Hello! Great information. I have visited Medellín many times since 2021. I got a girlfriend there in 2022 and just proposed to her in August. I'm learning Spanish and she speaks no English, but is learning in class. I plan on retiring in Medellín soon.
Some of my humble advice to visitors:
For Guatape, I highly advise folks to get a tour bus trip. It cost me $100 per person and they stop in a small town to eat a light breakfast, another town to sight see, then Guatape for lunch and to climb the mountain steps if you want to. For the price, it was worth it. The tour busses usually meet up at Parque El Poblado for about 7am. They pick you up and bring you back there.
For Comuna 13, folks can just walk and don't have to pay a tour guide. You can RUclips a Comuna 13 video and watch it before going.
I absolutely LOVE Medellín. I'll be back in October 19-23 and 10-15 November. Retirement can't come fast enough....

I been going for 10 years there is so much to do there and places to go. Probably the best place for the what it cost. to bad it continues to get so popular it keeps getting more expensive but still very affordable.

❤❤🇨🇴🇨🇴Medellín is the most beautiful city in Colombia and is one of the cities with the best quality of life to live because of its nature, its mountains, its delicious food, also because of its viewpoints that are in the mountains in Las Palmas, the Mirador del Picacho, also because of its parks. For example, Arvi park is one of the best parks, there is a lot of nature with animals, not monkeys.❤❤Greetings from Medellín Colombia I recommend that you come visit Medellín come to Provence

Hi there! I didn’t stay in a hotel while I was there, I stayed in an Airbnb. Nice to have a full kitchen and apartment set up. Also made me feel more part of the locals! 😊 I’m glad you booked! I always tell people, if you don’t do it now, then when ?
