I'm impressed that you can mimic the bad form so well. A lot of coaches have a hard time actually showing what you are doing wrong, but you demonstrated it perfectly.
I was surprised too 😂. Most stuff in form is really hard for me to deviate from which is good and bad. Easy to maintain the form I have but difficult to make improvements to it as well
These short tips are some of the most influential. Something you need to keep in mind and form into a habit. Months ago you posted a short video about not reaching back, but moving your body around your arm, and that greatly helped. I'm sure this will help too.
Ezra, you and Corey Ellis are my two favorite techniques to watch. So clean, compact, and efficient. Poetry in motion. I also find your technique videos very helpful. Thanks.
bro this tip seriously upped my game by two or three levels. Less effort, longer drives, more precise and (best of all) I'm not sore at all after a par 62 course. THANK YOU EZRA
Just subbed after watching this video. I felt called out on my form! Thanks for the tip coach. Explained it better than anyone I've watched. Yes I didn't know I was even doing the lean back wrong. Years of doing it wrong to some degree
I just started playing a few months ago. Things progressed quick, found a little distance, but THIS is the tip I needed. This changed my game. Thanks! And man, it's so refreshing to get tips like this in a sub 3 minute video rather than having it be a 12 minute video full of schlock. Cheers!
Liked and subscribed specifically because of your comment about pulling your left shoulder towards the target- I’ve been playing and watching form videos for 3 years and I’ve never heard anyone say that. Just tried it in the living room and could feel the speed it added, especially because it makes it easier to pump with your off-hand. Thanks Ezra! Love the content!
Additionally I feel like it adds consistency to your swing and plant foot location. Relying on muscle memory to put the disc in the same location is a nightmare to do while hitting lines. With the back shoulder it forces the disc in the same spot.
Implemented this today and it’s making a huge difference with accuracy, distance and my over stable discs are flying much better. Thank you so much…I’ve been frustrated at the plateau I’ve been at the last few months.
I feel like this is exactly what I was trying to tell my friends when I tell them to “stand tall” and not lean. Now I know what video to send them. Thank you!
Great advice. Pulling the disc towards your body and keeping it leveled to your chest and then following through. That’s the ticket and what I’m working on now.
This helped me so much yesterday! I never really realized I was leaning as much as I was. Skateboarding for 20 years I want to naturally lean into anything. I was throwing more effortless with way less rounding after this tip. Probably added 50-75 ft yesterday! Thanks a ton
Top 3 pros to watch and cheer for on the tour for sure!! Love every video, short, simple, easy, understandable, and very well produced. Still waiting for that big and maybe a signature disc thereafter?? Good luck on the rest of the tour Ezra. Will for sure try to film myself and see is this keeps me from reaching 500 feet max more than before. Big ups my G.
Man, this video really did it for me. When I went back and looked at my form I noticed I was unconsciously leaning... I've been stuck around 440' max for a bit and this brought me to 470' consistently. Really want to hit 500' by the end of the year and I definitely think tweaking a little further will get me there. Thanks for the awesome videos!
This turned out to be really helpful for me, even though I didn’t lean back as much as your example. I felt a lot more snap and control when making sure my upper body was upright! Thanks a ton Ez!
Saw this video and immediately knew i was doing the lean. Very next round i concentrated on a slower walk up and fixing the lean. Instant distance improvement. Thx Ez!
This is my issue right now, I am a newer player and have been playing for about 4 months now. Coming from a baseball background, my forehand is solid but I have found myself relying on it too much (especially for drives). Been trying to get my backhand up to par considering I can normally throw my forehand around 400ft on a good day, but barely 200ft with my backhand. This video helps a lot!
Super well made video! I know for a fact that this is my biggest problem with my drive, maybe the pacing tips you gave here help me get rid of it, at least you motivated me and confirmed my suspicions about my technique. Leaning is also super bad for your back, my back hurst from all the leaning I do with my drive.
I have been looking at video of me for a while trying to figure out why I can’t quite reach that upper 400s 500 mark and looking at my form this is one of the things that drastically stuck out to me. Cheers Ezra 🤙
This is the exact issue I've been struggling with! It's really hard on the knee too, as you might be able to see when you demonstrate the wrong form. Glad to see it named so clearly, as well as a way to fix it!
Awesome! Just found this fantastic sport, 6 months ago, at the age of 48. Went from averaging 10 over to 4-5 under in that time...and can see this tip will definitely help me improve even more. Thanks Ezra!🙏
43 been playing since I was 19 and was stuck at around the 280'/310' mark for a long time. Only in the last 2 years particularly this year, I have increased my distance to 360'. My biggest issues are timing and controlling the nose angle. Been actually doing fieldwork and not just playing tons of rounds. Slowing it down and getting the timing form and nose angle right and just getting tons of reps is drastically improving my game. I feel like I still have a ton more in the tank to get better as well as throw farther. I'm really hoping to crack that 375' mark this year! Thanks for the excellent videos. And keep kicking ass!
My back started hurting because I was trying to throw farther and I thought method one would help but no it actually slowed my game down. This tip is huge thanks big bro 🙏🏽
I think this has been my major issue. I never even thought about this. I tried with a towel in my kitchen and i swear i went from having some snap to having an explosion. I can’t wait to hit the corse
This is insane timing I literally just took a video of me throwing today and compared it to pros and realized I bend down way too much, now u give me a video on what I should do to correct it, perfect timing
Your Form is so clean I love watching you play! Im having an issue with my disc having a forward down angle as I pull through which makes the disc come out weird. Any advice? There is a video on my channel showing the problem in more detail.
Thank you for these videos. I found the one about keeping 90 degrees for most of the throw to be very helpful. I record myself throwing into a net with a nova and watch it immediately before trying again. I have been working on twisting in place so I can keep the disc on the line the whole time and no wobble in the disc. My biggest mistake is I can’t seem to get my elbow up so I can whip the disc. I think it is because I am still using too much arm to bring the disc to the power pocket. I do an exercise before the throw to feel the body pull it into the power pocket. I will get there! I have certainly had some better throws when I play a round. Have you recorded a video discussing when to engage the arm? I think it is only when you do the whip at the very end. Other than that, the arm should just hold the disc at the right level and be loose so it can whip? I have to laugh when I think to myself “don’t throw the disc!” Imagine telling that to someone. I also sing this song in my head “let the body pull the disc through” instead of “let the bodies hit the floor” from some song I don’t know the name of.
Thanks for instantly correct a form video that was uploaded to YT by a content creator earlier today. Even after playing this game for almost 2decades, I still try to fine tune my form. Thanks for the info, much love from Charlotte

Love to hear it! Yep, these two videos kind of go hand in hand 🤘
I was thinking the same thing man! Ez keeps blessing us with solid technique breakdowns 🔥
YES! Please more technique tips! Thank you Ezra 😊
LOVED: "Pull the left shoulder toward the target"....never thought of it that way....TY Ezra!
Ezra, you and Corey Ellis are my two favorite techniques to watch. So clean, compact, and efficient. Poetry in motion. I also find your technique videos very helpful. Thanks.
Thank you Ezra. I will watch it several times.
🙌
MAJOR Lightbulb Moment!!💡Thank you!
Great example of showing bad/good techniques. Please do more of these short technique videos!
These types of videos are perfect. Please make more just like this!
Love the bite size tips!!! So much easier to understand.
bro this tip seriously upped my game by two or three levels. Less effort, longer drives, more precise and (best of all) I'm not sore at all after a par 62 course. THANK YOU EZRA
I would have to say you have the best form on tour, so clean and precise! Love these short videos
Just subbed after watching this video. I felt called out on my form! Thanks for the tip coach. Explained it better than anyone I've watched. Yes I didn't know I was even doing the lean back wrong. Years of doing it wrong to some degree
This is perfect timing with the video Overthrow made today to reinforce which direction to be leaning. Thanks Ezra
Haven't seen it but they make good videos!
Thank you! I was thinking it had been awhile since there was a technique tips video.
it's these sorts of videos that get me out in the field working on technique!
Love the short clip format and definitely something I need to think about and record myself while throwing to try and fix this.
Thanks. Ive been practicing from the Schusterick video and I kept finding myself throwing high...again. Perfect timing with this video!!
I just started playing a few months ago. Things progressed quick, found a little distance, but THIS is the tip I needed.
This changed my game. Thanks!
And man, it's so refreshing to get tips like this in a sub 3 minute video rather than having it be a 12 minute video full of schlock.

Update:
After watching this short video I hit my home course for a round after work.
My previous best was +6.
Today I shot -2.
Thanks Ezra!
These quick tips make subscribing so worth while. Keep it up 👍

Heck ya!! I appreciate that! Glad the video helps🤘

First time seeing this, definitely gonna try this out, thank you!
Implemented this today and it’s making a huge difference with accuracy, distance and my over stable discs are flying much better. Thank you so much…I’ve been frustrated at the plateau I’ve been at the last few months.
Wow, that breakdown was nuts. Thanks Ezra!
I am so glad i found this video because i never thought of this until you mentioned this! Thank you
Thank you so much for these. Been practicing your tips from these short pointers videos and they really help.
I feel like this is exactly what I was trying to tell my friends when I tell them to “stand tall” and not lean. Now I know what video to send them. Thank you!
Absolutely perfect. Got more out of this 2 min clip than most of the other 30 min ones, by people who doesnt even come close to your range xD Thanks!!
Great tip, thanks for pointing this out. I'll definitely be reviewing my form with this information. Thanks E!
Love your tip videos! And keeping them short and to the point makes them A LOT easier to remember and implement. Thanks!!!
This is exactly what I have been looking for and I didn’t even know it! Thanks a lot, Ezra!
Your form is exceptional
Very helpful I have been leaning plus I'm very tight so I need to stretch to get my torso involved more.
Bro this was a total game changer. Great content Ezra, keep the game changing tips coming!
Maybe something on putting next?
Simple & clean. Thanks bro.
Just wanted to say congratulations on hitting over 50k sub's. Just noticed. Keep up the great vids.
That was amazing. I saw myself doing it as you described it. Short sweet and to the point thank you
Well you have successfully identified my problem. Haven't even noticed I've been doing that the last 5 years. Thank you for this!!
Great advice. I'm curious to watch myself now and see if I'm doing it right!
Best form tip video on the internet
Great tip. Always been a fan of your clean form.
THIS IS WHAT I NEED been watching my videos back and this is my exact problem. Love the tips! Great video
Great advice. Pulling the disc towards your body and keeping it leveled to your chest and then following through. That’s the ticket and what I’m working on now.
I love these technique videos so helpful, I started to do this and throw everything on a little hyzer so great timing.
Thanks Ezra, these are always very helpful!
Tight, another channel I took way to long to stumble upon.
Subbed!
This helped me so much yesterday! I never really realized I was leaning as much as I was. Skateboarding for 20 years I want to naturally lean into anything. I was throwing more effortless with way less rounding after this tip. Probably added 50-75 ft yesterday! Thanks a ton
Thank you for these videos. I feel a lot more safe taking tips from people that are pros.
Yeah boiiiii, good form advice, definitely something all need to hear.
I can't wait to try this out in the field tomorrow. Thanks!
Top 3 pros to watch and cheer for on the tour for sure!! Love every video, short, simple, easy, understandable, and very well produced. Thanks for this video! I am going to practice this in tonight's field work. I am guilty of the angled reach back.
Enjoyed this quick tip content. Simple and helpful.
Congrats on 50k!
One of my favorite pros. thank you for all the tips and content
Great video my man. So very helpful and demonstrative. Thank you!
You’re the man Ezra. Nice tip as usual.
Great stuff! Glad to see another tip video.
Been working on my form lately and that's exactly my problem! It keeps making me throw nose up too since I'm leaned so far back. Thanks!
The opposite (left) shoulder moving towards the basket clicked with me - definitely wishing on that one!
You’re a good teacher Ezra
Man, this video really did it for me. When I went back and looked at my form I noticed I was unconsciously leaning... Thank you so much!
I went out to play a round after i saw this video today and improved my personal best on the local course from +25 to +15!! 🤩🤩
Great tips!!! Thank you, Sir!
Very helpful. I have a good distance sidearm but my backhand is so weak. I’m going to try to remember this.
Thx Ez!
The fact that you can so accurately replicate bad form given your perfect form is impressive

Leaning is also super bad for your back, my back hurst from all the leaning I do with my drive.
Backhand isn't my go to, but you definitely made me think! Thanks for the vid, I'm sure I'll be back when I do some backhand practice!
Good stuff Ez! Im a few years late but glad i found it.
I have been looking at video of me for a while trying to figure out why I can’t quite reach that upper 400s 500 mark and looking at my form this is one of the things that drastically stuck out to me. Cheers Ezra 🤙

Wow, Im brand new and just doing standstill shots right now. Definitely going to be cognizant of this now. Thanks!
Nice, short and too the point!
Would love to see an ultimate backhand guide, or a video with your interpretation of what the slingshot is.
Awesome! Just found this fantastic sport, 6 months ago, at the age of 48. Went from averaging 10 over to 4-5 under in that time...and can see this tip will definitely help me improve even more. Thanks Ezra!🙏
Love these!! Keep them coming!
Great video Ezra!
Bruh I’ve been playing for like 2 years and I’m just now finding out about this game changing information…. Thank you Ezra you da bomb
Ezra! I bought a 22 Nuke (amazing btw)
Please talk about the PLANT and the timing, I always plant open with my disc peaking back too early
So good
I see you boo ;)
@@gwaypsgaming3232 😘
Yes yes, next to rounding of course, this over reaching is what we see the most. Thanks for making this SO clear to actually see.
I was just working on trying to stop my leaning today. Felt awkward and pulled a lot of shots, but felt like I was getting easier distance.
Dig it Ezra 🙌
The heimburglar is good at keeping it close and tight

Just tried keeping the disc close to the body until planting. What a game changer! I can generate way more power now! Thank you 🎉😊
My back started hurting because I was trying to throw farther and I thought method one would help but no it actually slowed my game down. This tip is huge thanks big bro 🙏🏽
I think this has been my major issue. I never even thought about this. I tried with a towel in my kitchen and i swear i went from having some snap to having an explosion. I can’t wait to hit the corse
Awesome form and instruction. What happened to the visor, tho?
I wore it once this last weekend actually
This is insane timing I literally just took a video of me throwing today and compared it to pros and realized I bend down way too much, now u give me a video on what I should do to correct it, perfect timing

Even when Aderhold isn't flexing it still looks like he is. God damn beast 🤣
😂
Thanks Ezra!
Thank you that helps a lot
This is one of the best explanations that I have seen. Go get Kansas!
Thanks for instantly correct a form video that was uploaded to YT by a content creator earlier today. Even after playing this game for almost 2decades, I still try to fine tune my form. Thanks for the info, much love from Charlotte
