Prison School I think was often times very clever with how the humor was written, which I think is the main reason why people liked it, and why the ecchi humor worked.
It takes place in a high school, and the main girls (Meiko, Hana, Mari) are third years, so I guess they'd be 17-18?
Japan you follow the age and school year, so last year of high school you start out being 17 and become 18 before it ends, unless you redid or skipped a year then you would start older/younger.
Prison school is right at the beginning of the school year so they will have to have their birthdays right then and there if they are 18, so more probable they are 17.
I don't remember any birthdays being celebrated in the manga.

Grand blue is an amazing show, It has plenty of comedy and from time to time you get to see some wholesome stuff .

It's at the same time very crass and deliberate fanservice, tension in spades AND brilliant writing/comedy.
Omg please watch Prison School after this, that one is absolutely hilarious, and I m not a fan of ecchi anime, but that definitely worked out for it, and surprisingly it has a good plot.

Honestly, in my own opinion, Prison school and Konosuba are a leagues better comedy-wise than grand blue, again, in my opinion. It just didn't make me laugh as much as the former two did. But many people liked it so I guess it was just not my cup of tea.

When Prison school came out I was extremely turned off by the premise. The synopsis and art didn't interest me at all. One day I randomly gave it a chance cuz I was bored and I died every single episode from over laughing.

Prison school is a GOD! ive watched it like 4/5 times, never fails to make me laugh
I would recommend Konosuba since its 2 season 10 eps each with a movie. Lots of adult-ish jokes and just pure chaos.

Everyone is saying it, but that's because they're right: Prison School is a different kind of show. If you can get over the gratuitous smut it's actually hilarious, and tells a legit good story about a group of friends. 9/10 reccomend

You should definitely watch Prison School, it's not just comedy but you actually care for the characters and the plot, plus the fanservice is so over the top and dramatic that it's hilarious, which is the probably what the author wanted.
Prison school has underage fanservice. I don't think she will like it.
@@SilverFang95 To be fair Classroom of the Elite also has that, although it's not as strong as PS fanservice. Either way I think she should try the 1st episode and decide, I've seen reactions from girls who don't like that type of stuff but they still enjoyed the show a lot because the show is actually really good.

oh didnt expect to see Grand Blue here, it was a bit underrated when it came out its funny af, i would recommend for you to try out reacting to 1 episode of Lycoris Recoil, its one of the best this summer season

So I am from south part of France and I can say people near the ocean sides are always funny and amazing with my experience I went for studies and mann the comedy 😂 was just like this anime in my life
