I bought 24 of theses bad boys Saturday they all came alive and swimming around everywhere. Thanks KT for all your videos they are very informative .I recommend anybody to buy these. I've been researching these since 2004 and finally bought some. Thanks again
I love the passion that you put into these prawns KT, keep up the good work and continue to have lots of fun with it!
Hey Kt could you make a few videos in depth of the setup, Daily care, water conditions from berried female to finishing post larvae.
Hey KT Prawns! I love your videos! Please make some more! And you just earned a new subscriber!
Hey KT, how did you get started with farming shrimp? Would you recommend any sources on how I can learn how to do this myself? Love what you're doing, keep up the great work!
Dan Chetcuti Hi. It started a few years ago when I was looking online for fresh Shrimps. Found a few and buy it online. I spent tons of hours doing research on them. I believed I spent about 4k to 5k total in the process of getting them to reproduce. There is no information online about breeding and nobody want to share it. Right now I'm only about 10% -15% successful. I still have issues and complete failure from time to time. Raising them from post larvae to adults are the easy and fun part. They grow fast and taste great. Hope you understand. Best Wishes.
I can see what you mean! I spent hours yesterday looking up more info on the subject, and I could hardly find anything. Very disappointing. I keep reading about how our oceans are being overharvested and all of our shrimp that we import (about 90% of shrimp) is contaminated. I love being self sufficient, and it just seems like a really interesting venture that I would like to look into more.
Is there any books, communities, websites that you could recommend for me to look into more? Thank you for your time!
KT i really like the videos but i really want to know the feeding and care for the prawns from hatching till post larvae day by day and the food can be given and the way to prepare
