that's one of my favorite parts from this liveset. it's truly amazing
Dont forget DJ Falcon too. That man is an amazing DJ. This live set is all him since Thomas couldnt make it to this set.
Daft Punk is not EDM. Edm is the Americanism label given to dance/house music in the 2010s.
@@jeppyjepWait this set was all Falcon for Together? Insane. Of course Thomas gets a lot credit for the production on a lot of the tracks but still unreal all the mixing godliness is from DJ Falcon alone.
@49:20 is a Fleetwood Mac sample, more specifically, the Stevie Nicks solo single Stand Back.
Produced by the one and only Prince!
Wow I didnt even know that! @@FinleyGomez
@@FinleyGomezCo-written by, but not produced by, Prince. It was essentially born from Stevie Nicks really enjoying “Little Red Corvette”
Thee Jamie Starr Scenario - Welcome To Thee Lite is the bootleg they’re playing here and was made by Felix Da House Cat, but there’s similar bootlegs by Linus Loves and Pure Poly_Esther that were made around the same time.
Why is nobody talking about 38:26 - 44:06. It's quite long, no doubt but the constantly changing composition is an absolute godsend.
I have no idea, its its own thing but funny enough found out about this set originally because of that section, a small future funk artist was telling me about how he wished it was longer/professional mix because its one of a series of great tunes which featured/used/inspired in part along with Chicago's - Street Player, which in its own right has become a famous sample even if its not as prolific outside a bit more underground stuff.
I really like the build up before it goes hard at 39:21
What a find. Ducking love ❤ youtube.
[Edit] Right I need to recreate this set, mixing it myself. 😇
Amazing set of DJ Falcon and one of the best party evenings ever in Brussels :-) Thomas Bangalter could not make it due to illness, but DJ Falcon made up for that BIG time :-) #sweetmemories #thanksforsharing
Thomas wasn't there?
@@Guy-iv2hw Nope. But DJ Falcon played his best set in the Together series, so we didn't miss Thomas ;-)
@@frederiktibau7859 How dare you!!? Thomas is a religion himself. XdxdxdxD how do u know Thomas wasn't there? :0
We need video proof
@@dustinemrani We need Thomas's medical recipe
I am so glad i found this. Thank you for uploading
No worries my friend! Enjoy! 🙏🏻
Me too. I lost this then found it here thanks
This really makes me miss when daft punk used to play live...
Still a fucking awesome live btw
@@FinleyGomez It was still amazing, the visuals, the crowd, the lightings, the suspense, everything was so fantastic
Crying rn
awesome time back then
I wonder which shows we are missing right now
If you have to ask the crowd over and over if they are ready...they are not ready.
muchas gracias por no dejar morir esta parte dorada de la historia💫
What a gem this mix is! Thank your for uploading it
40:58 absolutely perfect banger of a mashup
What’s the bassline from? It’s sick
@@ryancusimano5892Le Knight Club - Coco Girlz
I'm so obsessed with it. Together playing le knight club>>
I use this term reservedly but that part felt like Kanye West before Kanye West
The MC nearly makes the beginning of this unlistenable. The set itself though is an absolute masterpiece!
It’s so amateur on the one hand (cuts poor, sound drops, mismatched beats) but then on the other hand…….. the start of something pure genius
Ernest St Laurent - In The Sky what a track!
great tune
You can tell that Thomas and Falcon went to sleep after this. 2-3 hours of keeping the audience entertained? dang.
It was Falcon only with Cassius. But when Thomas was them they made a 4 hours set
@FinleyGomez you’re an absolute legend for this upload 🙏🏻
53:30 Call on Me - Together 😉
I was literally one month old when this dropped, crazy
Amazing set
Absolutely fantastic
I absolutely love this, this is classic thomas bangalter and dj FALCON and daft punk
26:34 Alan Braxe & Fred Falke - Palladium. Still sounds good by the way
The version of the Alive 2007 Encore on here is fire!!! I can see why Daft Punk ended using the template for the tour. They made it perfect by throwing One More Time in the mix.
if you are talking about the together track it isn't just a version. it's a full track named Together by Together which is a group by DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter.
@@Feuillodo you know where we are right now
23:14 Ernest St. Laurent - In The Sky
What is this remix called ? It's fucking amazing
Josuke Higashikata yes with a sample of Alan Braxe - Palladium on it
awesome tune
Okay the bit before call on me which starts at, 51:40 seems to be a sample which got reworked into a song, or was sampled from this song „The Heartbreakers - Heartbreaker“ or „Menace & Adam Pres. The Heartbreakers - can‘t stop loving you“
36:01 my favorite part
It was sampled by bingo player at everybody
54:10 Eric Prydz stole this gem and thought we wouldn't notice 💀
More like Ministry Of Sound stole it
The bootleg Alan Braxe - Palladium vs Ernest Saint Laurent - In The Sky : 🔥🔥🔥💪
best part of the show :-)
That MC is killing the set...
In good way or nah?
@@andretyroneii941 NO. HE IS NO GOOD AT ALL....BORING...
Ugh, there seems to always be some wanker MC ruining the music and mood.
When you listen to a ton of sets, eventually you learn to zone out the MC. It becomes white noise when you're lost in the groove.
I need the hype man at my funeral
Dude this is amazing :D
For the track with the sample of so much love to give
Kamasutra - Where Is The Love Love (Dub Mix)
It is
Amazing, never though I would see Together and Cassius together xd, but I would like Cassius use songs of 1999 (Best album from them)
This was the biggest robbery of all time I feel for them 53:40
55:48 I'm really curious of what song is being mixed I know blaze lovely day plays next (I'm not talking about call on me btw)
53:30 timestamp of history being made
The mix at 1:02:57 is absolutely insane, I love it
It is great indeed
i still dont understand, did they sample a mix of push the feeling on? theres a vocal that isnt in the original mix.
i found out now, its the MK Mix 95'
Update: The Cassius set is fire as well 🔥
1:09:38 Thomas Bangalter - Colossus
Brilliant.
48:45 banger
Track at 44:28 is Black Legend - You See The Trouble With Me
Found a promo copy of Fisherspoon - Emerge (Selway's Memory Boy Superstar Mix) in my collection!
Gosh the bucketheads mix is insane considerung the technical equipment available at that time!
Kinda hilarious they got the Bitconnect guy to announce the show.
@@FinleyGomez it's a meme i don't think he knows the mc
@@FinleyGomez how is this set recorded?
@@FinleyGomez Thats david guetta i think
39:58 gives me hard TRON: Legacy Vibes
I believe the track at 39:00 is Romanthony - Testify (Soul Vamp)
HowardHandsTV sent me.
24:32 where's this part from? Is the entire track made just out of these two:
Ernest St Laurent - In The Sky
Alan Braxe & Fred Falke - Palladium
What a gem!
This is banging thanks so much x
Good god I wish people toured today and played French house
Thought i was going to hear LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE at about 2:45
This OG version would be borderline spiritual back then.
Glad I found this
DON'T. LET. ME. GOOoOOOOO
Apparently the Mix is still good enough for you, no?
@@SwissMarksman I stand by what I said.
MUSIC SOUNDS BETTER WITH YOU❤️❤️❤️
❤
1:07:00 yesssss is that mixed during the set or is that an official remix track?
oldies goldies best times for clubbing
Oh snap! I just heard “Stand back” by Stevie Nicks ..remixed in this set…I’ve had this version for a while and hadn’t heard it …classic
I think it's Linus Loves - The Terrace (as they named it before releasing it as a Stevie Nicks cover of "Stand Back" with Sam Obernik vocals)
I think this is Thee Jamie Starr Scenario - Welcome To Thee Lite which is an alias of Felix Da Housecat, but indeed Linus Loves and Pure Polly_Esther have all made dance covers of Stand Back.
Obligatory comments about “Call on Me” aside, it’s kinda funny how ahead Falcon was, sampling “In My Mind”
Call on Me
CALL ON ME!!!!
1:07:08 We in Music - Grandlife
Does anyone know what the vocal loop is in between call on me from 55:39 to 56:33
valeria
Steve Winwood - Valerie
blaze lovelee dae
Tyree - Nuthin Wrong; but I think there is another sample I couldn't figure it out.
Can anyone tell me the name of the song at 48:55? I know the sample is Stand Back by Stevie Nix.
jamie starr scenario - welcome to thee light
This is where Call on me was born.
