Fun fact: Pensacola Florida used to be the capital of West Florida which incorporated much of south Alabama Mississippi and Louisiana.

Please Please Please do not associate us with Alabama. We are nothing even close to Alabama, there's a state line for a reason. If you spend enough time here versus AL you'll notice the difference between the two. Btw, many Floridians born and raised call this "the real Florida" due to the many transplants throughout the south.

We are definitely close to alabama geographically and culturally. Pensacola is very similar to mobile. North Florida in general is more "southern" than the rest of the state. I went to Orlando just a couple months ago and noticed a lot of differences between there and here.

Been in Pensacola since 1978. Originally from Los Angeles. Pensacola is spread out in different areas like Bellview, East Hill, Myrtle Grove, Beulah, Ensley, Perdido, Pensacola Beach, etc. To name a few. You haven't even scratched the surface. I've been to Mobile, AL and surrounding Alabama towns numerous times and Escambia County, City of Pensacola isn't anything like Alabama. A whole different vibe. Nice try though 😁

Low income areas will be more likely for crime, not hard to comprehend. Pensacola is large and not alot of "old" money left. Kids of those that have tried to make it better have become financially dysfunctional, mainly due to drugs. Been in pensacola most of my life, mostly down to earth people that want to leave but don't know/care how to do it. Makes for a hodge podge of great, good, and bad people. To hold a whole city to 1 premise is not tolerance. Love the video, just seems to trigger negativity in the comments...funny to see such judgements.

This was definitely not a true depiction of my beautiful little city. Most people.will tell you I am a walking billboard for Pensacola. I was born and raised there and moved about 12 years ago but I come home 3 to 4 times a year. Any city has not so great areas and Pensacola is no different take it from someone who was born and raised there Pensacola is VERY different from Alabama and truth be told they are in Pensacola on a regular. Our beaches are beautiful and there are several middle and upper class areas of Pensacola which is where most of my family lives to this day. Funny how you only chose to go to one of the oldest projects in Pensacola. I'm curious how you even knew how to get to Pensacola Village... suspect all in itself Sir. Horrible review! 👎 People! Pensacola is one of Florida's best kept secrets the beaches are still not so touristy that you can actually enjoy the water and be in a family environment. Stay at Soundside Holiday Beach Resort on Pensacola Beach, have a bushwhacker, eat some oysters and fresh fried fish at Landry's, visit the outlet malls in Foley and while you are there visit Lambert's home of the throwed rolls! The 4th of July is a really magical time there. My husband and I got married right on the beach on June 29th and that week enjoyed a free Blue Angels air show along with a spectacular fireworks show at the end of the week. Also don't forget to visit Joe Patti's Seafood and grab a fresh New Orleans treat while you are there. See for yourself it's an AMAZING place to visit. My family and I were just there July 2022. Stayed for a week. P'cola born and raised and proud of it!

Nick if you have children and you just moved here please get a tutor they actually have them available through the schools because they're not going to get an education in that school at all they're so far behind everywhere else I swear when they graduate they have less than 8th grade education. If you're going to work and you come from New Jersey or New York they hate you here trust me they really hate you and they will just play you the whole time they would enslave you and laugh at you if they could it's true they hate people from that area. So don't get a job at the police department cuz they're really really crooked here they've got predictive police and going on they're targeting people they've got community harassment going on like the neighborhood watch groups the cops program it's real corrupt so don't get involved with them and be careful cuz as soon as you enter the state they can Target you. Then I want to tell you about the school board the city certain Banks if you get a job in there they're really clickish and they're just going to play you and then get rid of you. Look up dead peasant life insurance it's a little scary but some of these big corporations all over the country but here in Florida particularly they take them out life insurance policies on employees through Winn-Dixie Coca-Cola you know big corporations. Do some research on the areas that you're going to move to Lakeland is being infiltrated right now because it's a beautiful little area however the people here are the worst. I wish you luck God bless you and by the way the car insurance here is very bad and there's a lot of accidents so you want to get uninsured Motors protection right off the bat because the average pip and driver has $10,000 and if you get hit most likely to surgery or treatment your Sol for Life think of it. There's a lot of bad stuff here not a place to live sorry I moved here 30 years ago biggest mistake

Never have been treated like that here, been here 20 years from Chicago but I went to highschool here. I work here, nice job, own a house, I feel well integrated here. Most division is over religion and politics, less on where a person is from and this goes for rural areas too. Never had any problems with the sheriff or police, I have had only 1 ticket my entire life here.

Sounds like you should move already. To hate the place you live in so bad it must be miserable. I would pack my crap today and get the heck out of there. Go live in a cardboard box in another state if you have to for it would still be better then Pensacola Florida 😆 🤣. It amazes me how there can be people out there that live their whole lives blaming their circumstances on everything or every one but them selves. There is a reason everyone still continues to come here. It actually is worse in a lot of other places. The place you live is what you make of it.
