Life in Lockdown | Short Film

This short film describes how I grappled with the uneventful days of the pandemic, ultimately breaking away from the endless loop and discovering the things that I enjoy doing.
There's a common logic that goes 'too much of anything is bad', and that applies to our daily routine. Quarantine at home has forced us to constantly keep looking at screens, tapping away at our laptops and mindlessly consume media. While media platforms continue to pump out videos and TV series that satisfy our brain craving for stimuli, there comes a point when we start to lose the joy we had in the beginning. In the end, when nothing excites us and there's nothing to be passionate about, we question the meaning of life. This is what plagued me at the start of this film.
The turning point in my story came in the form of a simple question from my mother. A suggestion posed as a question. With curiosity and desire, comes action. I was determined to get out of my comfort zone and do different things. It did not matter what it was as long as I was moving my body, my mind and trying something different. In no time, I rediscovered my passion for filmmaking. In short, don't be afraid to break away from normality. Be different and be creative. Unleash your imagination.
