So glad I won a pair of these. Such a great IEM but not many would pay the price despite the limited edition factor. I personally kept the stock cable on mine but swapped the spring tips for regular Moondrop silicone tips, they really tighten things up and gave a much better seal considering the weight of these. Thanks for being one of few to actually make a video on them.
I haven't made a video review of them yet, in fact I discovered that the stock cable is bad, i found an impressive improvement when I changed the cable for this one: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_mLtXTri more microdetail, better bass, image and scene improvement, as well as sharper treble I haven't tried the regular moondrop tips yet, I'll try it, thank you very much for the recommendation.
@@Darkeniel I haven't the need to upgrade the cable yet. These are the best IEM's I own so I have nothing to compare them to for better detail. Maybe down the line i'll get a better cable. Stock one is nice but a little too stiff. I do think they'd be worth a review, they are different enough to the Kato. They changed something in them and I prefer this tuning to the stock Kato that i've tested.
@@burns0100 I asked with Moondrop what was happening if it was the same driver and they told me No. The curious thing is what the version says in the description of the page, although I suppose they refer to the version of the driver and not the driver itself, everything is strange even so but if you consider that the beautiful world is very good. You do not need to compare with anything, the change is immediate and noticeable and although it does not happen with all iems with bw, yes and it is appreciated. I'll see if I can capture it on video. 😀
@@Darkeniel Well it's different enough to the Kato that I'd call it a Kato 2 and it's a substantial upgrade over the Aria and Starfield. I own just about all the cheaper Moondrop IEM's so I can only compare it to the Starfield for a side by side and off memory for the Kato for the closest in terms of single DD quality. I'm just happy with them, glad to have been one of 777 people to officially own a pair. Number 501. The one thing I did get out of a Moondrop rep was about the diamonds. They are real, they are graded but they are just so small that they don't hold much value, you can buy each diamond anywhere from $10-30. They are VS1-2 clarity meaning they are actually good little pieces despite the size.
@@burns0100 good information there, I didn't know that about diamonds. I'm glad you have them, I still have the Starifield 1 and I also consider that the BW are superior without a doubt, I was really thinking about buying the "dark saber" too but I'll go for other things first 😃
Compration & first impressions 😁 I couldn't say that, the FR is clearly similar, but the kato was dirtier, I would have loved to try it side by side but I gave away the kato. the kato had more punch, the treble also slightly raised, i can tell you is apparently they use the same filters (kato filters ordered: still on the way). the integration of BW is much more natural, I would recommend changing the cable, I really felt a considerable improvement with the change of cable, improving the obtaining of micro details, image precision and layer separation, to be honest I prefer it to the aur neon pro, because bw it is more coherent and enjoyable, typical of a DD vs multidriver with wrong implementation 😅. compared to another collection iem (price) for example fiio fdx: it seems to me better in content, and despite the fact that the bass textures are better in fdx compared bw (stock cable), bw is smoother, natural and recovers more detail than fdx at all other frequencies
¡Saludos!
Thank you, for showing to the world, I want it!!!

Con que otros iems de moondrop se podría comparar, en qué lugar estaría ?
Is that the Moondrop Kato cable with interchangeable plugs for a $770 iem??
