- I have been on a 22 inch BMX for five years and given that there is barely any 22 inch BMX content out there I have gathered a selection of clips. These clips are from various edits from friends, phone clips etc…
For these clips I am onboard a United KF22 and an S&M ATF 22. Any questions about 22s hit me up in the comments.
I am 6'2 as well and I rode a 22 inch tt 20 incher for a little while. I got a 22 inch (wheeled) and at first I wasn't so sure but once I learned how to ride it I sold my 20 incher and never looked back. Its as stable and comfortable as my 26 inch DJ bikes and still spins better, in the skate parks and pump tracks its a blast - DJ does work better for me in the dirt though
Love it. Thinking of getting 22" wheeler as i'm getting on a bit and the 20: wheeled bikes are hard work.
We need more people to do more videos with there 22
Agreed. There is hardly anything out there.
YES JAY! ( swervin)
Cheers mate
I am 6,07 and 45 years old, I also think that thanks to your video I will take a 22 "! I still have hopes of making big air. Thank you for your video on the 22" BMX. The frame is also in 22 "?
Hope you got your 22 dude theyre a blast.. imo WTP and Fit make the better complete 22s
@@nightmareon.E53rdst Yeah it's good but I bought the Verde Spectrum. So good too!
Thanks. Stoked to hear that dude. Hope you are enjoying your 22!
Do you have BMX experience already or are you a Beginner? I wanted to start BMX riding as a Beginner now, but unsere If Basic tricks are good to learn with a 22". And what about jumps, If your butt goes to the ground and Hit the tire... In this Special Case a 22' would hurt !?
Swag
Damn son! Lol. Wish I could ride my 22” that good. I just got F-IT 22 awhile ago & am still getting used to it. Awesome vid though!
Great riding! How tall are your bars? Do you have a suggestions for a 5’10” rider on a 22” atf? Thanks
9.5 cult crew bars at the moment. Hard to say as it’s personal preference really.
I would try 8.75-9.2 as a good starting point maybe.

Imo basic tricks will be easier to learn on a 22", because you'll feel more comfortable more quickly. And if you get tire buzz on any bmx you must be doing something wrong, 20" to 22" won't make a difference.
That being said, im 6 ft and bought a 20" when I started 3 years ago, took me a long time to get used to, but now I love it.
Do a bike check!!
how tall are you?
6ft 2

Same as me, great to have the reference 🙂
Looks like a 22 works like a charm.., now to try and get my hands on one 😅
@@jst88 I'm 6'think 22" will work well? new to sport
@@mayham.action yeah, something with a sub 22 inch top tube should be fine for you if your looking to go for a 22 wheel. If not a longer top tube 20 inch wheel frame would be great. My last
20 had a 21.8 top tube (the 22 feels a little more in proportion for me though).
