Sweet deal on the highboy chassis!
That truck is in great condition. Just a note, never trust any body parts under a hydraulic jack.
Thank you!! And you are absolutely rite on that
I like the those rims on it I am getting a 73 highboy Saturday it’s going need a engine rebuild but I like the color it’s dark blue on the top and light blue on the bottom of the body it’s going to need to be re-painted though but it’s body looks pretty clean
Niceeee
Looks awesome definitely period correct with the originality of the ole girl she deserves it good call beautiful truck
Thank you! About as period correct on 16” radials. We are real happy with it. Time to put some miles on again.
NO hub caps!!!!! Amazing transformation!
Thank you!! We like the look much better. You still need some Dog Dish metal Caps for your 2wd F250 bumpside correct
Nice!!!!!! So awesome! Nice work Brotha!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Think I'm gonna try an set of those Falken mt on my truck. Great vid
Go for it!
I’m not a huge Ford guy. Unless it’s a 75 Highboy. 😍 Same vintage as myself.
Don’t make em how they used to. What make or model is your favorite ?
Pretty tuned in on the Chevys myself….and Peterbilts lol, gotta pay for the Chevys somehow!
Got to fund the hobby! Used to run Pete 379 hood logos off wrecked hoods as my grill logo on my 99’ 7.3 back when I worked on big rigs
Mine was the same color, same year I had 16.5 12.50 x33 bfgoodrich all terrain on white wagon wheels
This has 33x12.50x16.5 aluminum wagon wheels on it when I got it 12 years ago. Used to be my daily driver for many years without any issues. Truck come out of Southern California but I bought it in Chicago
I am going with the 255"s on mine too, looks great!
Thanks! Very happy with the 255’s and being a Radial
U should find lazy Susan so spin rim easy piant
Good idea. I’ll snag one someday. I have a collection of OEM rims that need painted. To be used as rollers for Revivals
I need your old wheels for my 90 F350 4wd!
Man I let them go. I will be putting any parts and such for sale on Facebook page in the future. Sometimes change up builds and want stuff out of the way.
What model is the carburetor?
It is a new Holley 650. I will try get more info I think it’s the 4160 or 4150. Replaced it with the vintage one that was on there. Ran it for many years without any issue at all.
nice truck but you should have used black lug nuts but sweet truck man
re-used what I had.
A very nice truck great job on it.@@southernrevivalautomotive

Cool video with possibly the most annoying music ever :)
😂Thank you!
