  • CN 3156, and CN 3233 lead a stack train south, down the CN Waukesha Subdivision. This was filmed on Whiterock Avenue, in Waukesha WI. I got word that the 3233 was trailing on a stack train, and it was a nice so I opted to catch it. I came here for some nice lighting, and nearly got cloud banged... Fortunately the clouds were nice, and never blocked the sun! Leading was the avarage ET44, and then 3233 was second! It's a cool unit to see, even if it's trailing. I was also on the French side for the first time, so I have 0 clue what those words mean. Besides 3233, there wasn't anything all that interesting. Just a boring ol' stack train.

Waukesha has 16 crossings in it, so there's plenty of spots! I've been bugged by the cops a few times though. I'd recommend going a tad further north, to Duplainville,WI. You get a CN/CP diamond that is pretty active, and it's a nice area to catch trains.
