I'm going crazy , I remember last year seeing a guy review an Outdoorsy/Surival gimmick handheld , similar to that 1 it was a compass 🧭.. think it went up to N64/PSP/Dreamcast . With a bunch of different features , like water proof, even possible a satellite , can save movies on it
@1:44 The Dendy was really big in Ukraine in the mid 90s. It was basically a PAL FamiCom with removable controllers where most games were sold on cheapo yellow plastic multi-carts(it was almost always yellow for some reason). I also remember KEGA Master System clones floating around but those were way less popular. I didn't even realize that they were bootlegs until I emigrated to the US in 96' and first went into a Toy R Us. Blew my little mind. Although not as much as the N64 demo kiosk they put in like a month later.
I often wonder what the profit margin is on many of these Famiclones. "Proper" retro handhelds are now quite cheap, so the cost to manufacture a Famiclone and stuff it full of pirated roms must be next to nothing.
You like it? Sadly it’s only called “RetroZoltan”. Tempted to release the full version for people to listen to. I made it with the help of AI so I can’t take any real credit. Only the goofy band name.
Yeah there isn’t a lot, but it’s hard to search for more info without the proper terminology. Your right though … should have gotten more info about the CPU… which literally people usually call “blob” chips because they put this black stuff over the CPU on the PCB.
6:34 lmao that built in clock on the bottom left!
@@bankbank I did a vid on that handheld. It’s a crazy one!

Wow! Interesting!! I never even heard of Dendy until recently. They are so unique and I appreciate they came around when people had no other option!
Same here in India we have Terminator to the ending man
Great job Retro Zoltan now I know what not to buy!
I’ll be getting rid of most of the ones I have! Saved them for this vid.

It must be quite a bit. I see manufacturers selling these things for as low as $5.00 each if you buy them in lots as low as 50!
What's the fun Red 39 song called at the ending? 😊

I was just researching about FamiClones Lmao!!!
@@bleachtybwfull let me know if I missed something.. I fear the there may be more stuff about them!
@@RetroZoltan You could have talked about the CPU, and the Architecture Maybe?.. But I get it because there are very less resources online
