I felt the dad's pain tremendously when it came down to being behind on the bills and not having enough to provide for the family but he always put the kids needs ahead of his own. My MOM passed away in Nov of '94 on Thanksgiving day. But before she left us we had many years of learning many things, among them cooking. On that day I remember everyone showed up. We had a long table with three delicious turkeys and all the trimmings but no one could eat. My Dad was trying to stay strong for us but he was devastated. He got it together and took care of us and grand children as best as he could. We did alright because a family makes it work. En Cristo todo se puede.

This story is similar to what happened to my mum when she got sick. Watching this made me cry but also it's a good lesson for anyone who has been rude to others who are going through this

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. My dad passed away on May 6th, 2021 & my mother passed away on May 7th, 2023. My mom's death has affected me the most, cause I had a closer relationship with her, than my dad. But, that didn't mean, that I loved him any less. I just wasn't around him as much as I was with mom. 😢❤
I am so very sorry. 13 months for me coming Christmas Day. I lost him day after Thanksgiving. He spent his last few days on the ventilator having End Stage COPD.
Then, almost a week after bringing in the New Year goes my extra mother.
