it's kinda been canon ever since Tartaros Arc when they had to fight each other and chose to stab themselves instead. Juvia gave her blood to him as Gray literally went berserk thinking Juvia died.

honestly, among all the couples in FT Jellal and Erza got me hooked the most and yet I only ever got tiny scraps TT TT

The 100-year mission anime will be adapted in the year 2029 I hope it comes out in 2024 but I don't think it will come out but I really hope so. 🥺

Lucy mentions all the girls that Laxus is associated with. If you look closely, Freed is in every shot looking at each of them dumbfounded.

Freed has been shown like that all throughout the show tbh. It's justva running gag at this point. He definitely has a thing for laxus but laxus has never shown to reciprocate. Personally I think it's just Mashima trolling because Laxus is the one guy who has no single 'main' ship like the rest of the boys.

Not really. From the first season itself, they established Natsu-Lucy, Juvia-Gray and Erza-Jellal. There wasn't really any other serious competitor to rival Juvia in this sense. Anything else hinted was to drive jealousy and play up Juvia's obsessive stalker/simp act. Especially in the beginning.
