- First experiments adding the Drumbrute Impact to the mix! Still getting used to how to interact with all of this new gear, but I'm having lots of fun and learning tons along the way. All sounds in this video are coming from the Shared System and Drumbrute impact straight into the DAW. And to all my bass players, I swear the bass will be coming back to this channel soon. I've been fully immersing myself in this new paradigm, but we'll be getting back to the low end strings soon! Patch notes below.

► Tempi - receiving clock (from drumbrute) and sending clock divisions
► Brains + Pressure Points (clocked from triangle OSC A) to create a sub oscillator for oscillator A
► Rene X CV/Gate are sequencing DPO Final Output for the high range seqeunce
► Rene Y CV/Gate are sequencing DPO A saw for bass sequence
► Morphagene is playing back a pre recorded melodic flourishes, resampling and panned (by Maths channel 1)
► Changing 'chords' on Rene by selecting different scenes
► Mimeophone and Erbeverb are adding ambience
► Drumbrute has two different patterns that I'm selecting manually
► Roller bar used for fills
► Solo button used on occasion to drop some voices out

What @Adolf just said! Just getting sucked into modular myself...is it the logical next step for pedal obsessed bass players?! lol Not surprised to find you here doing the same Zach! You're sounding great! I've been eyeing this same Make Noise Black and Gold system. Love watching you work it! btw, I am grateful to you every day for how much you painstakingly taught me about VCOs, VCAs, LFOs, FM, etc in our bass fx pedal sessions. Superb foundation for me going into modular. Hope to see more of you doing this!

Have you found a way to integrate your bass into this ecosystem to get coherency? I'm still trying to find a happy medium

Dig it. I really like how compositional your sessions are. There seems to be an element of spontaneity, but I feel like I’ve been somewhere specific. Musical improvisation, not just button turning.
Thanks! I'm definitely trying to improvise a 'piece'. Not always successfully, but that's the goal.
You need to find some independent film makers
