It's a long story as to why this was canned that honestly deserves its own video, as for whether or not this gets picked up, I can say that from my point of view, there's zero chance of this hack ever being finished.

I love the "spooky background" in Final. Reminds me of Giygas from Earthbound 👁👄👁 actually now that I think about it, this game does have some Earthbound humor to it and I love that

This hack was slightly influenced by Russians, perhaps... But "Perestroika" Zone translates "Restructuring" from Russian. Also Manic Metro 2 has "Денди" on the background, which is "Dendy" on Russian - bootleg console from Taiwan which was the main and the best replacement for Famicom/NES in Russia in 1990s and 2000s. *NFKRZ* has a video talking more about it... ... What was I talking about, again? Oh yeah, "Денди". Probably a little easter egg from one of background artists of the hack, not sure.

Its not a romhack, but there's a sonic fangame called "Eggman Hates Furries." Yeah, weird title, bit its a cool bossrush sonic game with an awesome final boss you won't see coming, I swear. The final cutscene though... A little sus, I'll warn you now (tails and sonic kiss). Other than that, good gameplay if you like bossrush games.
Of course a charming, goofy, eye catching, and surprisingly coherent hack like this is thrown aside and left to be a 1 level prototype forever. What a waste. I hope this is not the end for Lover the Caterhog.
