This game's AI is truly its weakest link. They open doors and the just stand there oafishly. They see their friend get shot and they yell, "Advantage is ours!"
Yeah, I had so much fun playing it and I definitely recommend it, but the human NPC AI might be the worst I've seen in a game. It made me wonder if it was a performance issue since it's VR and there's all the physics interactions and whatnot. It's real fun and well made otherwise!
i mean because they are exactly that AI they arent going to have emotions when their friend dies because they are AI they go through pre selected dialog, they don't see that their friend died all they know is that they are in a battle so it goes through the battle dialog

There's zero reason for a VR game to be devoid of the usual content a full triple AAA game has. Zero.
All these titles are just little bits of thrown away bets till something sticks with the audience.
They're not trying to make a dream VR game, just more cash.

The headset is only 4k witch is still good its 4k in each eye but they put it together for some reason.
Because the "k" format standard is a width resolution standard. It is 8k wide, 32:9 aspect ratio. They have since day one told people its 8k and what its a 4k uhd screen per eye

I love this game but agreed I found the DLC super disappointing as well, especially since it was delayed by almost 5 months, makes me think it was made by just a single person.
The vr looks clean and dope the headset looks like a super vilian mask or if cyclops from marvel xmen had googles like these it would be perfect look

You should keep playing aftershocks the last few quest are vary unique and took me a few hours to figure out
Especially the old town one.... The most frustrating hour and a half of my life. Had to look it up on youtube to find the last god damn letter

Ive played this game for a year and didn't know you can change the Firing rate on the m4!!!!! thank you.
That van firefight towards the end at 12:50 was insane! What music did you have in the background during that section? So cool.
Use the Lever-Action sniper rifle, it oneshots to any part of the body, pierces armor, and feels really cool.
Also you can put magazines that still have ammo in them back in storage, so you don't leave perfectly good bullets on the floor all the time

8kX has been my daily driver for over a year now. its amazing if you have the GPU to feed it. luckily i got my hands on a 3080 on releaseday. ;) (i just wish it had more VRAM)
Why not jus make full vented helmet to balance and make it look nicer if its that big. I been wanting to convert one of my headsets into a helmet. Iyou can do quick turns without it moving too.

Bro is Node dying...? I want to ignore the views, but they're pretty low recently. Love what D is doing now and hope he doesn't stop. We have all the classic Node stuff still but the channel has to evolve if it's gonna survive, and we really need to support these videos and Corridor on their site if we want it to keep going. Niko and Sam and even Brandon will be back, they're just busy and we're in a pandemic...the boys aren't gone for good, but Node will be if we don't get it to glory again
