    Have you ever tried to fly it out with a spinning reel solo? I noticed one person was managing the bail and the other was guiding line.

    Does the Condor need to be quite far from car for calibration? At Muriwai the car is parked quite close so just wondering if this will cause interference.

      It is recommended to be at least 6 metres away from vehicles, phones, and anything else that is likely to interfere with the signal.

    What do you think about using the drone to cast a light weight fishing set up? Like a 5 - 10lb line dropping out 50 - 100m? Thinking of using my normal fishing set up. Would the drone be able to release this, given that it's so light? Just one bait and a small sinker say 1/2 oz. More for estuary / lake / calm water fishing obviously rather than surf. Cheers

      Should be fine,the drop system use a premade steel rod that clips between 2 ball bearings,just need to wind out the tensioner for the bearings to release easier because of your light setup

      @@paulsfishingsystems First of all thank you for your quick response, you would have to see that nylon thickness enters a medium reel, I have no experience, I am on the Mediterranean coast where here there is no fishing near the coast

    How well has the Okuma makaira have held up over time?

    • @paulsfishingsystems
      @paulsfishingsystems  2 года назад

      Still feels brand new, so quite well so far. Hasn’t needed any maintenance yet.

      @@paulsfishingsystems thank you for the reply I been trying to decide between the makaira and the saltiga

      @@williammata6019 it would depend on what your mainly using it for. Makaira is heavier, but bigger capacity. Better technology in the Daiwa helping to reduce weight but not available with a large capacity for drone fishing

      @@paulsfishingsystems mainly I’ll be targeting big tarpons and Goliath groupers and sharks also I’m planning on going with the 20000

      @@williammata6019 benefit in my opinion of the Makaira is the bigger size. In a 20000 there’s a clear winner, Saltiga.
