Norway is a very rich country, but the politicians have decided that the money should not be used, but invested in funds. Only a small part of the interests are to be spent. They squander it on a lot of useless things, but hold back on care for the elderly, cancer drugs, maintenance of public buildings and other necessary things. But they really like to invest in prestige projects that later in life they can pat themselves on the back and say "I built it!" They throw money at mindless projects that show they have no idea what they are doing, or that they are part of massive corruption. But yes, there is always money in Norway for public projects that get out of financial control. And they do that all the time.
@@TeacherPaulReacts Much is good because politicians used to do a good job. Today, they are mostly concerned with tearing down what was built in the past. When the same parties have ruled for a period, and done more harm than good, the people turn back to the same parties that did wrong in the previous round. I don't think there will be change until people in other countries have stepped forward and elected politicians who put people in their own country first, including immigrants who want the best for the country. Norwegians will also wake up then. Because we have money, we can let it flow and go further than other countries.

😔 I didn't know that part, thanks for sharing Kari. I thought they took care of the population before investing in buildings and other stuff
