I think we all have had church websites that have met one or all of the failures that you've mentioned. I try to keep the site updated as much as possible and do try to keep it mobile-friendly, but sometimes it still needs work. One of the things that ours is still lacking is in photos or videos of the members of our congregation. That's something that I need to find someone to take photos, so I can post them on the site. Thank you for these informative episodes.
Glad you are finding a benefit in these. The last time we got pictures taken during a service, I had just asked a few people in strategic places to take a couple photos on their phones during "service time" and then send me the originals. And then I stood towards the back of the church and took a couple during worship time. It really helped to have it all done in one day.
These are pretty basic stuff when it comes to websites. True though. I wish there are generally more content on my church’s website though. The basic infos are there but nothing else. Pretty boring.
Yeah, a lot of churches are still struggling to get the basic info and pages on their sites. But, I do hear you when it comes to being pretty basic and boring. I think that can also come down to who the church is trying to serve with their website and how they want to do that. 🤔
