That's a fabulous lesson, cheers. I'm in a funk/soul band playing congas but I plan my debut with guitar one of these days.

Thumbnail is funny. I can just see you in a Darth Vader costume funking away at a groove on stage. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

love this. is the backing track available to members? i had been making my own backing tracks for a while but i just caved and joined a couple weeks ago. quite happy i did;)
also, any words of wisdom with regard to the angle of the pick on the upstroke when alternate picking double stops? i've been trying to dial this in for some time and haven't quite found a motion i can count on 99.9% of the time. i naturally tend to have a bit of a downward slant when i play so down strokes are chill, but coming back up i haven't settled on whether to keep the angle and brute force it or rotate slightly
maybe this is a little granular for youtube, and everyone is different, but i always appreciate your take on these nuances
thanks as always and happy holidays;)

Yes this backing track is attached in the lesson on the website. On double stops, if possible most of the time I would do all downstrokes. Otherwise, I angle downward on both ups and downs
