I love this! My son just turned 12 months so I feel like I am reliving his newborn days! We followed the no schedule schedule and I loved it. Enjoy all the of cuddles 🥰
Love this mom era for you!! ☺️ My baby is 3.5 months old now and I feel like we’re just starting to get on a somewhat consistent schedule for day time! We followed his lead for the first couple months!
I second this! My daughter will be 15 months old tomorrow, and it took her forever to get on any type of schedule. Especially nap time! My advice is don't stress over such things. You're doing an amazing job Rachel. God bless❤
@@Erin_29 My daughter is 15 months too! And omg! Same! She was never a napper early on, but fell into a schedule around 10-12 months. I would get asked a lot if she was on a sleep schedule after my maternity leave and it kind of made me feel pressured to do sleep training. But I never did and it fell into place once she got older. I heard a lot from Mom friends, don't wake a sleeping baby. And that comforted me. Bc I didn't think it felt natural to wake a sleeping baby to feed. I felt like she would let me know it was time to eat. And she sure did! 😅 I enjoyed and still do take advantage of nap times too! It feels nice to get some things done, rest, or gather my thoughts. Trust your Mom instinct is the best advice I feel like helped me! And letting the baby's cues lead the way is how I feel too Rach! And not to worry if they're sleeping x amount of hours by x time of day by x amount of months. The schedule will happen when it needs to. Enjoy the newborn moments, it's a mix of all the feels and a season in life when I feel like anything goes and people give grace and understanding! I love the clip in the beginning of Maverick having hiccups and you comforting him Rachel! You're a beautiful and loving Mother. 💗 XOXO Mamas! We're doing amazing!! 💕😘🍼☕🙃
Ahh Rachel!! I love this so much and I am so obsessed with your content! Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and such a light. I have loved seeing your day to day like as a mom now and it’s so sweet to see. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Loved this vlog Rachel ~ So fun and nice to see you in your days as a new mom. As a mom of 4, I would have loved to have videos like yours to relate to when my babies were newborns.
Babies go through many growth spurts in their first year! 6-8 weeks is the biggest one and also known as their PEAK fussiness! May start noticing witching hour in the evenings and he is harder to settle. Cluster feeding is a big one too. Knowing this stuff helps you understand a little better why your baby seems unhappy at times ❤
Rachel, I know how hard those beginning stages are. Nothing truly prepares you for such a big life change. You’re doing amazing!!! No matter how hard you try, I just don’t think a schedule is possible in those beginning stages. Their sleep and hunger is just all over the place. My baby is turning 6 months now, and we are just starting to feel like we have a bit of a schedule going on. Can be very hard if you’re someone who likes routine. It gets so much easier with time!! I’m impressed seeing you get work done l while also being a new mom. There is no way I would have been able to get anything done during those first few months besides just keeping my baby and I alive😅. Loved watching your video, and sending hugs and lots of good sleep coming your way in the near future.
I was so stressed about how I was going to put my baby on a schedule before she was born but i swear that you guys will just fall into your own schedule as the months/weeks go by ❤️ you’re doing great!!
I love the Lyres spritz but they are super bitter straight from the can! I usually add cut it with some soda water or some of an orange poppi and it’s so good! Tastes so much like an aperol spritz
Hey Rachel! I would look into weighted sleep sacks more- there’s been stuff coming out recently how they aren’t considered sleep safe anymore. I guess Amazon and target have pulled all weighted products like that too!
You and Dylan are doing a great job. Always give yourself some grace and remind yourself this is a season and it doesn’t last forever. I have a 2.5 year old she’s turning 3 in September and I cannot believe how fast it goes. Watching you with a newborn gives me MAJOR baby fever haha. Sending you so much love 🩷 ps. Would love to see a how to style your Postpartum body video. I feel that would be fun to watch and could help a ton of mamas.
I highly recommend following wake windows for sleep. He will eventually get on a schedule probably around 3-4 months. The first few months you just follow their lead :)
Loving the new Momma content ❤ Rachel you can give him a little water when he gets hiccups.. Growing up Latina I always saw my mom grandmothers & aunts get a little piece of string from baby’s clothing and wet with your own saliva so It’ll stick and put it in between baby’s eyebrow where a unibrow would be for hiccups and it actually works lol I’ve done it to my girls too just wanted to share that.. Blessings to you all ❤Love from NYC
Mother’s intuition is so real! Do literally whatever you’re comfortable with 🤍

Heeyyyy !💟

I think it’s really common to not have a schedule with a newborn. As he gets older, you’ll get into more of a rhythm with him.
Wait why does my newborn wake up every time we’re about to eat dinner too why do they do that 😭😭
Lolll
Omg 😳😍
🧡
We want to see more baby.
