- 'Blackbird' takes flight in celebration of our 'Blackbird' album release at Village Underground, London in 2013. The concert was a special party with a 500-person-capacity and live streamed on the night worldwide. Blackbird was our third full-length album, an unholy mix of disco, rootsy dub, blues, soul and electronic funk that still resonates today. Super fresh Blackbird Returns re-rubs and re-dubs remix album out 29 September 2023.

Is it a reference to the practice of "blackbirding" which was the practice of abducting polynesian islanders from their island garden homes to force them/enslave to work on the embryonic sugar cane industry in Queensland for example? The sailing boats used were referred to as "blackbirds", this went on after slavery was abolished out of site out of the public eye!

Hello mate, where are they playing 11th Oct? I know they're at Alexandra Palace on the 18th Oct, but didn't know about a gig on the 11th. PS. I don't blame you for the long journey and sleeping rough etc. They're worth it + you could go somewhere else after Fat freds. One thought is getting a hotel out of London in a Travel Inn or something?
