The most British way of handling a situation like that
@Mohammed Hussain: If they’d been in Britain, a cup of tea would have been offered along with the sex.
@@vivelaresistance3239 Yes, tea and biscuits, cucumber sandwiches, something to start an exchange of items and/or words, a dialogue, BEFORE you go to the exchange of partners and/or bodily fluids.
"Terribly kind of you, Sir. I'm afraid I can't take you up on that offer, but please continue." :D
@@vivelaresistance3239 it was in Britain, it was in London.
@Luxe Lady lol you've never been to the UK eh? They aren't all posh. Lots of greasy obese men there too
"I simply didn't want to look at Colin, I didn't know what he was doing!"
😂😂😂
Ohh we all know what he was doing..wink,wink
I think we can guess 🤣🤣🤣
Yes, Colin is a British gentleman, and was therefore reading the paper, smoking a pipe, and minding his own business.
...And at that moment, Richard Ayoade is nodding along as if thinking "I know EXACTLY what he was doing!"
Colin: *Fap! *Fap! *Fap!
OMG, Olivia’s reaction 😂 and Helena is just dying.
Omg graham norton show liked your comment
Miranda Miller Very fake reactions.
Helena's reaction to Olivia's dramatic reaction was icing on the cake. I was dying at that point; it was too funny
Helena's wheeze laugh had me dying.
Are we going to talk about Richard's reaction throughout the story? Sitting there nodding his head? LOL
“You’ll know it, Helena!” 🤣
Now that’s how u tell a seedy story with the utmost class
Classy people can be seedy. They just use nice words to describe seedy things.😂
Her ladyship is the daughter of of the 5th Earl of Leicester at Holkham Hall, which is near us in Norfolk. We’ve been to the Hall many times for luncheon. Well, ok in the public cafe. 😂
If you watch the whole show, it's quite touching. She also talked about her 2nd son, Herny, got AIDS and dying, and Princess Margaret always hugged him and also talked to the other young patients in the care home.
@@kungfublob5951 deep thinker, that
@@kungfublob5951 There's not even a special place in Hell for you.
@@kungfublob5951 Ow how witty, and SO original....did you come up with that all by yourself, you sad loser?!
and a year later Princess Di, did it on Camera
I find older British ladies funny as hell.
Me too...... Most particularly miriam Margolyes..... She's simply the best at narrating such erotic stories
If only I could understand her better
@@anaszahoor4628 Julie Walters. She is hilarious
@@Dr.SyedSaifAbbasNaqvi yes..... I've seen her videos too..... She is very fast n witty in humour. She comes next to miriam for me. Check out all the videos of miriam Margolyes on Graham Norton show. You'll laugh your guts out
@@anaszahoor4628 I have seen every video of Graham Norton to ever exist lol. 😂😂😂
"Squelching about" is the best thing I've ever heard!
I love how Helena burst into laughter when she started talking about the Louvre, she knew what was coming for she met her quite a few times before.
@@jpryan90 I'm fairly certain you are correct, that's how I took it as well. She said it as if she didn't have a care in the world for the Louvre, she just wanted that night of "passion" 🤣
@@rovers141 Yeah, darcyissues clearly hasn't a clue as to what they are talking about.
, Helena belongs to upper class. She moves in that crowd. Her pedigree is in politics and etc
Helena's also related to Lady Glenconner's husband. So she's like their distant niece. She's brilliant at playing aristocratic English Roses because she Is one.
Yeah you love it she burst into laughter at the idea of going to the Louvre. That means I've wasted €34 on 2 tickets to surprise her...
Greatest part is how the other 4 people instantly turned into teenagers as soon as the story turned sexual 😂
I think a story from someone like her is kinda unexpected. I think the cliche is that someone so close to the Royals would be respectful and 'proper' but she was down to earth and had a Miriam Margolyes type story to tell. It was glorious and great to see them.all in shock.
@@lionheart11381 I totally agree :-)
@@lionheart11381 being "Proper" is for the peasants. The aristocracy do and say whatever they like.
I mean...she's a baroness, right? I'm American so I've never heard of her before but I am familiar with the title/position, she's the last person I would expect to tell such a story so I would react the same way! 🤣
@@rovers141 She was a great friend of the Queen and Princess Margaret. She was also one of the Queen’s bridesmaids when the Queen got married. So yes, very posh!
I have never seen Helena laugh this much on a talk show. Adorable she is.
Now we know what people mean when they talk about "the good old days"
Simon Frederiksen Exactly , back then people wouldn’t have a chance to refuse an orgy until they arrived at a seedy hotel.
Nah. I'm black; I'm glad the good ole' days are behind us. But I'm glad other people got to enjoy their time back then because, the fun stories remain to be enjoyed today by everybody.

Olivia's facial expressions and Helena crying with laughter... Priceless!
"2 really disgusting people making love, sort of squelching about" it took me 5 straight minutes to stop pissing myself laughing
I read your comment and went into hysterics... 😂😂😂
@@liviusss Me too! 😂
5 minutes of pissing? Quite a big bladder you have there.
5 minutes of pissing indeed? I'm green with envy. I'm on dialysis.
How much water do you drink?
Never underestimate an old lady....She was young once..
i have never thought anyone can top miriam margolyes' "helping hands" story. if these two could have a story off please and thank you :D
What "helping hands"story??? Can you pleasd tell me more. I adore Miriam and I watched every clip of her on Graham's show, which is on RUclips, but I can't remember that story

I read this lady's autobiography after seeing this interview. Her husband was very mercurial, she put up with so much over the years and then he went and left his estate, not to Lady Glencomer his wife and mother of all his children but to a male servant who tended him on Mustique in his final days .
The bloody awful CAD!
“Sort of squelching about” is honestly the best line I’ve ever heard
I dont think we'll ever meet someone who can top Graham Norton and his sofa. Truly
That's because Graham is not a bottom
I love the look on Olivia’s face - she’s as delighted as she is shocked 🤣🤣🤣
Her deadpan telling of the story made me laugh till my eyes were tearing. When she said they asked if we’d like to join them and I said that’s very kind of you but no thank you I 😂 What a proper response.
Helena's laughter steals the show
Helena and Olivia wheezing "very kind" will live forever in my memory palace 😂🤣
Love when Helena gets a good laugh. It's contagious 😊
"You'll know Helena, you, you'll know." OMG Makes me laugh so much. Love Helena, she reminds me of like the best aunt you could have.
The characters Colin Tennant and Anne Tennant from Netflix's The Crown are the same Colin from this story, and this very same Lady Anne Glenconner.
I just started watching the Crown a few days ago, so thanks for the info! I'll be on the look out for them ^^
Lady G is an absolute star! Hope she does some more interviews about her life. I’m buying that book for sure !!
Helena is so beautiful, I think this is the first I've seen her laugh so much
this is actually hilarious xDDD
Helena lost it at "the Louvre or something like that.." and Olivia's face when she's trying to imagine what Lady Glenconner tells is priceless ;'D
That story got wild quickly HAHA omg.
disgusting straight working class people on the bed,,,how quaint
When she said We went to the Louvre, for a second i thought she meant the Loo 😂😂
Vinayak Bharti I did also 😂😂😂😂🤣🚽
What is Louvre?
Ras Putin a museum in France 🇫🇷
I think Helena heard that too
@@RasPutintheGreat What is the Louvre? 😱😱😱 Is this a joke? It is one of the most famous art museums in the world and is in Paris. Infact, it is the largest art museum and the most visited museum in the world with 10.2 million visitors last year. The Mona Lisa is kept there.
"Squelching and everything" That killed me
What an amazing women. She would definitely be a guest at my dinner party.
I just finished her book and I thought it would be lighthearted but it was incredibly intense and emotionally hardcore. I cried loads. She has had a pretty tough life
Agree. Amazing lady.
Helena's laugh is definitely the star in this clip 😁
"And then the next day we went to The Lourve or something..."
Helena: 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They ended up having 5 children so I guess he worked out that whole virgin thing.
WINK!!! Looks like THAT married couple had sex AT LEAST five times in 55 years!!!
"Squelching about." 😂😂😂
Two of the greatest actors of all time, Olivia and Helena!
Been coming back every so often to watch this over and over again because it was just so hilarious🤣. Great show👏🏾
this was the best thing ever, i adore Helena and Olivia there faces were evrething i was felling lisening to this jajaja
RIP Chadwick Boseman
Helenas dress is just divine! ❤️
Helena wheezing there was just funny
She is gorgeous - a great story teller - love how the ultra cool pair on the right warm to her towards the end of the story!
Olivia facially processing the story and Helena wheezing away. 😂😂
we need a dedicated cam on Richard's reactions because oh my lord are they perfect
"I'd been longing for a night of passion, you know?" - yes, i do -- and "on the bed were two disgusting people making love - so I sat back in my chair, didn't want to look back at Collin, didn't know what he was doing - and they kept saying would you like to join in. Look - that's very kind of you" HOW AMAZINGLY GRACIOUS AND HILARIOUS. And everyone's reactions.
"....squelching about..." 🤣🤣🤣
What gem of a guest. All of them in fact Brilliant. Love u Graham.
oh my god i just came to watch this for laughs and totally forgot Chadwick Boseman was a guest in this episode. It's so weird and sad, it would have been grand to see how far he'd go. I hope his loved ones are doing ok.
I love to imagine her telling this story to Queen Elizabeth and HM just rocking with laughter.
That wheezing laugh of HBC is infectious 😂
The evolution of this story is amazing but that last turn!!! OMG
The video title should have been about Helena’s reaction, not Olivia’s.
Except that Olivia’s face does make for a fantastic thumbnail shot!
I think is because Olivia is a Oscar winner now.
More like Helena reacting to Olivia's reactions
Richard's reaction, the one time you get that wide shot of all four people, is bloody amazing too 😂😂
At the beginning... was she struggling w the accent? why was she squinting?
There has to be truth serum in your cocktails! 🤣😂🤣
It's called alcohol deh.....
She embellishes the story a bit. Just read that it was common for the upper classes to take their virgin wives to brothels to watch others have sex, so they knew what to do on their wedding night. There was no porn back then and ladies did not ask mummy or nanny what sex was like. I bet a lot of ladies were expected not to know about sex so I guess a lot of them pretended as to not bruise the fragile male ego. It was basically the porno version of 'mansplaining'. Look dear; The man pinches the ladies nipple and-
"Really? Oh how fascinating! Shall we commence with the shagging?"
What a delightful lady.
Do yourself a favour and buy her book. It’s a bloody good read!
This was easily the best show of the season so far, just full of people you would want to spend time with. Cracking return to form.
I always lose it at "and eventually, thank God they finished..."
No matter how many times I watch this I hurt myself laughing. And while the story is just hilarious on it's own, the real kicker for me is Helena's laugh! 😂😂🤣
Oh my days! I’m having that woman at my dinner party. Good storytelling. Such fun.
‘Very kind’ - that’s so twee. Love it!!
And one of the funniest bits is when Helena Bonham Carter creases up at her saying "We went to the Louvre or something.... I was frightfully bored by that." Only the aristocracy can be so unashamedly philistine as that. Brilliant.
This is a really funny story because it’s so crazy/unexpected but the actual experience sounds terrible
Unless I'm totally missing something here, how awful was that for her husband to take his virgin bride to a place like that? I mean, seriously, what kind of mindset was he in?
Caffeinated Nation Yea imagine that being your first sexual experience, he sounds selfish
My thought as well. Disgusting git.
And she knew he took himself off to upper class brothels before marrying him. How disgusting and such a lack of respect for her. She gave him her virginity!!??
He was a weirdo.
What made me think twice is that I thought it wasn't being done since the early 20th century.
I have read some books/stories that some newly wed couples during or around 18th to 19th century go to this brothels or (as she said "seedy" hotels) and look at couples making love. It was always because they wanted to show the bride/wife of what will happen on their honeymoon.

Richard's reaction in all of this makes it funnier 😂
Straight faced throughout. Amazing.
More British people, the more more interesting and classier it gets.

Olivias thumbnail in GN shows is always like these 😂😂
Best talk show host and best show on the BBC!
I agree. I've only recently found out about Graham Norton (I'm a late bloomer) ...
I'm so confused and entertained 😂🤣 😂😂
3:00 The best skill Graham has is to continue the joke when it looses steam! 😂😂
I love Lady Glenconner. She’s just fantastic. Read all her books. I have so much respect for her 🫶
This woman is a comedy genius
Hahahahah, this is why I love this show. You won't hear most of these stories on any American talk show. xD Graham ftw!
I absolutely love the British 💕
This is THE MOST brittish explaination for exhibitionism ive ever heard 😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😭
I will never stop advocating for Mr. Norton to host the Oscars: well-known among the Hollywood crowd and edgy-funny without being downright rude (unlike Ricky Gervais). Now, I like Jimmy Kimmel but let's give him a rest.
Der Glückliche Kimmel is way too political. Really makes his show a joke and him by extension. But I agree that Norton would be just amazing as host
@@dwightschrute3721 yeah, cause the last two times Kimmel hosted the Oscars he was sooo political. And nobody else at the Oscars is ever political either. Have ever even watched the Oscars?
@@Alatarielle love your screen name! one of Galadriel's names!😃😃😃😃

“Squelching about” is my favorite part.
An incident told with such verve, and so many apt onomatopoeic words.
''We went to the Louvre or something'' LOL
What a FANTASTIC red sofa. Lady Anne Glenconner is absolutely fabulous! Her story would be incredible for a film. A star is born. Everyone was brilliant and Graham your face in response to Lady Anne was priceless! #GrahamNortonShow #GrahamNorton #LadyAnneGlenconner
I’ve got to read that book.
Having read her book I have so much respect for this lady.
I paused the video at 2:05 to get a drink, great moment lol!
She is amazing.
The reactions😂😂😂
I had the same reaction as Helena to how she talked about the Louvre lol. I'm not an art person in the slightest, but even I know that some people's lifelong dream is to actually see "the Louvre or something." But then again, I'm no aristocrat XD
I am DYING over Helena's laugh at 1:25
Bless her she so British.
I've lost count how many times I've watched this - it just doesn't get old LOL!!!
My heart broke when I saw Chaddick
