The free bullets are the interlock. I’ve had the best luck with accuracy over the years with the interlock over the other plastic tip Hornady bullets.

@@wirebrush no one is currently making any 17wsm ammo !!! Yet we just had another rifle manufacturer offer a chambering for 17wsm in an ar platform Smdh. No one can find ammo now

Need some .338 bullets that will hold up to the 1-3 twist in the 8.6 blackout. The cup and core are coming apart.
That is the most useless cartridge I can imagine. No offense. Just opinion 💡
@bigracer3867 should be a good choice for hunting uppressed in areas that you want to be stealthy; like small properties near subdivisions.
@@diggernash1 way I see it the weight of the weapon vs what it is not worth it in my eyes. Rather a ar 15 in300 black heavy projectile. Like I mentioned. Just me👌🏻. I carried a45 70 Hunting for a long time till I thought about what I was doing. Heavy gun heavy ammo for just short range. Made no sense. When you get old and(wise), weight carried is a BIG concept! 😎 Carry a 20mm if you want. Just my opinion. Everyone got one!🤪😆
@bigracer3867 I hunted a lot with my "grandkids' rifle" last year; a Howa Carbon ministalker in 6.5 Grendel. At 5.5 lbs ready to hunt, it is a very enjoyable experience. It is a tack driver with 115 grain Barnes ttsx and performed well on a large doe my daughter took. I'm with you on the light rifles. I enjoyed it so much that I'm retiring my A Bolt after almost 40 years and moving to an ultralight, stubby .308. Probably going Howa again with their carbon fiber model at about 4.5 lbs.
I do have a 300 blk pistol that I have took a couple hogs with. I didn't use purpose built sub bullets and found the subsonic performance a little underwhelming, but it is very quiet suppressed.
I think the 8.6 should up the subsonic on game performance, but only some unbiased field trials will prove that out. I don't know that it will have a place with me because I use a crossbow in the locations that I would try the 8.6. I've found the xbow to be a reliable way to take suburban deer without annoying the neighbors(sometimes you can see their tvs while sitting in the stand, which is a little weird at first). The deer are so over populated that more people need to be eating them.
@@bigracer3867 I like playing with weird rounds, I have gotten it to shoot pretty well with powder coated cast bullets. Just want something off the shelf for when I don't want to shoot cast.
I love this promotion. Typically its what always pushes me to buying Hornady dies over Lee dies - the price difference in a set is usually about $10 but factor in the 100 bullets and the Hornadys become by far the better deal. Plus I just like the Hornady dies better.
I was just about to buy a bunch of lee dies and decided because of this offer to get all hornady instead. I love hornady bullets and took advantage of this offer years ago when i got my AP press, Hornady is the best!

I just purchased 5 sets of dies and tried to check out with this promotion and it still wants to charge me $50 for shipping 500 projectiles vs the $20 for someone that buys a press. I was going to get another 5 sets of dies but now i will be buys lees dies just on premise. It does not cost yall $30 more to ship my bulllets. I waited till i had enough products to qualify for 500 to reduce the shipping but it did not do so, so no more hornady products for me. I love these promotions but now i feel scammed instead of like i got a good deal
Also when i go to submit it makes me click a box saying that these were all purchased in 2023. The dates have not been updated to 2024 but because for the shipping not giving a break for stacking up enough products to get 500 free bullets and still charging me $50 to ship them makes me not want to buy any more for your products and i was going to buy all hornady dies because of this promotion, now im wishing i wouldnt have bought any in the first place

It doesn't take $10 to ship 100 bullets. So my guess is Hornady is breaking even on this, by keeping the shipping difference. Which is fine, it's still a great deal for the consumer.
Kick the marketing team out of the podcast planning, I get your selling a product and as a consumer of those products I’m here to learn about them, but I’m not here wanting a cable TV feel if that’s what was desired none of us would be watching it on RUclips we would be watching cable.
