Honestly your videos never just feel like "highlights". Even in this pretty laid back video, your occasional bursts of calmly delivered, witty commentary make it seem more like a story. You give context to sets of clips that make them more engaging in your videos. (If that makes any sense)

only problem i have in the hanzo nerf is that they are also buffing mei, she already feels unkillable to most people and taking away the most effective counters, being one shots, makes it even harder.
Hate that Mei buff she is annoying already
It always felt like Mei could survive a fully charged hanzo headshot and I always got really mad for it. It just didn't make sense to me why she could survive, but not soldier 76 or mcree who is bigger and more muscular than her.
I'm not saying they should survive the headshots too but I am saying that everytime a Mei survives a headshot I yell "you fat fucking bitch I hate you".
It's like the reason she survives a headshot is because she's the 1 chubby girl character in the game.
I understand it's game balance related and not character design related, but it just feels ridiculous to see it happen mid match. Especially because she's such an annoying character to fight.

Unpopular opinion: Hanzo is widow's counter.
@@doc4561 Legit, he is, but I bet Arrge will still enjoy playing against fewer widows, cause then you don't have to use as many resources getting sightline control.

@@trash0175 fr mainly because you can sneak in a sonic arrow without the widow knowing if you time it right. But the second widowmaker pops her ult, the whole team is aware of it and actively tries to avoid her sightlines. Too bad that won't be the case for hanzo's sonic after the update since it's gonna be more recognizable by the enemy. Lets just hope they dont make them useless.
@@doc4561 yes and no. In short distance is a good heroe to deal with widow, but in long distance it's so hard to predict and hit shots while widow is a hitscan. Now with the nerf Hanzo will deal with widow at short and long distance
I do hate how this update pleases the people, who are the problem that the character is so good, that ashe on kingsrow in this video is a perfect example she has predictable movement and strafes back into the shot and then goes onto to say the hero is unbalanced. The games is riddled with abilities that require no aim or skill and yet the heroes that do require some keep getting nerfed

I hate how this game simps to the bots who walk into lanes and get one shot and complain. Aka healers. It’s the healer community the ruins this game they complain about everything being broken besides there own characters. They need to have more impact because healing the team isn’t enough. Miss when this game was bout healing and not doing as much dmg as possible as healer.
the difference is that hanzo punishes one mistake worse than any other character, other than widow, can. The ashe has to headshot you twice, hanzo requires one arrow, regardless of range to eliminate a 250 hp hero. Not only this, but it takes a total of 4 arrows to wipe an entire team. A single DPS character can entirely change a game regardless of the enemies skill level. Hes not balanced at all, and there is zero counters to one shots.
ive taken to saying simply that if you face a hanzo/widow, and dont mirror them to get picks, your team is automatically at a loss because that hanzo only has to hit most characters once, whereas ashe, mcree, mei, genji, all of the others have to hit you multiple times to kill you. It isnt fair simply put.
also i love hanzo and am sad he might not be as strong, but im tired of facing him every match

I think you are right about hanzo getting overall stronger because his main sniper competitor got nerfed harder. But I worry this will mean that Hanzo will get dumpstered in the patch after this one since now the community knows they can whine in patch notes.
9:25 is where the enemy Doomfist playing it right in diving, disturbing the Hanzo player and making him unable to perform consistenly, which leading them winning the objective.
Widowmaker's nerf is needed as the players could just sit on the other side of the map and farm all the way by clicking heads. If you dive her you are fulfilling her purpose as a distraction and wasting your CD and resources into her while making her team fight on the front-line easier. Either you change your entire team comp to make her irrelevant or getting to get farmed hard.
Hanzo on the other hand doesn't require that much resources as all as he is unlike Widowmaker is easier to counter as he requires to be in midrange to perform consistently. There are so much variables influencing his performance and so many ways you could play around him compare to Widow. I'd rather face a Hanzo than a Widow in my lobby.

I play a lot of hanzo and I constantly have to switch because of genjis and winstons. Is there a way to consistently deal with these guys or should I just hang farther back?
I deal with this a lot too, but this issue is actually a teammate issue primarily. As a hanzo it's not your job to stuff a dive, you basically can't.
You can stuff a genji or any other squishy dive as long as your aim is on point and you get that headshot, but against a Winston or dva you're not going to survive.
You have to rely on your teammates to save you. It is your job however to stick with the team and make sure that you are in saving distance.
I only play unranked open queue quickplay, so it's really a toss up on whether or not my team will be able to save me from dives. You never know what kind of team you're dealing with in unranked qp

I expected you to answer exactly how you did in regards to the nerf. A few heroes will have to be 2 tapped but that’s no issue for the legend of Mr. 2k
I'm a 500hr Widow main (over 1/3 of my playtime), I've already been grinding Hanzo. Can't wait to play him next season! 😊😊

Those Junkertown clips at the start were absolutely ridiculous, bro fires 4 arrows and gets 4 headshot kills, crazy
If Hanzo will need to hit 2 hs on Mei or 2/3 body shots on Mei then it will be better to go back to spawn and play Mei cuz she shots faster and has her abilities that can prevent her from getting damage / heal her + wall can help the team 💀🪦

I had this thought for a while. To get better at a character like hanzo wouldn't you have to play him more? To see first hand how he plays in different situations, losing and winning. But this mental conundrum of whether to switch off him in events where my teammates say "hanzo isn't needed here" for example or just continue playing him anyway. Would this in of itself be considered throwing, to play a character purposefully knowing its disadvantageous for your teams ability for success? But to be more consistent and "better", one would need to be put in matches against other players so you would know what to do.
Anyways I feel like I'm just rambling at this point, but my main question here is if its morally okay to practice a hero in a quick or comp match. As since ow 1 came out I had an pretty even amount of hours around all the characters. As my skill reflected that. I've thought of it as being able to play any character, but just without any remarkable skill. With the release of ow2 I wanted to change this and play more hanzo, a character I've always liked the design and gameplay of. Although the more I play, the more it makes me think of this conundrum.
Am i literally just over thinking the idea of playing a fictional character over another in a virtual game?
Just mute and play whatever. As long as you can recognize moments where being inconsistent might have cost you the game it doesn't matter.

@@burgerking6314 yeah it's something I've worried about as well. If I can tell I'm playing really badly and can't seem to get any impact I'll swap, but if I'm still contributing one or two kills a fight and not dying a ton, no worries. You're doing your job.

Yes, but thats just how life is, we are all dumb AF. We are biologically designed to crawl in mud, live in caves, collecting berries and hunting mammoths. So trying to remember things like using your electronic devices to shoulder peek every corner inside an electronic device inside a video game during a blood sugar crash from only eating doritos and mountain dew the whole day. Not to even mention trying to grasp how to play hanamura B point.
We just some oversized bacteria on a keyboard, sometimes better to dumb down the game a bit to make the matches more balanced, instead of having to suffer through 18/18 volskaya because neither team knows how to defend KEKW.
