- Ever since I found my God and Master in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, I have never felt the need or desire to go on any kind of pilgrimage or visit any temple. Thus it was that I never visited the world famous shrine at Tirumala (Tirupati) though it is less than 225 kms away from Puttaparthi. But then, I was forced to go to Tirupati to get the passport for my daughter, Bhakti.
The series of stories, anecdotes and personal experiences that happened, left an indelible mark in my heart. The most amazing of the stories was about how the priests at Tirupati had come to have Swami's darshan in Brindavan in 1998!
I had my first ever darshan of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala. The darshan was indescribable - pure bliss. Everything was dark except the beautiful idol that had been brilliantly lit by lamps all around. It seemed to radiate the message that in life, one need to blind to everything else other than God! Seeing the Lord for just a few seconds is enough to imprint that unforgettable scene in the altar of one’s heart. My softened heart was like clay and it easily got imprinted with the image of Lord Venkateshwara.
I was grateful to Swami for ensuring that I could enjoy the bliss of darshan at Tirumala!
The date of our visit is erroneously mentioned as March 2018 while it was actually the March 2017. Sorry for the error!

Over the years witnessed that Swami is the god goddess in all temples whether its Kailash, Maa Vaishno devi, Kashi, Shirdi, Thirupati. Sincere devotion to any form reaches one God. I used to think the same as you . Once I came along with my parents to Puttaparthi for Dussehra one week trip and we had to leave for Thirupati after a week .I didn't want to go to Thirupati by leaving the real god in Puttaparthi. That thought itself gave me so much pain . But nothing in my hands as I was in highschool. Everything was decided by my father. The whole week dharshan time I used to pray to swamy to cancel the Thirupati trip. Finally the last day of our trip in the Puttaparthi arrived, I was in swamy's morning dharshan. Suddenly I saw Thirunamas on swamy's face for a fraction of seconds. It was an amazing experience. I was out of my mind throughout the day. After the evening dharshan we have to leave for Thirupati. Evening I was in dharshan and remembered the morning experience. By that time Swamy was done with his dharshan, i understood that he was not only in this physical form. He is universe🙏🙏. With that feeling I left Puttaparthi with my parents and reached Thirupati. Every time I used to cry when I was leaving Puttaparthi. But this time I was calm and quiet. Usually while dharshan at Thirupati, security pushes us to move fast. That day no one asked to move and i felt like lord Venkateswara received me like my grandfather. 🙏🙏
For our sake swamy picked up one physical form, but he is limitless.

We were also blessed to have the Darshan of Lord Venketaswara in Tirupati almost like you!
Suddenly we were present in front of the Deity without any crowed and the priest blessed us with so much ease and time that we were misled to think may be this is the way it happens! But then when we turned back to return and we faced a crowd with any number and chanting Voi La!
The taxi driver Anna was thrilled with so much excitement that he has been coming to Tirupati for 15 years and never had such magnificent darshan of the Lord!
May be we are blessed by our Sai Lord with special privileges 🤗

No shastra mentions this entity called sathya Sai baba or Sai baba also for that matter. Both are self proclaimed human beings. Keep your beliefs to yourself to yourself. This video literally undermines the Supreme position of Sri Hari whose glory is sung throughout all shastras unlike sathya Sai or Sai who are nowhere to be found in any shastra.

Om Sri Sai Ram Ji...while I was in the Prashanti Nilayam for Sewa from Haryana and Chandigarh in 2016 I also visited Bala Ji Tiripati for Darshans ...from Puttaparthy to Bangalore and again from bus visited Tiripati Balaji...had my darshans and came back to Sai Bhakt Niwas and resumed my Sewa...really felt overwhelmed...and after completing the Sewa for 15 days returned home Panchkula Haryana...blessed moments...Om Sri Sai Ram

Many people influenced my teenaged son when he was in the engineering college, to chant Buddhism ‘nam mein hirange kyo’ he chanted but before Swami’s picture (which is always with him) . First said Sai Ram and then chanted the Buddhist lines. For us Swami is our complete existence and our alter is complete with Him. No need for any other form.
Nothing wrong with chanting _nam myoho renge kyo_ of course which means some like "Om homage to the Lotus Sutra Dharma". The Lotus Sutra is one of the most famous Buddhist writings. It teaches that all Buddha paths lead to enlightenment.
Unfortunately, one of the groups active today that promotes that mantra is also quite restrictive in their interpretation of Buddhist teachings. They reject the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha as bring outdated and no longer applicable, they claim they are the only true Buddhists, and they say that their historical "founder" is the True Buddha. However, I don't think their founder actually taught that.
Other groups that trace their origin to the same founder and chant the same mantra are much more reasonable people who work to promote tolerance of different religions.
@@igrim4777 yes the groups active these days are very different I know of many and several people who are part of these chantings . My point was that my young son couldn’t see anything beyond Swami . To each his own conviction! I respect other’s’ beliefs.

Coming to the topic of temples,we are reminded of the management of temples(including Shirdi), by the respective state governments,(in contrast to Prasanti Nilayam),and their motives in doing so,which leads to charging tickets for darsan,where religious practices are only what the Government says it is,and there are no bhajans etc. like in Prasanti Nilayam.

Brother thank you so much for sharing. I here by share my story in happend in Tirupati and how I landed in Parthy later.
I visited Tirupathi and there when i waiting for Darshan ,I came across a old man in line asking me to visit Puttaparthy for Gurupournami Celebrations. I gave good number of reasons to asking to excuse (new place for me, I don’t know anyone there, I can’t travel all by myself)and all my attempts where just contradicted by this old man saying there will be lot of Rooms, students, food is free. He also told he lives in Puttaparthy.He convinced me to think about Puttaparthy.
To my utter shock,
Later the next few months it was just happened That I landed in Puttaparthy for my Job purposes.
Since that Grandpa had made several attempts I thought to reach him over phone to convey him That I had visited Parthy. Even after several excavations in my phone contacts I couldn’t get the grandpa (elderly man ) number who asked to visit Puttaparthy. Later with my experience at Party and incessant experiences of devotees strengthen the feeling

Yes. Swami, my dear Sai ma, gave this guidance before He called us to Parthi in 1978 for the first time. In dream he guided me. In Parthi during Interview He said "Keep Swami in Heart no need to wear in fingers".What great Mantra which is taking me shaad in life even with so many difficult situations because I know He only is giving me strength. Dear sairam .I am once again before you . Whenever I see u in such satsang I always remember n naturally comes to my mind about ur first book written on THE LOVING LORD. THAT'S IT. From that day my going away from u is unimaginable. Last time when I visited the ABODE for service during LORD'S Birthday I was blessed to have met S/s Amy Deshpande, Sai Prem and others. But still I am not fortunate to have had ur meeting ( darshan) of u.
My service, blessed by SWAMI, starts on 19th Nov 2023. Whenever a notification is seen by about ur lecture I don't miss to hear. Like u I have lots of practical experience either at Tirumala Hills or at our SWAMI'S ABODE. I don't know so far I have not disclosed to anybody except one or two who are very close to me.
